Mount Emei Perception
1. Preparing to set off
On November 7, 2018 (Wednesday), the beginning of winter on the 30th day of the ninth lunar month (a day worthy of being forever recorded in the history of my life), the time is seven o'clock, [song] "A laugh in the sea, the tides on both sides of the strait, the ups and downs with the waves to remember today". The mobile phone on the bedside reported the order on time as planned with Xu Guanjie's "A Laugh in the Sea" (mobile phone alarm clock music). I, the protagonist of the article, a middle-aged old man in Beijing who has reached the age of fifty-four, got up, and when he thought that he was about to temporarily put down the trivial matters around him and let himself go, he was in a particularly happy mood, happily washed up, dressed well and adapted to the outfit of hiking and traveling, and packed his bags: power banks, chargers, trekking poles, leggings, knee pads, selfie sticks, first aid kits, slippers, toiletry bags, change of underwear, food, and other items were counted one by one and put into a small suitcase and a hiking bag. Fully equipped and ready to go, glancing at the clock is just half past seven, the time is still early, cat for a while, take out the mobile phone to play games for a while, watch the mobile phone news for a while, pay attention to the weather in Mount Emei, more than an hour has passed in a flash. At about 8:40, I was ready to set off again, but before leaving, I stood at the door of the house and thought for a minute, which is a good habit I have developed for many years. No, live together. He walked out of the house with his suitcase on his back, and packed his clothes.
I wanted to take a taxi along the road to the West Bus Station, but I unconsciously walked to the No. 387 bus stop out of the community, and it happened that the No. 387 bus entered the station, so I got on the bus. The bus road was really smooth, it was rare that there was no traffic jam, and it took less than an hour to arrive at Beijing West Railway Station. I got out of the car calmly, unhurriedly went up to the overpass from the escalator, and entered the second floor of the West Railway Station directly from the side door of the West Railway Station connecting to the overpass.
There are not many passengers in the West Railway Station, I followed the prompts on the big screen, came to the fifth waiting room at exactly 9:50, there was still an hour and a half left to leave the train, and the ticket inspection had not yet started, so I found an empty seat in the waiting hall to wait for the train to rest, and used this time to enjoy the free wireless LAN of the West Railway Station, and watch the mobile phone news to pass the time.
Wait until 10:50, the Z49 train began to check the ticket, I entered the station according to the prompts, followed the flow of people down to the fourth platform, looking for the No. 5 carriage of the Z49 train, the extended carriage sequence was quickly found, and the order of the train was extended to find the soft box of the No. 15 lower bunk, entering the door, and I saw a temperature gauge hanging in the box directly opposite the door, the needle was 20 degrees Celsius, lukewarm, and the sleeper soft box that should have accommodated four people in the box, except for me, there were no other passengers in place, and the water tower got the moon first. So I calmly put down my hiking bag, took off my jacket and hung it on the herringbone hanger on the train, calmly placed my suitcase, opened my hiking bag, took out the travel thermos cup, brewed Pu-erh tea, took out melon seed snacks, and changed into slippers. After I had prepared for the long-distance trip in an orderly manner, I lay half-lying on my sleeper for a short rest, hoping that the train would start soon.
At 11:28, with a long whistle, the train started on time and left the platform. Through the car window, the bright sun shines on the earth, the city buildings slowly cross the line of sight, the road is full of vehicles, the pedestrians are bustling, in a hurry, all the familiar pictures of my hometown of Beijing are slowly thrown behind me, temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of the city, and go alone to welcome a mysterious and unfamiliar environment, and I can't help but feel a little apprehensive, whether it is melancholy or excited, I can't say it.
The soft sleeper box that can accommodate four people in the car dares to enjoy it alone, and the other three beds are empty and there is no one, which is simply the central ministerial treatment of VIPs, I have this lucky honor for the first time in my life, and I can do what I can do without restraint in the box, and I feel very comfortable. Because I did not choose the convenient online ticket purchase when booking the ticket, but went to the train ticket agency office a mile away from home to buy tickets in person, and it cost an additional 5 yuan in handling fee. However, I was able to choose a convenient lower bunk through the conductor and a box that had not yet been booked by others. Therefore, how good I can be as lucky as I want is with my own careful planning, there is an inevitable causal relationship, and it is also in the sky that things are done by people.
Yes! The dream trip of letting go of oneself kicked off from the luck made in heaven, and such a beautiful and smooth start also indicates that my "Dream Journey to Mount Emei" in the next few days will also be full of surprises.
2. The train slowly
twelve o'clock, when it was lunch time, we started rubbing on the spot and took out the lunch prepared in advance from the bag - strawberry and walnut flavored bread, two corn ham sausages, Fuling mustard, Wangwang small crisp, plus the brewed Pu-erh tea. After a while, I feasted heartily, and after being full of water and food, I knocked on the three flavors of sunflower melon seeds that my daughter usually bought me with tea, and I was extremely comfortable and satisfied, and at this moment I deeply realized: happiness is not only in the company of mountain delicacies, villas and fragrant cars, and you will find that in every corner of life, happiness is always with you.People's desires have no end, only by knowing how to be content can they be happy, and the pain of chasing and comparing with the eyes and hands is always alive, and they can never experience happiness. The ideal can be very plump, but the reality must accept and enjoy the skinny feeling and be content. You must know that fame and fortune have always been unequal to life, but time is the most equal and greatest wealth in life, you can enjoy beautiful happiness when you have time, as long as you are alive in life, you must fully enjoy time, busyness is not the goal, don't be sorry for yourself.
busy, busy all his life;
Go and go, in the end you will be far away;
Sadness, sadness, wealth changes hands, empty sadness;
Laughing, laughing, it's ridiculous that the world can't get through.
At 12:40 noon, the train stopped in Baoding, Hebei Province, there were not many passengers getting on and off the train, and I was temporarily returned to the box alone, I took out my mobile phone and found that the electricity was insufficient, but fortunately, there was a 220-volt power socket in the box, connected to the charger, and I was ready to use my mobile phone to make an essay on this trip. Let's start the essay first, the title is "Essay on Mount Emei". I started writing from the moment I got up, writing hard, all the memories and feelings in my mind were recorded in the mobile phone document one by one with the click of my fingers, writing and writing for a while unconsciously, I don't know how long I slept, I woke up, looked out the window, Yan and Zhao land, autumn and winter, the leaves were red, yellow and green, the endless winter wheat had just sprouted, neatly uniform, a piece of emerald green, but there were very few pedestrians and vehicles on the road, in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city, where did the 800 million farmers go? In the window, there are less than eight passengers in the entire No. 5 carriage, and there is no noisy, pungent, messy and irritable riding environment that I have felt on the train in the past, on the contrary, the carriage is very peaceful, fresh, clean and warm, and I feel rare and comfortable, and I can meditate and write alone in the box without disturbing, rejoice, rejoice. I didn't expect it, but I really felt it: I can travel so leisurely in the off-season when there are few people.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, the train slowly drove into Shijiazhuang Station in Hebei Province, and I could still continue to enjoy the entire box alone. I suddenly remembered one thing, Taikang Life Insurance Company has a newly built pension community in Chengdu, called Shuyuan, yes, it is called "Shuyuan", why don't I take the opportunity to travel to Mount Emei through Chengdu, and go to the "Shuyuan" to inspect the living environment in my spare time. Right! Just pick up my mobile phone and send a text message to Mr. Yang, an insurance consultant of Beijing Taikang Insurance Company. Mr. Yang of Taikang Life returned the phone in a blink of an eye, and was willing to help contact the insurance consultant in Chengdu, and notified me immediately when there was a result. As a member of the 4-2-1 family created under China's family planning policy, I plan ahead for my future retirement life, find a warm, convenient and comfortable pension place, spend the good time in my old age, and do not burden or reduce the burden on the younger generation is the reality that I must face in my future life.
By the way, I also remember that at half past nineteen tonight, there is also Beijing Guoan vs. Shanghai Shenhua Chinese Super League football league, Beijing and Shanghai, the two biggest enemy cities in China, have been competing with each other for 70 years, especially in the past ten years of football games, no one is convinced, as soon as they meet, they will die, every time the players in the event will have a passionate collision, the fans must also be enthusiastic, and every game can show heart-wrenching passion. Hey, it's a pity that the mobile phone is not up to the task, and the live broadcast of the stadium video screen is not good, although it is a pity, but it can only be at ease.
Iwas really comfortable in the car, and I could only write "Essay on Mount Emei" when I had nothing to do, and I wandered around in the carriage when I was tired of writing, but fortunately, there were few passengers in the carriage, and the No. 5 carriage could hardly see anyone from beginning to end, and it was quite comfortable to walk.
At 17:30 p.m., the train slowly drove into Zhengzhou Station in Henan, and Mr. Yang of Taikang Insurance replied: I have contacted the salesman in Chengdu, send me the contact information first, and then send me a part of it when there is more accurate information tomorrow. Let me be free to contact the business in Chengdu directly. In addition to thanks, I sighed: My idea of holding grass and hitting rabbits as I wanted came to a successful conclusion, which was the icing on the cake.
The train started at 17:30, and I continued to enjoy the VIP box treatment alone. For dinner, you can bring your own bone broth instant noodles, tea eggs and ham sausages. Although it is a little simpler, it is better and more inexpensive than the boxed lunch on the train. After eating and drinking, he took out his mobile phone and continued to write "Essay on Mount Emei". I don't know how long I wrote, but it was already dark outside the window, and I couldn't see anything. So I put down my mobile phone, closed the curtains, lay on the sleeper with my head resting on my hands, closed my eyes to recuperate, listened to the beautiful light music playing on the train, thinking about what would happen on the trip in the next few days, thinking about the emergency plan, and what I wanted to eat and loved: the pure Sichuan-style fish-flavored shredded pork, kung pao chicken, Dongbo elbow, sweet and sour pork, mapo tofu, Sichuan cold noodles, garlic white meat, husband and wife lung slices, fat rice noodles, dan dan noodles, tofu pudding, rabbit head, hot pot, etc. The sweat pores all over my body seemed to be really opened by the spiciness, sweating, how could I enjoy it alone? Emotion: There are good and bad things when a person travels, the good thing is to act as he pleases and temper his sense of independence; The bad thing is that due to the limited amount of belly, you can't taste the food of the world in a short period of time, especially the lack of a happy atmosphere of drinking. There must be gains and losses, and there must be gains in losses, the truth that will not change through the ages.
Lying idle and bored, thinking wildly, alas, I still forgot to bring a few favorite history books, which look good on the road, and now I can only look at the mobile phone for consultation.
At half past nineteen, Guoan's Chinese Super League ⚽ match against Shenhua started on time, I can only understand the game situation through the text live broadcast on my mobile phone, the network is intermittent and not ideal, when can you enjoy the free wireless LAN on the Beijing-Guangzhou line on this train, make do. The "CITIC" in Guoan's team emblem should be changed, and the team logo should not still use the English abbreviation of the original CITIC Group, and it is best to replace it with a dragon head in the middle. After 90 minutes of fierce battle, Guoan finally won Shenhua 3:1 and took all three points. Although this year's Beijing Guoan Chinese Super League championship is no more, the FA Cup championship is still very sure to earn the first place, Guoan has not won the national championship for many years, let us Guoan die-hard fans for decades look forward to it! However, whether Guoan wins the championship, my life is day by day, what can I change? Pay attention to the game and just play entertainment, just be happy!
Therewas really nothing to do on the train, so I wrote another "Essay on Mount Emei".
When the train arrived in Hankou at 10:25 p.m., I was already sleeping peacefully. There were two new male and female passengers in the box, and the quiet and private environmental space immediately disappeared, and the VIP treatment was over. The train passed through Yichang and Enshi on the way, and when I was in Chongqing, two men and one woman got off the train separately, and I fell asleep in a daze, and I was speechless all night.
On the morning of the 8th, I was stunned until 7:30, I couldn't sleep in and got up, dressed neatly, packed my bags, and made a cup of milk tea for breakfast. The fog outside the windows was rising, the scenery was gone, the train drilled over the mountains, the carriages flickered and darkened, passengers hurriedly washed and ate, the dining car attendants shouted breakfast loudly along the carriages, and the conductors also began to collect garbage along the boxes for sanitation.
At about eight o'clock, the fog outside the window slowly dissipated, and the scenery of the country of heaven came into my eyes, and the scenery outside the window was no longer the colorful autumn colors of the north, but dense green, the sky seemed to have just rained, the ground was wet, and the sun had not yet shown its face in the clouds and mist. Although I was in the car, I was worried about the outside of the car, thinking that I had to rush to Chengdu South Railway Station to transfer to the C6265 train to Mount Emei, with only an hour and a half in between, in addition, Chengdu Station was the terminal, there must be a lot of people getting off, and I tried to avoid delaying time on the way, so I packed up my luggage in advance and stood early at the door of the train carriage to be the first to wait to get off.
At 8:28 a.m., the train arrived at Chengdu North Station on time, I got off the train with the first Malil, followed the flow of people out of the train station, turned left not far to find the subway A1 entrance, walked into the station quickly, found the self-service ticket vending machine, and stuffed the prepared four one-yuan steel hammers into the coin slot in advance - ticket issuance (it would be nice if Beijing's bus all-in-one card could be used nationwide, which could save the trouble of repeatedly buying tickets in different places), get off the platform and take the subway of Line 1, and successfully arrived at Chengdu South Station after nine stops. After I got off the train, I got out of the subway from Exit D, and came out to Chengdu South Railway Station, first bought a ticket at the ticket hall window on the first floor, went directly to the security check, and successfully arrived at the waiting room on the second floor at 9:01. It's good, it only took 45 minutes (a quarter of an hour less than the expected time), the action was perfect without delay, and finally I could stop jumping, I could get on the C6265 tourist train on time, and there were still more than 40 minutes of leisure rest, and there was no wireless LAN like Beijing West Railway Station in the waiting room, so I could only use mobile phone traffic to pay attention to the local news.
At 9:59, the train departed on time, the passengers in the second-class carriage were basically full, and the carriage was no longer quiet during the journey, and the noisy, pungent, messy and irritable riding environment returned to my eyes, on the other side of the aisle on my right, there was a pair of young male and female couples, and the girls in it kept complaining about the boys, and there was no good face throughout the whole process, a hard fall, in front of the passengers in the next seat, I didn't leave any face for the boys, and I could see that the boys were already frowning. But it still has been tending with the sound and has not broken out with this girl. At this time, in the face of this situation, as other passengers on the same journey, the best way to deal with it is to pretend to turn a blind eye, I looked down at my mobile phone, and recorded this situation and this scene in my "Essay on Mount Emei". Alas! Because loving each other can tolerate difficult people, because loving people who are not disgusting; Falling in love can be coquettish, and loving each other can endure humiliation and bear the burden; Because of love can change oneself, because love is unwilling to change one's lover. "Closest and most distant couples"; "How much sorrow can you have? It's like a river of spring water flowing east."
