They say Switzerland is Europe’s backyard, and after 9 days here, I was truly amazed by the beautiful lakes and mountains! Sharing my Swiss highlights itinerary, visiting fairy-tale towns, snowy mountains and glaciers, trendy restaurants, and taking tons of beautiful photos✨
Day 1: Stroll through Zurich Old Town
📍Bahnhofstrasse
A luxury shopping street perfect for photos, the corner café is worth trying
📍Lindenhof Hill
A popular spot overlooking the old town’s red rooftops
Recommended restaurant: Zeughauskeller
Day 2: Lucerne’s lakes and mountains
📍Chapel Bridge
Iconic wooden bridge, fewer people in the morning for great shots
📍Lion Monument
The world’s saddest sculpture, best lighting before 9 AM
Day 3: Jungfrau Region
💡Buy the Swiss Travel Pass in advance
📍Interlaken
Take the train up to Jungfrau, don’t forget to try the chocolate at the summit
📍Lauterbrunnen
A dreamy waterfall town, recommended to stay overnight
Day 4-5: Grindelwald

Food Dos and Don’ts:
✅ Swiss fondue must have cheese + white wine combo
❌ Avoid restaurants in tourist areas, prices double
Photo Tips:
1. The light is softest before 10 AM on sunny days
2. Bring bright-colored jackets for better snow photos
3. For town street shots, choose 4-5 PM
