I was utterly amazed by Wujiang Village in Guizhou! National Geographic didn't lie to me

This is truly a real-life version of Shangri-La! During my visit to Wujiang Village in Zunyi, Guizhou, I encountered scenery so breathtaking it will stay with me forever. Now I understand why National Geographic raves about this place!

By day, Wujiang Village unfolds like an ink-wash painting. White-walled buildings with dark gray roofs are scattered harmoniously among the mountains and rivers. The crystal-clear river flows gently, its surface rippling in the breeze. Willow branches sway along the banks, their reflections dancing on the water—a scene so beautiful it's impossible to look away, as if stepping into the poetic world of ancient literati.

When night falls, the village transforms into a magical wonderland. Thousands of lights gradually illuminate the area, their reflections shimmering on the river surface, creating a dreamlike interplay of light and shadow. For a moment, it feels like stepping into the fantastical world of "Spirited Away"—the awe and emotion in that moment are beyond words. Unless you experience it yourself, it's hard to imagine just how incredible this atmosphere is!

🚄Transportation: If taking the high-speed rail, it's a 20-minute taxi ride from Zunyi South Station. From Zunyi Station, you can take a scenic area shuttle bus.

When it comes to food, the village streets are packed with delicious options from across the region. Zunyi's mutton rice noodles are incredibly fragrant—tender mutton paired with chewy rice noodles warms you up with every bite. Don't miss the sour fish soup either, with its rich, tangy broth and tender, smooth fish—utterly unforgettable.