At eleven o'clock, the train passed through Leshan City, more than half of the passengers went down, and the couple also got off the train. The carriage suddenly became much quieter. The train continued to move forward.
3. When I first arrived
, thetrain arrived at Emei Mountain Railway Station on time at 11:25, I got off the train calmly, and when I followed the flow of people through the exit passage, there were many seemingly formal tourist reception booths on both sides of the passage, and they were all uniformed Jianguo (Liangmei) reception, and Jianguo rushed to find passengers to enthusiastically promote the hotels near Wuxiangang halfway up the mountain, lobbied passengers to participate in a group tour for a few days, and there were convenient services such as free shuttle and drop-off from the car to the hotel.
Anyway, my eyes are black, the first time in my life to Mount Emei, I don't plan to climb the mountain today, it is just noon, the time is also rich, I can't help but sit down and listen to how Jianguo introduces, scan the tourist information of Mount Emei, at first Jianguo was enthusiastic about me, and he gave up his seat and poured water, and he was so warm that he was considerate, and he almost rubbed his shoulders and beat his back (joke), when Jianguo learned that I was going to hike from Baoguo Temple, I didn't expect Jianguo's expression to immediately overturn and put away the smile. His face immediately stretched longer than Su Dongbo's, and they all used the same line to perfunctory me: "I can't provide you with help." And immediately turn around and dodge, hiding from you eight feet away, treating you as if you don't exist. Ouch! I thought to myself: It's really a mercenary attempt to go to your uncle who can't afford to make a profit, but I am also a tourist who comes to your Emei Mountains to pay taxes and spend money, and the local sharp fruits also pretend to be a bit of a host's demeanor, haven't your hometown (parents) taught you how to be hospital when you were a child (since childhood), wipe the oil first and then cut your hair - how can this be true?
Sigh!" The world is hot and cold, but I am afraid that autumn will be cool and empty." Human feelings are indifferent and everything is empty! Is this my first impression when I first arrived at Mount Emei? There is still a long way to go up the mountain in the future, and I really can't say what hot and cold feelings are waiting for me. It's a bit disappointing to think about it.
But I think about it from another angle, I can't blame the sharp fruits for being mercenary snobs, the sharp fruits also have to rely on solicitation commissions to eat, and the real society is not so cold and flamed, and I am rare and strange, I shouldn't be blamed, it's strange, it's not strange, why bother to be weird, blame yourself, and don't blame yourself. Hehe, haha! After turning the page, I feel much better thinking about it. I sat down, drank water, and didn't miss anything, come on, I'm still a singing horse rider - open the way and leave.
It is necessary to remind tourists who are new to Mount Emei that they must have a certain number in their hearts, do some travel homework in advance, so as not to be fooled and lose themselves, and must have a sense of prevention. The tourist routes they promote are only suitable for tourists who are short in time and do not want to be affected, and are the tourist routes in Mount Emei that are covered by commercial servitization. These routes cannot appreciate most of the beautiful scenery of Mount Emei at all, let alone appreciate the enduring artistic conception of Mount Emei as a religious ashram for thousands of years, it only selects a few more convenient attractions in the infinite scenery of Mount Emei. With points and faces, fool those tourists who don't know much about Mount Emei, so that they break the bank. But then again, if tourists do not want to visit Mount Emei in a comprehensive and in-depth way, they can also buy worry-free through the tour guide and visit according to the tour guide's arrangement. The original intention of saving time and less burden by spending money is not a choice to get what is needed with merchants.
Next to the exit of the station, there is a direct tourist bus to Leidongping, Wannian Temple and Wuxiangang in Emei Mountain, because I just want to hike from the beginning and don't pay attention to it. I walked out of the exit of the station, not far from the square in front of the station is the bus station, and the No. 12 small bus passes through the Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple in the scenic area under Mount Emei, and the driving route runs through most of the scenic spots in the city of Mount Emei and under the mountain. When I was waiting for the No. 12 bus, there were also hotel solicitors at the station from time to time. The train station is the starting station of the No. 12 small bus, the whole journey is 2 yuan, coinciding with the off-season of tourism, there are not many tourists on the bus, after about ten minutes of passing through a few stops in the city, the bus passes through the "famous mountains in the world" archway, and after passing this archway, it also indicates that I have entered the Emei Mountain Scenic Area, because this archway is the mountain gate of the Emei Mountain Scenic Area. The main plaque of the archway "Famous Mountains in the World" was inscribed by Guo Moruo in 1959 at the invitation of Mr. Li Daoxi, a painter from his hometown, and the "Buddhist Holy Land" on the back is from the handwriting of Zhao Puchu, former president of the Chinese Buddhist Association.
It was only five minutes, and the car arrived at the (Emei Mountain) Hotel Station for 2 stops, I got off the bus, not a few steps away, and found a hotel at random at the entrance of a nearby alley, a single double bed independent bathroom was only 100 yuan per night, and after bargaining for 80 yuan, the hotel was less than 200 meters away from Xiujia Tianxia attractions. I checked in and entered the room on the second floor, the room is quite neat, spacious and bright, that is, a little damp, it feels a little cool, the feeling in the house in the south winter should be like this, damp and cold, as a native northerner, I slowly adapt, this is also a travel experience. Put down the luggage, flattened on the side of the bed to relax the muscles that were a little tired and tense all over the body, "Eh", my back was put on by something, I reached out and touched it, I dare to love the power interface of the electric mattress, come on, Ma Liu'er found the power plug of the electric mattress, found an outlet above the bedside table to plug in the power supply, let the electric mattress warm the cool bedding, the temperature of the electric mattress slowly rose, I lay on it and felt much more comfortable, not so cold, I wanted to sleep for a while. "Grunt", but the stomach began to scream, hungry, and it was half past one in the afternoon when I looked at the watch, no wonder the stomach was calling, so I went to find a meal first. Out of the room, in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, on the recommendation of the proprietress I ordered a tattered liquor soaked in local herbs (I don't remember the name of the medicine), and ordered a bowl of dandan noodles, deliberately emphasizing the slight spiciness, and asked for a local specialty - fried bacon with wild vegetables. I like to eat bacon, especially Sichuan bacon, which has a golden color on the outside, red and white on the inside, bright color, and a bite of which fat but not greasy taste is particularly spicy. Because I was the only one dining in the store, the proprietress cooked herself, and the wine and food were brought out after a while, and I ate and drank while chatting with the proprietress about the travel anecdotes of Mount Emei.
In thechatter, I learned that on this day, Mount Emei has passed the peak tourist season, and now Mount Emei only has a small number of tourists patronized, especially there are very few tourists hiking from the bottom of the mountain, accounting for less than 5% of the total number of tourists, most tourists are on the first day by tourist bus to Wuxian Gang, in Wannian Temple, White Dragon Cave, Qingyin Pavilion, Yixiantian, Black Dragon Plank Road, Monkey Area to play, take the tourist bus to Leidongping that night, take the cable car to the Golden Dome to check-in, and watch the sunrise the next day. At dawn, we visited the top of the back mountain, returned to Leidongping on the same day and took a tourist bus down the mountain, and visited Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple by the way. The hotel also takes care of luggage storage, and there is no storage fee as long as you come back from climbing and stay here.
After eating and drinking to check out, I went straight to the welcome square at the entrance of Mount Emei.
Fourth, the first tour under the mountain
At about 14:30 I arrived at the welcome square at the foot of Mount Emei, and the first thing that caught my eye was the first mountain pavilion of Mount Emei, which was two feet long and four feet high, showing the rich and profound cultural heritage of Mount Emei, showing the grandeur and broad-mindedness of Mount Emei, and was the epitome of the ancient and modern culture of Mount Emei. It is currently the largest copper pavilion in China and the starting point for tourists to walk into the mountain. Behind the mountain pavilion is a cliff carving, engraved with the words "the eldest son of the Buddha of the Universal Sage, the leader of the Mount Emei", the cliff carving demonstrates the birth and development process of the legendary Bodhisattva, and then the Confucian, Buddhist and Taoist cultural corridor of Mount Emei, which inherits and carries forward traditional Chinese culture through different aspects, and excavates its own value and charm from the history and culture of Mount Emei, highlighting the connotation of its "first mountain in China".
In front of the first mountain pavilion, there is a bronze large square tripod imitating "Simu Wuding", which is more than one person tall, and is engraved with the inscription of the Shengshi Baoding:
"Majestic and majestic, the pulse originates from Kunlun, to the southwest of Shu, and the three peaks protrude. It surpasses the Five Mountains and is the most beautiful in the Nine Provinces. The Wei and Jin dynasties and the Indian treasure palm monk praised it as "the first mountain of Aurora". Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty chanted "Emei is higher than the western sky". In the Ming Dynasty, Zhou Hongmo's poem praised "The beauty of San'e is the best in the world, why do you need to wade through the sea to find Penglai", and Fu Guangzhai sighed that "the sage is the eldest son of the Buddha; Emei, the leader of the mountain", Yuan Zirang titled "The First Mountain in China".
"In a prosperous era, people and politics are connected. Protecting famous mountains and developing tourism has been advocated by the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Government, and Leshan Emei Mountain has worked hard to build China's first mountain. Sages from all walks of life, both sides of the strait, and the common people's sangha, worked hard to govern, which lasted three years, and the achievements were remarkable, and the achievements were great!
"Reaching the top is like a heavenly court. The ten directions are universal, shining in the three realms. The gold, silver, and bronze halls are full of colorful and flowing light. A masterpiece that shocked the world. The Buddha's light shines in the sun, and the holy lamp is bright. Ten thousand Buddhas come to pay homage to the sect, shining brightly. The golden top on the clouds is incomparably wonderful!
"The starting point of the famous mountain, the gods come to everything. Xiujia Falls falls straight down to nine days. A mountain of copper pavilions, highlighting ancient and modern times. Confucianism and Buddhism are harmonious and harmonious. Civilized management and first-class service. Guests from both inside and outside the court came one after another. The world is Emei, and the charm is supreme!
"Pray for the eternal prosperity of Emei Mountain, the constant flow of beautiful water, the inheritance of culture, and the world. The magnificent Emei Mountain is worthy of being the first in China!
I read the inscription, thinking about tomorrow's hiking trip to Mount Emei, the scene described will be presented in front of the eyes of my buddies one by one, a little excited, this trip to Mount Emei will definitely feast the eyes, harvest good memories, feel something in the heart, there must be something to understand, and there will be gains.
Onthe right side of the welcome square is Xiujia Waterfall, and the big character "Xiujia Tianxia" in the waterfall condenses the theory of "Emei Tianxia Xiu", and a "A" character highlights the status of Emei and the courage of Emei Mountain people. Standing in front of the waterfall, I saw the waterfall pouring down from the sky, like a pearl white curtain hanging on the stone wall, the splashing water formed a burst of rain and fog in the air, the rainbow appeared in the sun, and the waves in the stream and river were rolling and rumbling, what a beautiful picture created by man.
Behind the mountain pavilion are cliff carvings, on which the nine golden characters of "The First Mountain of China" and "Leader of the Mountain" on a vermilion background indicate the prominent position of Mount Emei among the famous mountains in China and show the world the natural and cultural charm of Mount Emei. The famous quotes listed around represent the evaluation of the "first mountain" of Mount Emei by different dynasties of Wei, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
5. Baoguo Temple
Continue to visit, slowly walk along the stone road in the mountains and follow the road signs, and walk about a mile to one of the eight major temples of Mount Emei - Baoguo Temple, the ticket is eight yuan. The temple of Baoguo Temple on Mount Emei is majestic, with Maitreya Hall, Daxiong Hall, Seven Buddha Hall and Puxian Hall four-story houses, built on the mountain and rising step by step.
The layout of Chinese temples is that the middle road of the front is three gates (mountain gate), the left and right of the three gates are the bell tower and drum tower, the front is the Hall of the Heavenly King, there are four Vajra statues in the hall, followed by the Daxiong Treasure Hall and the Sutra Building, and the monk's room and the dining hall are arranged on the left and right sides of the middle road. The Daxiong Treasure Hall is the most important and largest building in the Buddhist temple, and the "Daxiong" is the Buddha Shakyamuni. Before the Sui and Tang dynasties, Buddhist temples generally built pagodas in front of the temple or in the center of the house, and after the Sui and Tang dynasties, Buddhist temples generally replaced pagodas, and most of the temples had separate pagodas. Regardless of the size and location, the architectural layout of Chinese Buddhist temples has a certain regularity: the plan is square, with the three-gate hall--- the Hall of Heavenly Kings--- the Hall of the Great Glory--- the main offering of the Bodhisattva Hall--- the Dharma Hall--- and the Sutra Building to organize the space, symmetrical, stable and rigorous.Along this central axis, the buildings in front and behind are connected and closed, like a movement with vivid charm. The architectural beauty of Chinese temples responds to the echo of mountains, pines and cypresses, flowing water, temples and pavilions, with subtle warmth, showing the harmony, tranquility and charm given by the combination and change. The ancient Chinese had a deep yin-yang cosmology and an aesthetic psychology of advocating symmetry, order and stability in the architectural pattern. Therefore, Chinese Buddhist temples integrate China's unique functions of worshiping ancestors and heaven and earth, and are still a square architectural group with a square plan, north-south central axis layout, symmetry, stability and rigor. In addition, Buddhist temples with garden-style architectural patterns are also more common in China. These two artistic patterns make Chinese temples have both elegant and solemn temple atmosphere, as well as natural interest and far-reaching artistic conception.
The Maitreya Hall of Baoguo Temple is the Hall of the Heavenly King, which enshrines the Maitreya statue. "Maitreya" means compassion, he is a bodhisattva and has not yet become a Buddha. Bodhisattvas are second only to Buddha in Buddhism. Shakyamuni Buddha said that 5.67 billion years after his death, Maitreya will come back to the world and become a Buddha under the Longhua tree in Hualin Garden, and preach the Dharma three times to save all sentient beings. So he is called the future Buddha. The Maitreya statue is offered behind the statue of the protector Wei Tuo, facing the mountain gate and facing the Daxiong Treasure Hall.
The Hall of Great Nobility is the second hall, "Nobita" is the meaning of "only great and only male" in the Buddhist scriptures, and the hall enshrines the golden body of the Buddha Shakyamuni with a golden body decorated with a seated lotus statue. The left and right sides of the Daxiong Treasure Hall are dedicated to eighteen Arhats. Arhats are Buddha's enlightened disciples, and the eighteen Arhats are the entourage disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha. The statue of Amitabha Buddha offered in the back niche, Amitabha Buddha, also known as "Guiding Buddha" and "Infinite Life Buddha", is the leader of the Western Pure World.
TheSeven Buddha Hall is the third hall, the Seven Buddha Hall is enshrined in the Seven Buddhas, the middle one is Shakyamuni Buddha, and the remaining six are past Buddhas, from right to left: Namo Detention Sun Buddha, Nanwu Nahammuni Buddha, Namo Kasyapa Buddha, Namo Visha Buddha, Nanwu Corpse Abandoned Buddha, Namo Vipa Corpse Buddha.
The Puxian Hall is the last hall dedicated to the Puxian Bodhisattva. Mount Emei is the temple of the Bodhisattva of Puxian, so he is offered in the last hall. The door of the temple reads: "The solemnity of golden corn is the residence of the Bodhisattva; Ephemeral flowers shine brightly on the love of Chenazi."
After leaving the Baoguo Temple, I wanted to visit the Mount Emei Museum, but unfortunately the repair was stopped, so I had to stop by the "First Mountain of Aurora Mountain" attraction, and the big characters of "The First Mountain of Aurora Mountain" were mentioned by the monk Baozhang, and the three big characters of "Mount Emei" mentioned by the Kangxi Emperor.
On theway back to the hotel on Shunshan Road, there was a sound of bird songs, and when I approached, I saw two medium-sized RVs with foreign license plates parked on the side of the mountain road, and next to one of them, a blonde boy holding a sword was entertaining himself next to the car. Oh go! Tourists from which country are not far away, and the whole family drives an RV to travel to Mount Emei, Sichuan, China, so envious, jealous, and hateful. When I was young, I fantasized about driving my RV to travel around the country with my family, but unfortunately, when I was financially capable, I had passed the age of knowing my destiny and could no longer drive a medium-sized RV with a B-book licensed vehicle, which was so depressing. How many unsatisfactory things can there be in life, alas, fate. However, the loss of the horse in Saion is not a blessing. (Supplementary note: Now that C can drive an RV with a length of no more than 6 meters, I will definitely buy one in the future to realize the dream of traveling around China in an RV).
Walking back to the hotel, there was free Wi-Fi in the room, I was half lying on the bed to rest, playing mobile games, watching TV, and taking a break. At eighteen o'clock, I went downstairs to visit the night market here - delicious street, the night market is very large, hundreds of stores are basically open, but there are very few customers, choose a restaurant to settle down, dinner ordered a sweet and sour pork and dan dan cold noodles, I wanted to order a chicken shredded cold noodles I ate in Beijing, but the store said no, and when I inquired later, it turned out that there was no shredded chicken cold noodles in the local area, and the shredded chicken cold noodles I ate in Beijing were Beijing-style Sichuan noodles improved by northerners on the basis of Sichuan strange noodles, and they were no longer Sichuan snacks. After rubbing (eating) and continuing to visit the night market, I found that there are many shops selling swimsuits, and the local hot springs are particularly famous, and now you can also swim outdoors in the hot springs, thinking that when I come back from climbing, I can't help but experience the feeling of soaking in hot springs outdoors, and the bubbling hot springs will definitely help relieve fatigue after climbing. It was getting late, so I bought a few bottles of drinks in the supermarket for tomorrow's mountain climbing, and then took a road back to the hotel. Bathing in loose clothes, going to bed early, climbing the mountain early tomorrow, and being silent all night.
6. Fuhu Temple, the starting point of mountaineering
, checked out at7 a.m. the next day (9th), and put the items that were temporarily unused during the mountaineering process into the suitcase, stored them in the hotel, only brought a hiking bag, filled with the necessary supplies for mountaineering and cold, holding trekking poles, stepping on hiking shoes, wearing a jacket, a hiking bag on the shoulder, a mountain hat on his head, and left the hotel fully armed to start my dream journey of hiking Mount Emei.
Here is the first [reminder]: The top of Mount Emei is 3099 meters above sea level, and the Baoguo Temple is 550 meters above sea level, with a drop of 2594 meters. Each mountaineering route, the first road: Yingbin Square - Fuhu Temple - Leiyin Temple - Chunyang Hall - Shenshui Pavilion - Zhongfeng Temple - Guangfu Temple - Qingyin Pavilion - Hongchunping - Xianfeng Temple - Yuxian Temple - Jiulinggang - Xixiang Pond - Leidongping - Jieyin Hall - Taiziping - Jinding, this road is about 120 miles; The second road: Wannian Temple - Huayan Peak - Xixin Place - Chudian - Jiulinggang, turn to the first road, about eighty-eight miles; Third road: Passenger service center takes the tourist shuttle bus directly to Leidongping and turns to the first road; Fourth road: The passenger service center takes the tourist shuttle bus directly to Wuxiangang - Qingyin Pavilion, and then transfers to the first road, or transfers to the second road via Qingyin Pavilion - Bailong Cave - Wannian Temple. There is also Wannian Temple - White Dragon Cave - Qingyin Pavilion, and then turn to the first road; The scenery of the first road is the most beautiful, and it is the essence of Mount Emei. There is a cable car from the reception hall to the golden dome, and the Wannian Temple to the Wannian Temple parking lot.
I chose the first way, and tonight's camp was scheduled to be arranged in Hongchun Ping, so as not to miss the beautiful scenery of "Hongchun Xiaoyu" the next day. Following the guidance of Baidu maps and road signs on the mobile phone, from the Yingbin Square, the Yan Moya rock carvings to the Fuhu Temple, I was the only tourist on the road, the small bridge between the apprentices flowed water, the birds sang and the flowers were fragrant, the rooster in the mountain farmhouse crowed, and from time to time there were a few dog barks, and a few also hung up the signboard of XX Farmhouse, but the smell of rice was wafting, and the smoke was not seen repeatedly, it was time to eat breakfast. I walked all the way and saw that the three-foot-wide stone road was wet with dew and covered with moss, and I accidentally slipped, but fortunately, I didn't have a chance to walk to one of the eight major temples of Mount Emei - Fuhu Temple.
The fir trees here are forested, shrubs are patched, and the temple is hidden deep in the green and green "nan forest", so it has the reputation of "hidden tiger in the dense forest". After crossing the "Tiger Bathing Bridge", I came to the ancient temple behind the "Bujin Forest" wooden workshop, the ticket was six yuan, and I stepped into the mountain gate, because I was in a hurry to get up early, I was really hungry all the way, so I found a bench behind the Maitreya Hall and sat down, took out snacks and ate them, and observed the temple while eating. The temple also has rooms for rent. I forgot to wear leggings because I was in a hurry to go out, so I ate early and tied the leggings again, and after I was busy, I started visiting the temple.
It turned out that this was the largest bhikshuni monastery in Mount Emei. The Maitreya Hall is the first hall of Fuhu Temple, which enshrines the smiling pot-bellied Maitreya Buddha. The left and right wings of the Maitreya Hall are statues of the Four Heavenly Kings, the left hand holding the pipa is the Eastern Heavenly King, and the side holding a sword is the Southern Growth Heavenly King. The one holding the red umbrella is the King of Broad Eyes, and the King of Duowen is holding the green dragon in his hand. There is a saying among the people that the four heavenly kings hold four things, symbolizing smooth weather and rain. Behind the Maitreya Hall is the Veda Hall, which contains a seated golden statue of Veda Bodhisattva. The Daxiong Treasure Hall is on the central axis of Fuhu Temple, majestic, carved beams and painted beams, and the three bodies of Shakyamuni Buddha enshrined in it are: Dharma body, reward body and body sculpture; On both sides of the main hall, there are also eighteen Arhats. The Huayan Pagoda is in the upper left corner of the Daxiong Hall of Fuhu Temple, this pagoda was cast in the thirteenth year of the Ming Dynasty, and the Huayan Pagoda is the treasure of the town temple of Fuhu Temple. Such a beautiful and huge copper tower was cast nearly 800 years ago, and it was cast in one go, the height of the whole tower is 19 feet 2 inches, and there are no traces of splicing in the tower body.
Follow the left to the highest point of Fuhu Temple, the Arhat Hall, which enshrines five hundred Arhats. There are actually only 499 Arhats in the Arhat Hall, and it is said that because the master who sculpted the Arhat was also an Arhat, there is another one that is this master. The demeanor of these Arhats is different, some are kind and kind-eyed, some are sad, and some are fierce. But one thing is the same, that is, every Arhat is lifelike, and there is a Thousand-faced Guanyin Bodhisattva in the middle of the Arhat Hall.
The nuns I saw in the temple were not lacking in age, and mortals wanted to escape from the world when their lives were just starting, and there must be those who could not solve their troubles, cut off the threads of love, whether it was the red dust or the pure land, if they could practice with the sincerity of respecting the Tao and seeking knowledge, and restrain their greed, where is the green mountain not a dojo? Who can't attain enlightenment and become a Buddha? Why do you need to hide in the empty door of self-righteousness, really only by escaping into the empty door can you escape from the world, and you can save all sentient beings without desire or desire, I don't think so.
Turn left out of the temple and visit the stalls in front of the temple, spend five yuan to buy a tour map of Mount Emei, ask the vendors about the route to Leiyin Temple, the vendors tell me a shortcut in a strong Sichuan accent, I follow the route guided by the vendors, combined with the guidance of Baidu Maps into a village, there are many villagers along the way of the village to open farmhouses, a few villagers on the side of the road set up stalls selling mountain goods, drinks and cloth shoes and other items, and there are very few tourists hiking on the road. And even if I met a group of young people in their twenties, an old man like me who hiked alone really didn't find a second one. Am I old? Are you different from your peers? I don't know whether I am happy or sad in my heart, and I can't help but feel a little melancholy when I think of my daughter and my humble wife, maybe this is the fate in Buddhism. But I always firmly believe that fate is unpredictable and always variable, people's fate is in their own hands, only by working hard and correctly judging the choice of life can we grasp fate, if there is really heaven, it is only a physical representative of nature (Tao), according to nature (Tao) according to different people's lives to be tested differently, as the saying goes: planning things are in people, success is in heaven, if fate is really predestined, human beings will also lose the motivation to move forward.
I will never give up halfway, let alone give up.I didn't believe in that evil, I pointed to the golden top and swore to Mount Emei: My own fate must be decided by myself!
7. Step by step climbing the mountain and stepping on the temple
Ittakes about two and a half hours to reach Leiyin Temple, because the mountain road is not steep and the physical strength is still very abundant, cross the liberation bridge to the first slope of Mount Emei - the liberation slope, the liberation slope has more than 260 stone steps. The meaning of liberation, according to Jiang Chao's "Chronicle of Mount Emei", explains: "Enter here to liberate the world, and get out of this to get rid of dangers."
The liberation slope was not long, and I climbed to Leiyin Temple without feeling tired. The temple is built on the liberation slope near the rock, with a high hill and a high road. The building layout is built using narrow terrain, and the volume and scale of the building are increased by the technique of stilt buildings, and the decoration of the temple is simple. The Buddha statue of Shakyamuni in the hall was sculpted by the contemporary great master Long Lian invited from Tibet by a lama, and the body is plump, which is a mixture of Tang Dynasty statues and Tibetan Buddha statues. In the Guanyin Hall, there is the largest wooden Guanyin statue in the mountain.
After leaving the temple, I continued to go up along the mountain road, and saw a pergola on the side of the road, where an uncle asked me to buy the tofu pudding that had just come out of the pot, which was beautiful and tempting, because I only ate some sweets for breakfast, and I didn't eat anything with salt, as if I was missing something, and the weather was humid and I should eat spicy food and sweat more, so I stopped and asked for a bowl of tofu pudding, six yuan, and sat down to slowly taste this mountain farmhouse meal. There is not much tofu pudding, just a small bowl, but I was sweating profusely, the spicy was so refreshing, and my body felt much more relaxed.
After eating, continue to move forward, there is a ticket gate in the middle, where you can buy a ticket to move forward, the ticket is 160 yuan. 【Tips】Mount Emei does not provide color paper tickets, and uses ID cards to purchase and verify tickets throughout the process, as well as face record ticket verification, including cable cars and scenic tour buses. Most of the scenic spots and temples in the scenic area do not charge tickets, only Fuhu Temple, Baoguo Temple and Wannian Temple have to purchase separate tickets, and there are colored paper tickets.
About four miles to the Chunyang Hall under Chicheng Peak, the temple is not large, but the architectural layout and shape are full of charm, the layout of the compound courtyard, the wooden structure, sitting south and facing north, the construction area is nearly 2,000 square meters, and the existing buildings include the mountain gate, the main hall, the sutra building, the Medicine Master Hall, the Puxian Hall, etc. The temple gate, the main hall, and the scripture building are dropped three times by the stone steps, and the small stilt buildings are equipped on both sides, and the mountain flat of the building and the tower on the upper part of the mountain gate form a similar archway, which not only strengthens the spirit of the mountain gate steps, but also highlights the entrance to the temple. Taking advantage of the height difference between the main hall and the scripture building, a steep stone staircase is set up to introduce the scripture building, and the steps have a corridor of appropriate scale, so that the up, down, left, and right constitute different indoor and outdoor space changes, so as to meet the use function, and give the special charm of the scenery of the mountains and forests and temples, reflecting the wisdom and superb architectural skills of the ancient Chinese working people. The Medicine Buddha, Sunlight Bodhisattva, and Moonlight Bodhisattva offered in the hall are all copper and gold-decorated, which are cultural relics of the Qing Dynasty. In the wild grass behind the hall, there are still two stone steles, and the text is clearly legible, reflecting the history of Mount Emei originally the coexistence of Buddhism and Taoism, and then the prosperity of Buddhism and the extinction of feathered scholars. The Chunyang Hall is more than 1,000 meters of sea splashing, and the ancient trees around the temple are towering, shading the sun, and the ring demon is quiet and pleasant. Not far in front of the hall is a "Puxian Stone", which is said to be a resting place for Puxian mountaineering poems. A few hundred meters away from the Chunyang Hall is the former site of Huideng Temple, where you can see the peaks in full view, such as the weather is clear and you can see the golden dome, the cliffs, and the sky.
Continue to extend the stone road in the mountains, and not far to the Shengshui Zen Monastery (Shenshui Pavilion), which was originally the villa of Wu Yongxian, the governor of the Ming Dynasty. During the Ming Wanli period, it was renamed Shengshui Monastery, and during the Qing Shunzhi period, it was renamed Shenshui Pavilion. The hall is quadrupled: Guanyin Hall, Maitreya Hall, Daxiong Hall, and Puxian Hall, which are beautifully built. There is a couplet: "The holy water secretly connects to the Anurun, and the wise enter the jade spring clearly." Outside the pavilion, there is a spring pool known as the Divine Water Pool, where the spring water is crystal clear and crystal clear, and it cannot be drained all year round. Under the scorching summer sun, the cold air is close to people's faces. In the middle of winter, the surrounding mountain temple trees are already covered in silver, and the pool is still warm and warm in the ice and snow, warming people's hearts, and is regarded as a holy spring in the mountains. Unfortunately, I only saw what looked like a dry spring. After passing the Holy Water Pavilion, you have to take a section of road and descend gently.
At noon, I had a meal at a farmhouse near Zhongfeng Temple, a shredded potato, and I could add it myself if I didn't have enough rice.
Therewas also a middle-aged and elderly couple who came down the mountain from Qingyin Pavilion and wanted to go to Baoguo Temple, but when they couldn't walk, they discussed with the owner of the restaurant whether they could take them to Baoguo Temple by car, and the fare was 50 yuan. After eating, the boss drove them down the mountain.
I checked out with WeChat with a good meal and continued on my way.
When I walked to Zhongfeng Temple, because the road passed through the back of the temple, I didn't take a detour directly to Maozhongfeng Temple. Not far forward, there is a step road on the left side of the highway, the road sign points to Qingyin Pavilion, I leave the road and go up the steps, first climb a long slope, the mountain road is winding, there are road signs, no lost, continue to move forward alone, walk and rest on the way, occasionally meet young fellow travelers who are hiking and climbing, exchange the feeling of mountaineering and mountain information, and relieve the fatigue of the journey.
When
I climbed to Guangfu Temple, it was about fifteen o'clock in the afternoon, and a burst of Buddhist music floated from afar, at this time I met a middle-aged woman about forty years old on the road, she told me that it was a voice coming from Qingyin Pavilion, and also recommended to me her farmhouse not far from Qingyin Pavilion - Clean Hotel, and also introduced the scenic spots of Mount Emei, focusing on Wannian Temple, and accompanied me all the way to His Excellency Qingyin's Jiewang Pavilion. I also helped take pictures, but I was enthusiastic, I was indeed a little tired, sitting in the pavilion to rest, thinking in my heart that if I only extended the first way, I would not be able to reach the important scenic spot of Mount Emei - Wannian Temple, wouldn't it be a pity, and I also really wanted to find a place to dry my sweat-soaked jacket, so it was better to change the plan to camp directly in Hongchunping today, and from then on I would lightly change my route to Wannian Temple, and return to Qingyin Pavilion to camp without regrets. So I went to the hotel with her. A single double bed room is 130 yuan, and check-in is completed. I was very moved when I heard that the lining of my jacket had been soaked with sweat, and she took the initiative to provide me with a high-power hair dryer.
The single room is very wide and bright, the large window facing Qingyinping Lake is facing the wall, I am half lying on the bed, looking out the window at Qingyinping Lake, green mountains and green water, the scenery is very beautiful. Surrounded by green mountains and green mountains, ancient trees towering into the sky, warm and picturesque, green smoke. The lake is like jasper embedded in it, deep and shallow, bit by bit. The mountain breeze is gusts, what a faction of mountains and rivers, the joy of care, if you can enjoy your old age here in your lifetime, isn't it a big event in life, haha, just think about it, don't take it seriously.
9. Qingyin Pavilion to Wannian Temple
Atsixteen o'clock, I left the hotel lightly and first went to Qingyin Pavilion, which is also one of the eight major temples in Mount Emei, which was built by Zen Master Huitong during the reign of Emperor Xizong of Tang, and the temple enshrines Shakyamuni, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Puxian Bodhisattva, etc. The famous scenic spot in the mountains "Shuangqiao Qingyin" is under Qingyin Pavilion, two stone bridges fly, and under the bridge is a clear stream, which is also a good place to take pictures in the mountains. There is a double flying pavilion under the Qingyin Pavilion, and there is a small bridge on the left and right of the pavilion, and the sound of water under the bridge is gushing. There is a stone stele under the pavilion, engraved on it: Eternal Qingyin. Qingyin Pavilion is limited by terrain and is not large, but the nearby mountains and rivers are surrounded by gurgling streams, and the scenery is very beautiful. The temple has a tea house and guest rooms that can provide food and accommodation.
Leaving the temple and walking left on the road to Wannian Temple, it can be reached from the mountain road about four miles away from Qingyin Pavilion, and there are many more shops along the way, and it is also a lot more lively. The White Dragon Cave was built by the Zen master Bechuan during the Ming Jiajing period, rebuilt in the early Qing Dynasty, and the Qing Kangxi Emperor gave scriptures and characters to the temple. There are two halls in front and behind, the front is the three holy halls, which are dedicated to Amitabha Buddha, Dashi Zhi Bodhisattva, and Guanyin Bodhisattva in the west; Behind is the Hall of Great Nobility, which houses the three saints of Shakyamuni, Manjushri Bodhisattva, and Puxian Bodhisattva. I was just about to step into the hall and was shocked by the scene in the hall, my right foot hung in mid-air and did not dare to fall, and the gray-yellow non-slip metal floor tiles were covered with the hall, which looked more luxurious than the gold bricks of the Taihe Hall of the Forbidden City, "powerful, powerful, powerful" I said three times in a row, when I saw the monk on duty walking in the hall, my right foot slowly landed, feeling the experience of walking through the golden (genus) bricks, such a magnificent temple was seen for the first time in my life. This must be the masterpiece of modern people today, what is the purpose of the donor and the presiding builder? Where does the huge amount of money come from? In a place of purity and self-cultivation, how can we talk about not wanting to keep the precepts?
Leaving the Daxiong Treasure Hall to wander on the hillside behind the temple, it is said that Zen Master Bechuan once led his disciples to plant Zhennan next to the temple. He recited the Lotus Sutra, one word at a time, with a circumference of two miles, planting a total of 69,777 trees. Lush forest, green clouds cover the sky, ancient called "Merit Forest". The remaining more than ten ancient nanmu trees, twenty or thirty meters high, are more than 400 years old, leaving a cool world for future generations. On the hillside of the Gongdelin Forest, there was originally a deep hole. Legend has it that it was the place where the White Lady (White Snake) practiced Taoism. Later, due to landslides, the cave was sealed, leaving only some reverie.
10. The first time to sit on the slide
rod Aftervisiting the White Dragon Cave, I was really a little tired, and when I saw the lifting of the slide rod passing by, my heart was a little itchy, and I wanted to experience the feeling of sitting on a slide rod, so I stopped the slide rod, and after bargaining, 180 yuan was carried from halfway to Wannian Temple, and the transaction was made. The Emei Mountain slide pole is a characteristic means of transportation for tourists. Two bamboos about two or three meters long are used as lifting rods, half a meter-long burden is tied to both ends, a sleeping chair is set up in the middle, and a stepping rod is placed in front of the sleeping chair, which constitutes a slide pole that adapts to the mountain road and is comfortable to sit and lie down. In 1935, when Chiang Kai-shek was running an officer training corps in Emei, he traveled on a slider. I sat on the slide pole for the first time in my life, and because it was uphill, so my head was down, my feet were facing the sky, and my heart was a little fluttering, I grabbed the pole with my right hand and competed, for fear of falling, and the sedan chair bearer who carried the pole saw that I was nervous, so he comforted me and said: It's okay, I guarantee you can't fall. My hanging heart eased, and my hands weren't holding on to the pole. The slide rod "crunch" swings up and down with a rhythm, and I half-lie and sit on it to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, and also experience the feeling of sitting on a slide pole, which is interesting.
Themaster who carried the slide pole on the road launched a sales PR for me: what his daughter just was admitted to Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine this year, and the annual fee is 30,000 to 40,000 yuan; Today, your rod is the first and only order; There are many people who carry the slide rod, and they take turns on duty every three days; and so on, proposing to carry me back to Qingyinping from Wannian Temple, I couldn't help but relent, and finally a total of 420 yuan was sold.
The sliding pole master carried me all the way to Wannian Temple, one of the eight major temples of Mount Emei, and the sliding pole master could only wait at the sliding pole station, and I had to climb 214 steps alone to enter the temple to visit. Wannian Temple, located at an altitude of 1,020 meters, is one of the oldest ancient temples in Emei Mountain, Sichuan, and is said to be the place where the old man Dandelion worshipped Buddha in the Han Dynasty; It was founded in the fifth year of Long'an in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (41 AD) and was called Puxian Temple; In the third year of Tang Qianfu (876 AD), Huitong was rebuilt and renamed Baishui Temple; Song Dynasty is called Baishui Puxian Temple; When it was rebuilt in the twenty-eighth year of the Ming Wanli (1600 AD), Ming Shenzong gave the plaque "Shengshou Wannian Temple", which has been called to this day; Wannian Temple is one of the eight major temples in Emei Mountain and one of the key temples in the country, with scenic spots such as the Beamless Brick Hall, the Majestic Treasure Hall, and the White Water Pool. At present, there is a Wannian parking lot near Wannian Temple and Wannian Temple is connected to the Wannian Temple, so many tourists who come to Mount Emei take Wannian Temple as one of the starting points for official mountain climbing from the bottom up, and some tourists use this as the end of the mountain tour.
After leaving the temple, I sat on the slide pole, because it was all the way down the mountain, the view was much wider, and I could have enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way again, but unfortunately it was getting late, and the shops along the way were also lit up, and the tourists on the mountain road gradually decreased. Sit down to the reception pavilion, get out of the sedan and check out. Because it was already dark, there were no street lights along the way to Mount Emei, and the big girl who opened the hotel was afraid that I would not find my way, so she was already waiting for me at the Wang Pavilion and took me back to the hotel to rest.
After I returned to the hotel, I lay on the bed and recalled what I had seen and heard along the way, mixed feelings, the mountain stone road and the mountain road exchanged with each other, the mountain villages were sporadic but not remote, the roadside stalls were 3 yuan for mineral water, the cola was 5 yuan, the villages were connected to the mountain road, the motor vehicles were parked in front of every house, and the larger villages had set up a fairly large farmhouse community, and I didn't feel the quiet environment of the winding paths at all, and I didn't often hear the noise of karaoke, and the spacious but not chic hotels on the side of the road became the main scenery along the way. The temple jungle has become a foil, not like a place to concentrate on practice, but really a veritable tourist resort. Mount Emei is really far from the imaginary scene.
Therestaurants in the nearby mountains have closed early, and I hastily passed the dinner with snacks with me, and after the meal, I used a large hair dryer to dry my sweat-soaked jacket and let it dry.
11. Baiyunxia
On the11th (Saturday), it was already past seven o'clock in the morning when I opened my eyes, so I quickly got up, washed, cleaned up, checked out, and said goodbye to my eldest sister.
The10 yuan bucket of instant noodles at the roadside kiosk solved the breakfast, and the stone pavement on the right side of the Qingyin Pavilion, which had been recuperated, began to climb again. I am no longer alone along the way, tourists abound. I saw that the mountains and forests along the way were green, the streams were clear, and the mountain springs were gurgling, creating a mountain and forest scenery. At the inscription engraved with "Ming Spring", I suddenly found a waterfall flying in front of me like white silk, the water rock splashed, the white mist steamed, and I only felt a chill hit my body.
Along the Heilongjiang River westward up the mountain for two miles, the mountain trail winds and twists on both sides of the river, and when it reaches the extreme depth of "mountains and rivers are suspicious and has no way", it reaches the "first line of sky" and "Black Dragon Plank Road", the second scenery is located in the Baiyun Gorge on the Heilongjiang River, the outside of the gorge is open and clear, the gorge is dangerous and cool, and the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the gorge is large, and the feeling is strong; When I entered the canyon and looked up, I saw two peaks standing upright, with jagged rocks and dangerous walls facing each other, like knives. The steep cliffs on both sides, diagonally inserted into the clouds, through the sparse vines and dense vines, the tips of the branches and leaves, revealing a line of blue sky, more than 200 feet high, about six feet wide, and only three feet at the narrowest point, only allowing two people to pass sideways. I looked up, the sky was high, the branches were hanging and the vine curtains, and the shape of the white clouds and gorges was changing at any time. Some are steep and dangerous, some are slanted, sometimes mountain beams, sometimes ravines, and what is especially lamentable is that the ancient trees and vines are incredibly firmly rooted in the steep stone wall crevices. The mountains and trees are verdant and dripping, and the fragrance fills the gorge, which makes people intoxicated. This scene is the "first line of sky". "Emei One Line of Sky Shallow Song" bows its head to a plank road and looks up to a line of sky; A black and white river flows, winding through a gorge. The Heilongjiang River originates from the Heilongtan under the Jiulao Cave, passes through Hongchunping, reaches Qingyin Pavilion, and merges with the Bailongjiang River into the Emei River.
Under Niuxin Ridge, along the Heilongjiang River westward up the mountain, the mountain trail always winds and twists on both sides of the river. In the old days, walking had to wade back and forth to step on stones and cross the stream, and walk in the rocks, so the common name of this mountain road is "twenty-four feet". Now that the road has been erected on this road, I will not have a situation where my feet are not dry".
Out of the amazing Grand Canyon, I saw the water stream rushing along the way, singing moving songs in the deep mountains and valleys. Concentrate on looking down at the clear stream, jumping waves splashing under the beads, and all kinds of stones and sand grains can be clearly counted. At this time, I have some feelings, this scene is completely different from what I saw yesterday, it is an ideal holy place for practice, no wonder since ancient times literati and writers like to go to the "Land of Heaven" to experience life, why does Mount Emei have so many temples and monks.
12. Encountering the King of the Mountain
Ifound fresh green feces on the road, guessing that the monkey haunt area had arrived, I quickly sorted out my hiking bag, found the snacks prepared for the monkeys in advance and held them in my hands, hid the bottled drinks, fastened all the zippers on the bag and added tether insurance, held the snacks in my left hand, and prepared the trekking poles in my right hand and continued to move forward carefully.
When the monkeys saw that there were tourists here, they slowly came from the guardrail of the plank road, and when they got closer, they rushed at us, as if they were singing a robbery mountain song: "Tie, I opened this mountain, and I planted this tree; If you want to pass by, stay to buy road food; Half of the teeth say no, and the can't dodge." First of all, a little monkey took the snacks from my hand, and the big monkey also slowly walked towards me, I was a little nervous, I was not sure and poured all the snacks on the road and retreated, so the monkeys flocked over, first tried to pick up one and put it in their mouths, and then grabbed a lot of them and stuffed them into their mouths, and the plank road less than three or four feet wide was occupied by the monkeys who picked up food, and the tourists could only stop and watch. Some monkeys were not satisfied with the snacks on the ground, and rushed directly towards the tourists, one of the monkeys jumped on the shoulder of a female tourist, hey it, the female tourist shrank her head and was really afraid to move, other tourists were busy taking pictures, and the monkeys on their shoulders did not jump away until the monkey's paws were stuffed with monkey food.
Monkeys prefer to grab girls in bright clothes, and specialize in grabbing plastic bags in the hands of tourists (because they are easy to grab, they will be sparse when they are dragged), and the plastic bags in the hands of a young girl were snatched by the big monkey, at this time the nearby vendors selling monkey food quickly shouted loudly at the robbed girl: "Don't rob it, it's dangerous, when the monkey finishes turning over, it will throw down the clothes that can't be eaten." At this time, the girl who was robbed stood in place with her hands on her chest and did not dare to move, the monkey tore open the plastic bag and rummaged through the food to eat, and found that there were only clothes, so he threw down the torn plastic bag and clothes, and ran to the next robbery target. Next, two meters away in front of me, the largest monkey grabbed a male tourist's coat tied around his waist with his two front paws, and his two hind legs hugged the male tourist's calf and fell down, the monkey weighed forty or fifty pounds. The male tourist was so frightened that he didn't dare to shout: What can I do? A vendor selling monkey food ran over to the robbed male tourist and said: Hurry up and give it monkey food and let it go, so the vendor handed over a pack of paper bag of monkey food, the male tourist took the monkey food tremblingly, and was snatched by the big monkey before he could hold it firmly, but the big monkey still did not let go of his claws, the vendor said: This is the monkey king has to give two packs of monkey food before letting go, so the vendor took out another bag of monkey food and handed it directly to the other paw of the monkey king, the monkey king has food on both paws, so he let go of the tourists and jumped on the guardrail, tore open the paper bag and stuffed the rice grains in his mouth, The robbery was temporarily terminated. I took the opportunity to speed up my pace, waved my trekking poles in my hand, and quickly escaped from the monkeys with them.
Themonkey food vendor chased the male tourist who had just been robbed to ask for monkey food money, which was a grain of rice, packed in a one-and-a-half-inch square paper bag, 5 yuan a bag, two bags of 10 yuan.
I escaped from the "monkey bandit" robbery area, sat on the side of the road to gasp, recalled the thrilling scene just now, and had lingering fears, strange things The vendor selling monkey food had the bud rice that the monkeys love to eat, why not be robbed by monkeys, and they were not afraid of monkeys. Thinking about it, there is only one possibility:
because these monkeys have been fed by monkey food vendors, and after a long period of domestication, the monkeys subtly know that as long as they climb on the tourists, they will get the rice they love to eat, and in the long run, they subtly form a conditioned reflex. For us tourists, the monkeys that climbed up were smelly and dirty and scratched people everywhere, and there were lice, you had to buy monkey food for the monkeys from the monkey food vendors, and the monkeys were willing to come down, in fact, the monkeys didn't eat seriously at all, and the ground was full of scattered rice grains and didn't pick up food, just cooperated with the monkey food vendors to play a good show of kidnapping tickets to redeem people. As long as unreasonable tourists enter the monkey area, they are likely to be kidnapped by "monkey bandits" and have to pay for monkey food to redeem their lives. In this way, it seems that we are not here to play monkeys at all, on the contrary, we tourists are fat fish that monkey food vendors use monkeys as bait and willing to take the bait.
Therefore, those tourists who have not yet been to the monkey area of Mount Emei must understand that these vendors selling monkey food are profiteers who sell monkey food at high prices with monkeys as their trust. But then again, in fact, I also understand the hardships of these people, their motivation is nothing more than to earn some living expenses, and they must also pay "protection fees" to the manager, but the method is not appropriate, it is all for life! The most fundamental thing is to condemn the managers of Mount Emei for turning a blind eye to profiteers who deceive tourists' money, turning a blind eye to it, and letting it go. Where did such a high ticket of 160 yuan, as well as the fare ranging from 60 to 150 yuan in the scenic spot, and other fees, as well as the huge fees given by the state (said to be 1.6 billion yuan), as well as donations and donations from pilgrims and believers around the world? How can local residents be reduced to a situation where they have to kidnap tourists for a living? Even the Buddhist temple of the Bodhisattva is a mercenary place where deception and the supremacy of money are deceitful, and there is no emotion or faith. If you deceive above, you will be crooked! How out of place this situation is in the beautiful Emei Mountain.
Tips: If tourists are holding food or plastic bottles or plastic bags in their hands. The monkeys will pounce on them to snatch them, and in the eyes of the monkeys, they think that there must be something delicious in them. So when we see the monkey, try not to hold things in your hands, especially plastic bags, put the items in the backpack in advance, fasten the zippers, if you want to feed the monkeys, take out the food in advance and put it in your hands where there are no monkeys, it is best to give all the food in your hands to the monkeys at one time when feeding, never use food to tease the monkeys repeatedly, if the monkey sees you taking things out of your pockets or bags, the monkeys will pounce on you and learn you to rummage things from your pockets and bags, Your backpack is likely to be snatched and torn to pieces by monkeys. But as long as you hold a stick in your hand and wave it at the monkey, don't really fight, don't scream, and don't retreat, it won't come close to you, and the monkey is afraid of the sound of slingshots and the action of throwing stones. If you really hit the monkey, the monkeys will fight back and retaliate against you. The person who is attacked will be bruised all over his body, and there is no chance of winning if his life is in serious danger.
I heard from the locals: There was a famous monkey king in Mount Emei, who specialized in robbing women in beautiful clothes, and often tearing women's clothes, and there were also many women who were scratched, causing a vicious impact on the Emei Mountain Scenic Area. It seriously affects the personal safety of the scenic spot. As a last resort, the public security of Emei Mountain had to kill the notorious monkey king, which was a disaster for the scenic spot.
A local person showed me a video on his mobile phone, a female tourist was afraid and subconsciously kicked the monkey that approached her, and the monkey immediately jumped on the female tourist and grabbed and bitten her, and was bitten by the monkey in thirty-six holes (four holes in one bite), which was miserable. The local residents on the mountain never raise chickens and dogs, and some chickens and dogs that were once raised were torn apart and eaten by monkeys.
It is really a realistic version of the idiom "There are no tigers in the mountains, and monkeys are called kings". Haha, I got it.
13. Hongchun Ping Peak
Afterpassing the monkey area, there are obviously few tourists, check the map and go up about 8 miles from here, and you have to climb more than 3,000 steps to reach Hongchun Ping. There is nothing to think about, continue my journey up the mountain, accompanied by my strong cardiopulmonary activity, sweating, heavy steps, because the slope of the mountain road is very steep, so I will only pay attention to the few steps in front of me, occasionally look up at the road ahead, so that I know how far the mountain road is. I don't know how high and far the mountain is, so I am very confused and panicked, anxious about how long it will take to reach the end. The tourists and porters who came down the mountain said that it would take at least an hour, and I was disappointed, because the porters climbed the mountain every day, as if the time and distance they said could not be regarded as a real reference. On the way, I climbed and climbed, and after an hour and a half of hard journey, I finally saw the original Taoist archway of the "first step of the cave heaven", and Hongchunping, one of the eight temples of Mount Emei, was finally here.
Hongchunping is located on the mountainside at an altitude of 1,120 meters below Tianchi Peak, surrounded by lush forests, and there will be a misty scene like fog and rain in the early morning. There is an ancient temple of the Thousand Buddha Monastery, in addition to worshiping Buddha, it can also provide tourists with good food and accommodation services, and many tourists will stay overnight in the guest hall of the temple. It is said that you can also take a hot bath in the large public bath here, which is a god-like enjoyment for tourists who have climbed the mountain all day. In front of the temple, there were three thousand-year-old Hongchun trees, which is also the origin of Hongchun Ping, and now there are two ancient Hongchun trees in front of the temple, as well as several small Hongchun trees.
There is a dry Buddha Zen monastery built on the flat, as soon as you enter the temple gate, the four dazzling big characters of "Hong Chun Xiaoyu" are displayed horizontally on the silver-gray light, step into the mountain gate, and at noon, turn right and go to the fasting hall first, taste the vegetarian meal, thirty yuan a piece, three vegetarian and one meal, the taste is good, the rapeseed oil taste is quite big, eat a fresh feeling. I used vegetarian food to visit the temple.
Hongchun Temple, originally built by the Song Dynasty monk Chushan Xingyi Zen Master, was formerly known as the Thousand Buddha Zen Monastery, also known as the Thousand Buddha Monastery. It was built in the fourth year of Ming Chongzhen and destroyed by fire in the forty-third year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. In the 55th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1790), Zen Master Eyun was rebuilt. Because there are three ancient Hongchun trees in front of the temple, the rebuilt temple is also called Hongchun Ping. These three Hongchun trees, one of which was in the south of the temple, was burned in that fire, but the dead wood has not fallen to this day; the other is on the edge of a high rock, falling down the mountain in a rock collapse about a hundred years ago; The last one is in the dense forest to the left of the temple gate and still exists today. This Hongchun has been identified by experts as being at least 1,500 years old and is regarded as a long-lived tree. The Hongchun tree is a deciduous tree of the Acadaceae family, with a chest diameter of about several people and a height of three to four zhang. Legend has it that flowers bloom once every five hundred years and bear fruit once every five hundred years. Hongchun Temple has three halls, which are majestic and spectacular. The corridor is simple, spacious and spacious. Hongchun Temple has a construction area of more than 5,000 square meters, and the main buildings include Guanyin Hall, Thousand Buddha Building, Linsen Courtyard, Zen Hall, Monk House, etc. In the Hall of Great Glory Treasures, there is a statue of Puxian, with statues of eighteen Arhats on either side, all of which are exquisitely carved. There is a treasure in the sutra building, that is, a seven-sided thousand Buddha lotus lamp hanging in the building, carved and decorated with sandalwood. It is nearly six feet high, three feet in diameter, with seven square angles and hundreds of Buddha statues carved up and down. There are nine dragon plate pillars on the seven-square-angle pillars, which are also engraved with cloud dragon monsters and mythological story patterns, exquisitely on all sides, hundreds of vivid and lively characters, forming a picture of mythological stories, which is a rare artistic treasure in the world. It is also rare for Buddhism and Taoism to coexist peacefully on the lamp. The Seven Directions Thousand Buddha Lotus Lamp is ingeniously designed, exquisitely crafted, and commendable, and is one of the treasures of art in the temple. It is said that it was made by the monk Faneng at the end of the Qing Dynasty.
There is a clear spring in front of the Guanyin Hall, sweet and clear, known as the "Tin Cane Spring". According to legend, the incense in the Ming Dynasty was vigorous, and the monks gathered, and the number of monks in the temple was as high as more than 1,000. However, there was a shortage of water in the temple, and Master Dexin led his disciples to dig mountains and open streams to attract spring water from Tianchi Peak, and later generations mythologized this matter, saying that the master hit the cliff with his Zen staff in his hand, while chanting words in his mouth, although the spring water gushed out from the ground, and the reputation of "Tin Cane Spring" spread from here.
I admire the couplets of No. 4 Middle School the most: "A grain of rice hides the world, and half a pot cooks the world" and "Laugh when you open your mouth, laugh at the past and laugh at the present, and laugh at everything; The couplet of "the big belly can tolerate, the sky and the earth, and what is not tolerated with oneself", is even more solemn and enlightening.
It was noon, and it was a pity that "Hong Chun Xiaoyu", one of the ten views of Emei, could not be presented.
14. Ninety-nine roads Bay
Thirty miles up to Xianfeng Temple on this land, there are more than 7,000 steps, and Emei's ninety-nine bends are in it; I drove Gao Er to play the mountain road as far as the eye could see, and at this time the slide pole had long since disappeared, who could I rely on the road I chose? Fate can only depend on oneself.
Ninety-nine Road Bay, also known as Shouxing Slope, starts from Shouxing Bridge and ends at Lingxiaoting, with an altitude of more than 300 meters, winding around five miles, about 69 turns, a total of more than 1,840 stone steps.
Legend has it that when Puxian came to Mount Emei to build a dojo, when he passed through this place, he saw that the mountains here were steep, steep and slippery, and extremely dangerous, so he instructed the Bodhisattva of the Spiritual Ancestor to command the three thousand strongmen to accompany him at the same time, each of whom built a step, and the three thousand stone steps were completed in an instant.
I stopped and walked, the road spiraled up in the mountains, the green mountains on both sides, the mountains were stacked, the air was fresh, and the environment was beautiful and quiet. The higher you go, the steeper the mountain becomes. The peaks twist and turn, the stream is deep and the valley is secluded, thousands of ravines are flowing, and the sound of water is gurgling. Turning one after another, one slope after another, looking at one slope to the end, suddenly the peak turns, and it is another slope. The scenery of green shade all over the mountains can't help but make people feel refreshed and dilute the fatigue of mountaineering. I thought to myself that with every step I take, I got closer to my goal. Grit your teeth and walk slowly.
After all the hard work, I finally climbed to the end of the ninety-nine turns - Lingxiaoting. There is also a small shop and tea shed here for resting and sharpening. After I took a nap, I continued on my way, there were still ten miles away from Xianfeng Temple, and not far away was a long slope - Leper Slope. The locals are really smart and funny, just after the baptism of ninety-nine turns, and then come to a long slope like a fool, which makes people feel bitter and indescribable.
I also tried to climb slowly step by step according to the rhythm of the monk, but I always couldn't grasp the rhythm, and I accelerated the rhythm when I walked, and then stopped and gasped, it seemed that I didn't practice enough, and I wanted to experience more. A discarded cotton coat on the side of the road, the monk said: It was thrown by a monkey. Oh, I don't know which tourist was robbed by the mountain king, and the top of the mountain can only rent a coat to keep out the cold.
Sure enough, two monkeys on the guardrail of the mountain road more than three feet wide were far away, staring straight at me, looking forward to tourists passing through his territory. I stopped, first slowly breathed well, clenched the trekking poles, and then slowly approached the monkeys, when I was less than five feet away from the monkeys, one of the monkeys first bared their teeth at me as usual, and then wanted to jump up, I didn't dare to neglect it, and pointed to the toothed monkey with the hiking pole in my hand, the monkey saw that there was a stick stretched out on the guardrail and did not jump, but after demonstrating to me again on the spot, he sat on the guardrail and kept staring at me, I kept pointing at the monkey with my trekking poles, and I didn't move there, and I confronted each other like this for half a minute, I thought it was not a matter of how to consume it, I had to get out of the road as soon as possible, so I patted my hands and spread them out to the monkey, and said three times: "No", while speaking, I kept pointing at the monkey with my trekking poles, kept a distance of three or four feet from the monkey, and slowly left, fortunately the monkey may have understood my gestures and did not follow, but I was not at ease, and I turned around in three steps, until I couldn't see the monkey, and my hanging heart fell to the ground at this moment. You can't stay here for a long time, just take a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
Climbing up to the leprosy slope, it is a fairy cloud swirling and suddenly enlightened. I can't tell if this is a fairyland or a human world. I know that Xianfeng Temple is coming.
15. Stay at Xianfeng Temple
Atsixteen o'clock, climb to Xianfeng Temple, one of the eight major temples of Mount Emei, look at the temple introduction in the square in front of the temple, and find that there is a helipad in the square in front of the temple, and the roar of planes can be heard in the distance.
I really can't walk anymore, so I consulted the Xianfeng Temple check-in standards, there is a room with a separate bathroom for 600 yuan, I choose 200 yuan per night, there is a TV, but there is no independent bathroom single room, fortunately there is free wireless LAN, a waitress under thirty years old took the key to room 102, first led me to identify the location of the restaurant, public bathroom, boiling water room, and then took me to the room, opened the door, the room was dark, and a cool smell of moisture came to my face. The waiter guided me to turn on the light in the room and left in a hurry. I looked around the room with an area of less than nine square meters, a 1.5-meter double bed, two chairs, a two-drawer table, and a 29-inch TV. I put down my hiking bag, lifted the quilt and found that there was an electric mattress, immediately plugged in the power, turned on the switch, dried the damp bedding, took off my shoes, let go of the leggings, half lay on the bed, completely relaxed my sore legs, lay down for a while and looked at the watch at sixteen o'clock, it was still early before the dinner time of eighteen o'clock, so I took out my mobile phone to play a game, and it took about thirty minutes to write "Essay on Mount Emei". Unknowingly, when I reached the opening of the meal, I took the thermos cup, followed the route guided by the original waiter, dragged my painful legs, and limped to the dining hall. The dining hall is very large, I am the only diner, looking at the recipe on this wall, there are less than 30 dishes, I ordered a fish-flavored eggplant (¥20.00), yellow vegetables (¥20.00), a bowl of rice (¥2.00), and I can only pay in cash. The meal was served quickly, not only can you not use meat meat, but also you can't use a lot of seasonings, such as green onions, ginger, garlic and other spices, but you can use chili peppers to taste, it is estimated that the taste will not be very good, episode: I saw that the stir-fry chef couldn't turn the eggs over when spreading yellow vegetables, this cooking skill is similar to mine.
I was really hungry, I ate it quickly, the salt of the yellow cabbage was not even, a mouthful of salty, a mouthful of light, the fish-flavored eggplant was made of vinegar and eggplant, the eggplant skin was not fried thoroughly, and it was hard to chew, so let's make do with it. While eating and thinking about the hatred couple here, when they met this cook, "it was even lighter".
After dinner, visit Xianfeng Temple, which is located under the Xianfeng Rock of Emei Mountain, formerly known as Ciyan Temple, with an altitude of 1,725 meters and a gate to welcome Huayan Peak; The temple was founded in the eighteenth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1281 AD), and was originally a small hermitage; At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the temple built a scripture building dedicated to storing the Tripitaka given by Emperor Ming Shenzong, and in the fortieth year of Wanli (1612 AD), Zen Master Benjiong expanded it into a large temple, called "Xianfeng Zen Forest"; In the sixteenth year of Ming Chongzhen (1643 AD), it was destroyed by fire, and in the forty-fourth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1779 AD), Tai'an and Yusheng monks rebuilt it again, named "Xianfeng Temple" and is still in use today.
The first hall of Xianfeng Temple was originally the God of Wealth, but was later changed to Maitreya Bodhisattva and called Maitreya Hall. Now it has been changed to the God of Wealth. The plaque "Xianfeng Zen Forest". There is a couplet "Ask the nine elders where they flew from, a blue cloud and sky shadow is quiet; Wu Sancheng looks at the sky from afar, and there are many Buddha lights in the four mountains and bright moons", etc. Four wooden screens are hung on the left wall of the hall, briefly describing the history of Xianfeng Temple and the legend of Jiulao Cave.
The second hall is the Hall of Great Nobility, which is dedicated to Shakyamuni Buddha, eighteen Arhats on both sides, and Amitabha Buddha, Manjushri Bodhisattva, Puxian Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, Sunlight Bodhisattva, and Moonlight Bodhisattva, all of which are Buddha statues without veil. There is a couplet in it: "There are high mountains here, dense forests and bamboos, and some benevolent clouds outside the peak, often sheltering the glass world; May people come out of the sea of evil, the famous field is profitable, the treasure raft is supported in front of the cave entrance, and hundreds of millions of living beings are saved."
The third hall is the Hall of Relics, which enshrines the Buddha statue of the Medicine Buddha carved from white jade. There is a relic copper pagoda, six squares and seven floors, three high. Six meters, covered with gold, shining gold.
After the visit, I returned to the room and lay on the bed to continue writing "Essay on Mount Emei". Looking back on today's mountaineering trip, the natural environment is no longer as noisy and impetuous as yesterday, and the sound of flowing water, birdsong, leaves and trekking poles hitting the stone pavement sounds so harmonious and beautiful, so natural, as if I am in a long scroll of a huge landscape painting, in which I enjoy the landscape, temples, white clouds, blue sky and self and all the beautiful scenes, quite emotional and faint understanding.
I don'tknow how long my physical fitness can support, I don't know how high the mountain of life I want to climb is, I don't know if the road of fate in the future is steep, I can only see the road a few steps or more than a dozen steps away. As for where the top of the mountain is, we don't know, as if the ultimate meaning of life is, but we don't understand, what we have spent our lives pursuing, is also a blur.
In climbing the mountain, if there is a small goal, such as walking through this mountain or that mountain, there will be a determination in your heart. If you know that there are only five minutes ahead, fatigue will decrease and your heart will be excited. More often, it is a kind of confusion that is still on the road. It seems that this year I said that I want to complete something, count it as a small goal, I have achieved it, I have given myself an explanation, and I will let go of my heart for a while, lovers, children, houses, cars, travel, etc., all of which are the same. Then, he embarked on the road of climbing and finding another mountain, and the cycle went back and forth, and there was still no end.
When I was resting, I looked back at the bottom of the mountain, but found that I still climbed out of the mountain, the winding stream at the bottom of the mountain, the mountain road hidden in the dense forest, the surrounding green mountains, and the sky in the distance. But in the face of such a beautiful scenery, but there is not much time to appreciate this beauty, I want to grit my teeth and persevere, thinking about how far I have to go, and my mind is full of thinking about climbing to the top of the mountain as soon as possible. Isn't this a metaphor for life? What is the true beauty of life? Shouldn't it be feelings and experiences, experiences and feelings? But it seems that the future, vanity, fame and fortune carried are the goals that life should pursue, what is the book? What is the end? Are we putting the cart before the horse too often?
Unknowingly, it was half past twenty-two, and my eyelids began to fight, I was sleepy, go to sleep, and I had nothing to say all night.
16. Encounter Hong Chun Xiaoyu
Getup at 8 a.m. on the 11th, at this time there was a sound of ticking rain outside the window, and looked out along the corridor balcony, in the mountains and forests, on the stone flats, and in the courtyard, there was a falling "morning rain". This "morning rain" is like rain but not rain, like fog but not fog, pavilions, halls, flowers and trees, mountains and rocks, pedestrians, and courtyards, everything seems to be drifting in a confused realm, presenting an ethereal hazy beauty. When I walked to the courtyard, I felt as if my whole body was wet by the "morning rain", but when I stroked my clothes, there was no trace of being soaked by the rain, but I suddenly felt cool. Isn't this "Hong Chun Xiaoyu"? The so-called "morning rain", scientists explain, is the saturated humidity in the mountains and forests, and the moisture that evaporates after cooling in the cool night condenses into raindrops on trees and buildings.
This rain made me understand: the beauty of the scenery here is to watch the "rain" that seems to be rain but not rain in the morning, and to play with the fun of "emerald wet clothes". As the Tang Dynasty landscape poet Wang Wei sang in "Two Poems of Que Ti": The mountain road is rainless, and the empty green wets people's clothes. It really takes no effort to step on the iron shoes and find nowhere to get it, and the "Hong Chun Xiaoyu" that was originally missed in Hongchun Ping was met by chance at Xianfeng Temple. Mount Emei is really worthy of my infatuation with you, thank you Mount Emei for the icing on the cake for my trip.
Checking out at 8:30, leaving the temple was first a long journey down the mountain, and the sound of dripping rain accompanied me all the way.
It's a different feeling from yesterday's going up the mountain. There is no strong cardiopulmonary load, there is not so much sweat, but there is another kind of pain, that is, the pain of the knees and muscles, because of the weight bearing, because the stone road on the soles of the feet is hard and slippery, so it is easy to lean forward, easy to slip, every step of the knees bear the impact of weight, all want to walk steadily, don't fall, don't fall into the deep ditch next to it, the muscles of the legs are in a state of tension all the time, but it is also another kind of trembling. When I have now entered the age of knowing my destiny, the second half of my life may be such an experience. I don't have to load so much, but I find that the second half of my life is just as difficult as my current energy and physical strength, and I am also trembling every step because there are too many uncertainties and troubles. And the longer I go down the mountain, the more I feel that my legs are not my own, my calves cramp and tremble, my thighs are sore and swollen, and my steps seem to be constrained by the environment. In old age, life is slowly held hostage by the aging of the body, and it is slowly no longer under the control of one's own consciousness, which is really similar to going down the mountain.
Theend of the downhill road is a canyon located between two mountains, a simple and dilapidated stone bridge between the canyon - Changshou Bridge, the canyon is especially full of green mountains and turquoise, the stream under the stone bridge is clear, and the thatched huts next to the bridge are dilapidated, leaving only a stone monument standing alone on the side of the road.
17. The king of the mountain asked for help from the elephant washing pool
Therewere several collapsed sections through the canyon, and it was very dangerous and tense to walk in it. Now I borrow Li Shangyin's poem "Troubled Stones" to express the mood at this time: "The tiger squats and the dragon squats, and the starlight gradually decreases and rain marks appear." There is no need to hinder the east-west road, cry to kill the kitchen head Ruan Infantry (scare to kill the lonely wanderer)." After this section, the difficult uphill mountain road began, this section is called Changshou Slope, on the way I heard the sound of sweeping the floor, although I only heard the sound and did not see the person, but invisibly also hit me a few guts, knowing that it was not far from the point, about ten minutes of walking, I finally saw a mountain man cleaning the fallen leaves on the stone road, I walked in to inquire about the journey of Yuxian Temple, he told me that it was not far ahead, and pointed to the looming red building on the top of the opposite mountain, that is, the elephant washing pool, which seemed not far away but actually took two hours to walk. I thought there was hope, and gritted my teeth at Yuxian Temple to rest and replenish my energy.
Continuing to climb, the mountain road turned left and right, and suddenly I saw a few monkeys walking down the mountain road, I immediately stopped, stared at the monkeys, raised my trekking poles, and prepared for precautions, at this time my heart was in my throat. These monkeys didn't seem to be interested in me at all, they swaggered past me, didn't even look at me, only shook me a few times with a side face, didn't treat me as their dish, and wandered around leisurely, so hurt human self-esteem. But I really didn't dare to be careless in the slightest, I kept staring at the monkeys, and the trekking poles in my hand were always in a precautionary posture, and when the monkeys walked away, there was finally no danger, so I breathed a sigh of relief, calmed down and continued to hurry. It didn't take a while to arrive at Yuxian Temple.
Yuxian Temple is located at the waist of Changshou Slope and is a cliffside temple built in the first year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1862), which is very small in scale, but the surrounding environment is extremely beautiful, often in the clouds and mist, like an ethereal landscape painting. The temple can provide vegetarian meals and hot water for visitors, making it a great place to rest. Behind the temple is a cave called "Yuxian Cave". There are many ancient vines on the rocks around the temple, known as the "Puxian Line". Legend has it that Puxian Bodhisattva deliberately left these vines on the cliff of the hanging rock to guide tourists to climb to the top.Yuxian Temple has several rooms to stay in, which can provide tipping accommodation for passing tourists. Because I already had a little altitude sickness, I bought a bottle of Coca-Cola for ten yuan to alleviate the need for altitude sickness.
It is about three miles from here to Jiulinggang, and it is expected to be half an hour's journey. After a short rest at Yuxian Temple, he continued on his way. There is a small restaurant on the way to stay in Dajiang.
At 10:30 a.m., I walked to Jiulinggang, Jiulinggang is located on the west side of Huayan Peak, about 1900 meters above sea level, which is an important transportation hub of the Emei Mountaineering Route, which is the turn of the first and second roads. Modern playwright Zhao Xunbo said: "There are nine main peaks of the ridge, and the mountains from Hexian Peak to this are named." Jiulinggang used to have Guozhe and Yongyan temples, but they no longer exist. There is a farmhouse in Jiulinggang, and tourists can stay at the top of the list.
Not far after Jiulinggang is the drill sky, which has a steep slope before Jiulinggang and the elephant washing pool. This section of the mountain road is about five miles long, with a vertical height of 300 meters, which is equivalent to a hundred stories high, about 32 folds, nearly 1,500 stone steps, the slope is very steep, the steepest point is close to 80 degrees, and its rocks are rugged, like a ladder to the sky, commonly known as "partridge drilling the sky". This is also the most masochistic part of Mount Emei, which comprehensively tests my physical strength, endurance and courage. Because the mountain is steep, there are no canteens, toilets, etc. on this road, so you need to bring your own dry food and drinking water. If you have a fear of heights, it is recommended not to look down on the way, as the slope is too steep and can cause discomfort. Neighbors wrote to Chu's poem "Drilling the Sky Slope": "The old man gambles with all his strength to invite travel, and laughs at Dongpo in Huizhou." Just like the road below the pine breeze pavilion, I see the hearts of people hanging off the fishhook.
Luo Jialun's poem "Drilling the Sky Slope is a Thing" says: "The micro body was originally sent to the sea of Dadong, and the Zen heart of serving the country is the same." The novice monk in the clouds frequently combines ten, drilling into the sky to deliver poetry tubes.
Occasionally, I encountered young fellow travelers climbing the mountain on the road, and they climbed faster, surpassing me naturally. But I know my ability, I can't be fast, and I won't chase it desperately. I won't desperately follow in the footsteps of others now, because everyone's rhythm is different. It's impossible to follow, just go at your own pace.
Although it was autumn and winter, the temperature was less than 10 degrees, but I was still sweating profusely, and the inner layer of the rainproof jacket had already been soaked with sweat, so I simply took off my jacket and flipped it over to hang on my hiking bag, and then continued to grit my teeth and climb slowly.
When I walked less than two meters away from it, it first bared its canines at me and threatened me, and then got up and jumped, ready to pounce on me, I immediately raised the trekking pole in my hand and swung it at the female monkey, the trekking pole was collected at a distance of half a meter away from it, the female monkey immediately retracted and jumped, bluffed by the trekking pole, flashed sideways to the side of the mountain road, and I quickly flashed sideways from the other side of the mountain road. But the girl was determined to eat me, about five meters behind me, I walked it, I stopped it. I am carrying a heavy load, it is empty-handed, I am gasping and panting, it is walking in front of the hall, I am sparsely sparse, it is familiar with the road, and God is too unfair. I thought to myself that I was caught by the mother monkey, if I followed all the way and attacked me from behind, I would have to be blind today. I thought about it again, I wanted to collect some money to buy roads on other people's territory, from the Buddha to the thunder and the city devils, and I couldn't help them. Even if I don't dare to hit people, let alone beat people, I can scare and scare them, since I don't have anything to eat for the King of Xiaojing Mountain, then it's better to go with thirty-six strategies and hurry up. Fortunately, this place is not far from the Xixiang Pool, I fled panting and rolling and crawling to one of the eight temples of Mount Emei - the Xixiang Pool, entered the mountain gate and saw an open canteen, someone must have hurried in to ask for help, and entered the house to see a young woman about thirty years old sitting in the room leisurely looking at her mobile phone, my hanging heart seemed to fall. At this time, the female monkey who had been following me also entered the monastery, but she didn't dare to enter the house, just sat two meters away from the entrance of the canteen and waited, and she was very persistent and calm.
Theyoung woman in the canteen heard that a monkey had entered the temple, and without saying a word, she picked up a wooden stick with a two-foot-long bowl and rushed out of the room, the young woman's momentum surprised me, the female monkey saw this, jumped over the guardrail, and went down the steep wall and instantly fell without a trace. When the young woman returned to the house, I asked the young woman: "Why are the monkeys so afraid of you?" She said: "The monkeys are too troublesome, you didn't see that the tiles on the house are all made of iron plates." I understand in my heart, "don't hit the house for three days", is another realistic version of the idiom, which can be used on them, and it is estimated that the tributes in the Buddhist hall have been harmed by the mountain king, so it is really a dream to clean up. The monkeys of Mount Emei are really worthy of the name of the monkey Monkey Sun Wukong's disciples.
Xixiang Pool is one of the eight major temples in Emei, with an altitude of 2070 meters, surrounded by white clouds, towering ancient trees, like a clear autumn moon shining high, all sounds are silent, the clear light is infinite, looking up at the stars, fluttering like a fairy. "Elephant Pond Night Moon" is the famous scenery here. At night, the bright moon is in the sky, the moonlight is reflected in the pool, the water and sky are the same, and the scenery is beautiful.
The scale of the building is large, covering an area of 3,600 square meters. Inside the hall, worships are made to Guanyin, Ksitigarbha, and the Great Trend. The clothes are elegant and the posture is dignified.
The first hall is the Maitreya Hall, which enshrines the Maitreya Buddha statue two meters high, and behind the hall is the statue of the golden protector Wei Tuo Bodhisattva. On both sides of the hall are guest halls, which contain twelve nanmu chairs presented by General Feng Yuxiang, a patriotic general during the Republic of China, with the inscription "Advocating Buddhism, Improving People's Hearts, Sincere Unity, and Achieving Peace" on the back of the chairs.
The second hall is the Hall of Great Nobility, which was built in 1983. The hall enshrines the Bodhisattva of Puxian riding an elephant with a golden body, flanked by eighteen arhats who have taken off their veils. Behind the hall are the three saints of the West, and the golden body stands on the lotus platform, about three meters high.
The third hall is the Guanyin Hall, dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, and 20 portraits of Guanyin Bodhisattva are hung on both walls.
The temple collection of the Elephant Washing Pool is relatively rich, and there is a porcelain statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva on the upper floor of the sutra, with a seat about a foot high and well-made. At the same time, there are other precious cultural relics.
Passing through the temple, there are several inns still open behind the temple. After a short rest, I left the elephant washing pool at thirteen o'clock and continued to move forward.
Eighteen Continuous climbing
Afterpassing the Xixiang Pool is the Luohan Slope, located on the back mountain of the Xixiang Pool, the slope is three miles long, about 21 folds, and more than 1,300 stone levels. Legend has it that a group of Arhats appeared here and brought prosperous incense to the Elephant Washing Pool, hence the name. There are a few scattered farm shops in the middle of the slope where you can eat and shop, and the items sold are just a few, no more than 20 kinds of drinks, towels, flat-heeled shoes, several snacks, etc., the time has passed lunch time, and there are some overdrafts of physical strength, and the snacks brought with them have also been exhausted, so I stopped to sit down in a small shop to replenish my energy, ordered a fried pork with fresh bamboo shoots, a bowl of hot noodle soup, and took the opportunity to adjust and rest. During the meal, I listened to Xiao Liben'er in the store: It has just snowed on the mountain, the mountain road is very slippery, and I asked me to buy the "tiger claw" in their store anti-slip, ten yuan a pair, although it is not expensive, but I see that the weather has no signs of snow, and I am wearing non-slip hiking shoes and politely declined.
After resting for a while after the meal, I continued to climb the slope slowly, and I don't know how long I climbed, and finally saw the flat ground, and there were three or four miles of gentle mountain road behind Luohan Slope, and it was very easy to walk, and I strolled over without resting.
But the good times did not last long, and the slope was located between the former site of the Mahayana Temple and the Baiyun Pavilion, commonly known as the "Yama Slope", which is the only way to pass from the Xiangxiang Pool to Leidongping. Lianwang Slope is 2,000 meters long, about 13 folds, about 1,100 stone steps; There is a dangerous road on the slope called Hu Seng Ladder, also known as Lingyun Ladder and Monkey Ladder - legend has it that in the past, Hu monks tied wood and stones to guide travelers, hence the name. Fan Chengda, a famous poet of the Southern Song Dynasty, has a poem "Hu Sun Ladder": "The wooden steps are slippery with mud, and the slight tilt is suppressed." I still have passed through the sorrowful places of the Hu Sun, but fortunately, there are ladders in the valley.
This climb is described in one word: "climbing". The feeling at that time was also one word: "tired". At that time, I gritted my teeth and had a belief: I can only move forward, never backward. Walking and resting, crawling and stopping, at sixteen o'clock in the afternoon, Yama Slope was finally left behind, and Leidongping could be reached.
Leidongping is one of the scenic spots of Mount Emei, located on Lianwang Slope, at an altitude of 2430 meters. There is a temple on the flat called Lingjue Temple, known as the Thunder God Temple in ancient times, which is said to have been built during the Han Dynasty. In the middle of the first floor, there is a statue of Maitreya, which is simple and solemn. There is a pavilion on the right side of the temple, with a stone wall in front of the pavilion, and the three characters "Leidong Pavilion" are engraved in seal script. There is a silent iron monument on the side of Leidongping, which prohibits tourists from making loud noises, otherwise thunder and lightning will break out, and the wind and rain will break. According to legend, there are seventy-two caves under the rock, where the dragon god and the thunder god live, and in case of drought, the villagers come here to pray for rain, and throw dead pigs and dogs or women's clothes, shoes and socks under the rock, often thunderstorms.
The temple also opened a hotel, a luxury single room, which was not expensive, 200 yuan (much more affordable than Xianfeng Temple), and was run by the monk himself. There are also many homestays in Leidongping, and the price is okay, about 150 yuan for a single room. After thinking about it, I hesitated again and again, and in order to ensure that I could get up early to see the sunrise over Mount Emei, I decided to rush to the Jiyin Hall and take the cable car to the Golden Peak for the night.
I resisted altitude sickness, gritted my teeth, dragged my sore legs, and forced myself to move forward for Sanhuali, and finally arrived at the Jieyin Hall, had no intention of visiting, and went straight to the cable car station, glad to catch the last cable car. I am the only one in the Golden Peak Ropeway Cable Car that can accommodate 100 people, and I am treated as a VIP. The passenger ropeway, with a total length of 1,168 meters, is directly from the reception hall at an altitude of 2,540 meters to the Woyun Monastery at an altitude of 3,048 meters, which is currently one of the highest passenger ropeways in our country with the highest altitude, the longest single span, the largest slope, good equipment, safety and comfort. I sat in the cable car car, walking through the clouds and mist with the cable car, looking down at the mountains, the green clouds overlapped, the sky was blue, the white clouds were ethereal, and the strange veil was transformed, just like thousands of horses galloping, what a beautiful scenery.
When I arrived at the top of the mountain, it was already dark, the first thing was to find a place to stay, I was going to sleep on the mountain late, fortunately, there was still a room in Jinding Villa, 580 yuan per night for a double standard room without a separate bathroom, and it was more expensive, so make do with it. After settling down in the room, I went to the restaurant on the first floor and ordered two dishes, ants on the tree, fried leeks with dried tofu, a serving of rice, I didn't dare to ask for wine because of slight altitude sickness, coupled with excessive physical exhaustion and fatigue, the meal that should have been quite delicious was no longer in my mouth at this time, and even chewing was weak, and I had a hard time solving the dinner that night.
After dinner, I wanted to take a walk on the top of the mountain, regain my strength, and also enjoy the bright night sky of Mount Emei, so I walked out of the villa and walked slowly on the stone road at an altitude of 3,000 meters, yesterday it did snow on the mountain, and the snow on some paths had not completely melted away (the vendors on the way were not wrong), at this time the temperature in autumn and winter was only eight or nine degrees Celsius, although there was no wind, but it was still cold, and it didn't take long for me to be cold, a little shivering, so I quickly retracted to the hotel room, plugged in the electric mattress, Get into the quilt to recuperate and prepare for tomorrow's final summit battle.
19 Golden Peak Sunrise
On themorning of the 12th, before dawn, I suddenly woke up, looked at the watch at 6:26, got up, quickly put on all the clothes I brought up the mountain, only took the trekking poles and quickly left the villa, the night sky of Mount Emei twinkled, the moon didn't know where to hide, I was the only one on the way to the Golden Peak, only a shop had just set up a stall, and the sunrise time was about 7:20, and I looked at the watch at 6:40, which was still early. But there was nothing else to do at this time, so I staggered along the steps to the observation deck at the top of the mountain, because of altitude sickness, there were non-stop steps along the way, I was out of breath, the muscles in my legs were extremely sore, and I took three steps to rest when climbing the steps, stopped every five steps, and only moved to the sunrise observatory at about seven o'clock. At this time, there were very few tourists on the observation deck, and I found an uninhabited stone bench, so I sat down and didn't want to move a step. After a while, the tourists who came up from the reception hall by cable car arrived at the observatory in batches, and some of the tourists who had met on the way took the initiative to greet me, and they may have been impressed by a half-grown old man who climbed the mountain alone, and I also politely returned the salute and greeted each other.
At 7:22, suddenly, the crowd became agitated, it turned out that the dawn broke in the east, and the beautiful morning sun gradually leaked out of the sea of eastern clouds its bright smiling face, getting rounder and getting rounder, more and more beautiful, higher and higher, the glow was shining, and the sky was getting brighter and brighter. "The country is so delicate, attracting countless heroes to bend their waists" At this moment, only Mao Gong's majestic poems can interpret people's moods. A new day has begun, but other things in front of me have not been able to start again, it is still the same as yesterday.
The old temple on the top of the mountain still stands majestically, the giant sculpture of the Ten Directions Puxian stands in the center of the square, and a magnificent Guanyin Bodhisattva Hall (Silver Hall) on the left side of the square is about to be restored, and the renovated Guanyin Hall is said to have been built with donations from pilgrims. The newly built pavilion of the morning bell and evening drum also leaked out the prototype under construction, and the main frame of the Emei Mountain archway in front of the square has also been completed, just waiting for external decoration. Eight six-toothed white elephant camel artifacts on the worship path are arranged on both sides, and the newly built Golden Dome Huazang Temple is built on the mountain, with three halls distributed from low to high on the central axis. The Copper Hall and Huazang Temple were destroyed by fire many times.
The first hall is the Maitreya Hall. On the door of the hall hangs a gold plaque inscribed by Mr. Zhao Puchu of "Huazang Temple". The temple enshrines a bronze Maitreya Buddha statue, and behind it is a bronze statue of Wei Tuo. There are also cultural relics such as three-legged bronze tripods and bronze steles from the Ming Dynasty and Wanli periods in the hall.
The second hall is the Hall of Great Glory. The hall enshrines three Buddhas with a bronze golden body, sitting three meters high. There are also bronze rocks, bronze bells and other magic instruments, as well as Buddhist cultural relics such as bronze casting statues and bronze statues of Puxian.
The third hall is the Puxian Hall, that is, the Golden Hall and the Golden Dome, which is the highest hall in Mount Emei. The plaques on the gate of the palace include "Golden Dome", "Endless Wishes", "Puxian Wish Sea", "Huazang Solemnity", etc., inscribed on Zhao Puchu, Ben Huan, Ming Chang, etc. The hall enshrines a bronze statue of Puxian riding an elephant, Puxian sits on the lotus platform, holding a ruyi in his hand, the lotus platform is placed on the back of the elephant, and the white elephant steps on four lotus flowers. The entire statue is cast in copper and is thirteen feet high. There are also bronze tripods and other objects in the hall.
I walked to the front of the central axis of the square, facing the front of the sculpture of the Ten Directions Puxian, with my back to the white jade guardrail, staring at the sculpture, thinking about Buddhism, as a foreign culture, has been rooted in China for nearly 2,000 years, although it has gone through hardships, but it has flourished for a long time, on the contrary, India, as the birthplace of Buddhism, Buddhism is declining day by day, what is this cause and effect?
First of all, in the words analyzed by contemporary Master Jingkong: perhaps the concept of Buddhism is the same as that of this place in China, and the root of traditional Chinese culture Confucianism is filial piety and filial piety and respect for teachers. The root of Buddhism is also filial piety and respect for teachers, so Buddhism spread to China, and the Chinese government and the opposition felt that rare goods could be used by me, and then listened to their lectures, and their ideological system was more detailed in some parts than our Chinese Confucianism. At the same time, Chinese people are very tolerant and can assimilate and tolerate foreign cultures, such as the Xiongnu, South Vietnamese, Turks, Jurchens, etc. Buddhist culture also enriches China's local culture, complements each other, and gradually evolves into China's unique Buddhist culture.
In addition, especially the emperor's transformation of Buddhism at the highest level of the ruling class. At the beginning, Buddhism advocated the idea of the supremacy of theocracy, the four major emptiness, the spiritual equality of all living beings, and the unity of church and state (a bit like Tibet before 1965, where religious leaders were also the supreme rulers of the country). This is in opposition to the Legalist and Confucian ideas of the supremacy of family hereditary imperial power that have been solidified since the Qin and Han dynasties, and has shaken the foundation of Chinese Confucianism, and Buddhist thought is tantamount to inciting believers to make war. As a result, it led to the catastrophe of Buddhists, such as four major Buddhist extermination events in history: Emperor Taiwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty destroyed the Buddha, Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty destroyed the Buddha, Tang Wuzong destroyed the Buddha, and Later Zhou Shizong destroyed the Buddha. As a result of the destruction of Buddhism, Buddhists in the Central Plains did not dare to intervene in politics in order to survive. And Buddhism has completely evolved into an ideological tool for the ruling class to alleviate class contradictions, and the functions of Buddhism have changed, paying more and more attention to content that is out of the mundane world. Temples became a refuge for people to escape the world and seek spiritual sustenance.
In today's society, no matter how brilliant and majestic the sculptures of the ten directions are, no matter how dazzling the golden dome is, it is just a tourist attraction for most people, in the words of contemporary Jingkong Master Xu Yehong: Buddha statues are nothing more than a Buddhist education tool. For those believers who worship, kneeling and burning incense is only a pious ritual and has no practical significance for mastering Buddhist thought; If we only worship Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as idols now, thinking that if we burn a few more incense sticks in front of the Buddha statue and kowtow a few more times, we will be blessed by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, we will be promoted and rich, we will be safe and happy, and we will be able to eliminate disasters and receive blessings, which is purely superstitionous! This is simply an insult to Buddhism! If you do not understand the truth of cause and effect, do not understand the purpose of Buddhist teaching theory, and just blindly worship, you will completely deviate from the original intention of Buddha's teaching.
In my humble opinion, because people's ability to cognize the material world for more than 2,000 years is far less in-depth and detailed than it is today, Buddhism at that time could only derive a relatively superficial worldview. The temple was originally an educational place for people to concentrate on learning Buddhist knowledge, not an altar to beg for the blessing of the gods and eliminate disasters; Buddha statues are originally tools for Buddhist education, and their connotations are the spiritual sustenance given by people, not the human incarnation of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, which can respond to requests. There is no subsistence for practice. There is no good thing in heaven that falls pie because of burning incense and kowtowing, and if you don't concentrate on practicing to improve your academic ability and contribute to society, how can you get a good reward, this is cause and effect.
The late monk Jingkong also told us that the "consecration" of Buddhism originally referred to an opening ceremony held when the new Buddha statue was completed, and it was the practitioner who improved his ideological realm through learning and perception, and opened his own eyes to cognition the world, just like a blind man saw the light, which was regarded as consecration. The Buddha statue sutra sold by the Legal Circulation Office is attached to spirituality when the "eminent monk" recites the sutra, and the owner can do whatever he wants, eliminate disasters and avoid disasters, and his wishes come true, which is purely superstitious and deceptive. What Master Jingkong said really hit the nail on the head.
Then some people may ask: Why do many monks encourage and encourage believers to donate merit? In my humble opinion: because Buddhist monks have not obtained state power and cannot support themselves through state taxes, monks and monasteries need to survive, so they accept gifts in the simplest and most labor-saving way, which is purely a manipulation of the environment. If they don't do this, they can only suffer and beg along the door. Otherwise, we cannot survive, so how can we talk about promoting Buddhism? And those who have a successful career or want to have a successful career can achieve the purpose of making a name for themselves and passing it on to future generations by donating property to the century-old temple. The general believers use the chicken soup (philosophical thought) in Buddhism to resolve their worries and sorrows and pray for peace and blessings for the masses and mortals through monks. Monks and believers can take what they need, and the interests of all parties determine the reality of monasteries and monks. It's just a causal effect.
I climbed the golden peak of Emei, looking down at the mountains, the sea of clouds is vast, not climbing the high cold, knowing that the world is wide, the biggest fun of mountaineering is after climbing to the top, standing in the clouds, looking at the pride of the mountains, as the so-called "clouds (sea) to the boundless sky as the shore, the mountain to the top I am the peak"; The greater pleasure is the challenge of one's own physical strength and will during hiking, which is similar to the practice advocated by various religions.
At this time, this scene reminds me of the poem "Eight Solstices" by the Tang Dynasty poet Li Zhi:
From the near to the far east and west, from the deep to the shallow clear stream.
The highest to the sun and moon, the closest to the most distant couples.
Walking alone on foot along the way, I couldn't help but feel the emotion and helplessness of the poetess in this poem.
In fact, the infinite scenery of life is all in the last days of life, when we have already experienced the ups and downs of the world; appreciated the twists and turns; saw through the competition for fame and fortune in the world; I have realized the inevitable laws of birth, old age, illness and death, so I can stand at the top and appreciate the true meaning of life.
Looking at this rolling sea of clouds, I am on the top of Mount Emei at this moment, looking back on my life that has been half my life, if I take another step forward in front of the cliff, it will be irreversible, but taking a step back is also the sea and sky, without losing or giving up. I have come to a great realization, life has reached the end of a thousand miles, why go to a higher level?
Even if there are tens of millions of emotions, it will eventually return to reality. Now what to do is go back to the hotel to take a nap, and then check out and go down the mountain.
At about ten o'clock, I took the cable car down to the reception hall. 【Tips】There is a guest house opened by the Emei Mountain Ropeway Company to stay in the reception hall, and you don't have to get up early to climb to the top the next day. You can take the cable car to the top without delaying to watch the sunrise, and the price of the guest house is also reasonable, which is much more cost-effective than staying overnight on the top of the mountain.
Yesterday I was in a hurry and didn't have time to visit, but today I came here again, and I didn't want to make up for a trip. The Jieyin Hall was built in the Song Dynasty, and the temple is located at the foot of the mountain, with an altitude of 2,540 meters. In the early Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt into Jieyin Monastery, or Chaoyang Pavilion, and the rear hall was decayed. The current temple was rebuilt in 1995 100 meters away from the original site and completed in 1997.At present, the architectural layout of the hall is facing east and west, with a courtyard layout and a three-tiered hall, consisting of the front hall (Maitreya Hall), the middle hall (Daxiong Treasure Hall), and the rear hall (Amitabha Treasure Hall). The main body of the building is a full-frame cement masonry antique structure, a resting roof, a glazed tile roof, a plain masonry foundation, a multi-level ruyi pedestal, a three-level platform, and a height difference of 25 meters between the front and back. The view outside the temple is broad, you can see the sea of clouds, Buddha's light, and the scenery is magnificent. There are eight ancient scenic spots such as "dressing up and staying in the moon", "fairy bed lying clouds", "seeing the light on the stage", and "sunset of the magic lamp". Because the temple is located in a high-rise area, the firs are in pieces, towering into the clouds, and the momentum is majestic. During the Republic of China, the famous Chinese painter Zhang Daqian stayed in the temple for many days and created many excellent works. It's a pity that I couldn't see the beautiful scenery due to limited time and lack of preparation. Opportunities are left to the future.
20. Monkeys and merchants coexist harmoniously
Theroad from the reception hall to Leidong Pingshan Road is winding and winding, commonly known as "Eighty-Four Plates". There is also a monkey area between the two places, this group of monkeys is one or twenty, the difference is that this group of monkeys calmly ask for food delivered by tourists in a fixed area, the monkeys and the stalls of roadside food vendors are close at hand, but only beg for food from tourists, never begging the vendors, I was so surprised to ask the merchants: Don't monkeys harass you? Aren't you afraid of monkeys? They replied: Don't be afraid, it's okay. The tone of their answer made me feel that these monkeys did not disturb their normal business in the slightest. I stayed for a while, keeping a close eye on the group of monkeys. It seems that the reason has been discovered, although this section of the road is bustling with tourists, there are always a few people wearing blue vests walking back and forth in this section, and when they find monkeys naughty, such as rummaging through trash cans, they scold the monkeys loudly, and the monkeys seem to be very obedient and run away immediately. The blue vest also reminds tourists not to carry plastic bags and drink bottles in their hands at any time, and if they find that tourists have behavior that is too close to the monkeys, they will also advise that the vendors never use food to tease the monkeys, and there are no vendors selling monkey food on the road, no wonder this group of monkeys never let go wild, and can coexist harmoniously with tourists and vendors, which is much more civilized than the monkeys in the Qingyin Pavilion Monkey Area. It is entirely a matter of the manager's sense of responsibility and economic interests.
From Leidongping, you can take the tourist line to the Shanxia Passenger Transport Center or directly to the train station, there are many vehicles, full of people, I bought a ticket and got on the bus to find a window seat and fasten my seat belt. This winding mountain road has a rugged surface, many steep slopes, and sharp turns one after another. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and there is no danger! The driver's car drove not fast, skillfully in the direction, twisting and snaking on the picturesque mountain road, I had no intention of enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, along the way I was confused, half asleep and half awake, passing through the parking lots of Wannian Temple, Wuxiangang and Baoguo Temple, stopping, and driving to the passenger service center at the foot of the mountain at thirteen o'clock.
Thepassenger service center is not far from the hotel I booked, less than five minutes to walk back to the original hotel, pick up the luggage and check in, enter the room first plug in the electric mattress, miss lunch time in the car, open the suitcase, find the remaining bucket of instant noodles and a ham sausage, boil water instant noodles, make up for a meal, take a swimsuit and go to the hot spring lightly, it's time to relax and relax the bubble man.
21. Warm spring
Come to Lingxiu Hot Spring at 15 o'clock, the ticket price is 135 yuan, Lingxiu Hot Spring is located on the shore of Lingxiu Lake, the core area of the Baoguo Temple Scenic Area in Mount Emei, bordering Lingxiu Theater and Beer Villa. The waiter here has a very good attitude, the cabinet and dressing room inside are quite wide, I changed into a swimsuit, entered the hot spring area, first took a big turn, understand the layout of the hot spring pool, the hot spring covers a lot of area, divided into indoor and outdoor parts, few people, and a few foreigners, there are many functional pools, the most popular is the outdoor traditional Chinese medicine pool, there are ginseng, aloe vera, angelica, lavender and other pools. I first soaked in the angelica pool for half an hour, kneading my sore calves and stomach to relieve fatigue, and then went to the sauna for 20 minutes to dry steam, and I felt that I was almost ready to take a bath and change clothes. That's it here, it's a big difference from the bathroom I imagined before I came.
Lingxiu Hot Springs provides hot spring pools of different grades, different moods and functions for different hot spring lovers for people to relax and vacation, and it is also an excellent way to relax after alpine tourism. It is suitable for summer water play, but not suitable for deep bathing, no indoor rest area, no back rubbing health massage and other services, it is more like a swimming pool than a hot spring bath.
Not far from the hot spring is the delicious street, I found a restaurant to sit down, ordered a Sichuan spicy soup dumpling, a cold spelling, a cured ribs, two taels of white wine, and slowly tasted and rested.
After dinner, I went back to the hotel room to drink tea, watch TV, and there were no attractive programs, so I simply got into the bed and continued to write "Essay on Mount Emei", recalling the mountaineering experience in the past few days, I had a lot of thoughts, and there were always things that I couldn't finish writing and remembering.
After a night of silence, I went to bed early the next day until I was red, washed and brushed my teeth, shaved my beard, packed my bags, thought about it for a minute before going out, looked around the guest room, and it was ready, and I went downstairs to check out at about eight o'clock. There is a No. 12 bus stop at the entrance of the alley, and I wanted to return to the train station to take the bullet train back to Chengdu, but after thinking about it, it is better to try several more modes of transportation, compare the pros and cons, and provide practice and consultation for future or others to travel to Mount Emei.At nine o'clock on the 13th, the long-distance bus departed, and I once again walked through the "Famous Mountains of the World" archway of Mount Emei, which also indicated that I had left Mount Emei, and I looked back at the archway of Mount Emei gradually moving away from me. Goodbye to Mount Emei, don't be easy, if I have the opportunity in my lifetime, I will definitely visit again with my family and friends.
Reluctantly parting, how many times have we been together, how many times have we parted? How can fate come and go according to one's heart? There will be a meeting after Mount Emei.
22. Leisure in Chengdu
But what I didn't expect was that the long-distance bus did not drive directly to Chengdu, but picked up passengers at various stations in Emeishan City, circled around the city, delayed for nearly an hour, and then drove north to Chengdu after picking up passengers at the last station at 9:50. There was nothing to do all the way, and I arrived at the new South Gate passenger station in Chengdu at about 11:50. After that, I transferred to Kuanzhai Lane, and Baidu searched and guided me to walk for about 20 minutes to find a hotel called Hexijia, a single room for 168 yuan, to stay.
To sum up, the long-distance bus is slower, and it takes 3 hours and 20 minutes to go from the Emei Mountain Hotel to Chengdu. (about three hours by train) The price is slightly lower - forty-six yuan, and there is free Wi-Fi in the long-distance bus.
The hotel is not far from Kuanzhai Alley, and it is only a few steps away from turning left. "Wide and narrow alleys", composed of wide alleys, narrow alleys and well alleys arranged in parallel, are all antique courtyards of green bricks and tiles, which is also a relatively large-scale ancient street of the Qing Dynasty copied in Chengdu.
First of all, I ate grilled Sichuan bacon in a wide alley and food stall, which was cold, spicy and cold noodles, and my stomach was limited and I could only eat these.
Secondly, drink tea and watch dramas in the teahouse in the narrow alley to experience the leisurely and slow life in Chengdu. The first part of the program performance: auction - a four-foot banner written on the spot by a calligrapher XXX, the words written are also at the level of fourth-rate employment, and some people really spend 100 yuan to shoot it; the second link - hand shadow play, the performer uses hand projection to change the shape of various animals; The third link: tea pouring performance - the performers use a kettle with a spout more than one meter long to juggle various postures; The fourth link: Guzheng - "Three Lanes of Plum Blossoms"; The fifth link: Sichuan opera - "Pi Jin Rolling Lantern", water sleeve performance, white snake legend clip - playing flower guns; The finale is the Sichuan opera - "Changing Face".
After that, I bought a gift for my little padded jacket in Jingxiang - a panda mobile phone bag, and I also chose two Chengdu special refrigerator magnets as a souvenir of my trip.
Some people pick their ears, ask for 40 yuan once, and only 20 yuan when they check online, hesitate to give up and find a cheap one.
When I was tired of shopping, I went back to the hotel to rest, and used my mobile phone to book a ticket back to Beijing in two days in the evening. At 22 o'clock, I was hungry again for some reason, so I went out to eat. Most of the curtains on the street have been closed, only one Shandong noodle restaurant is still in business, entering the door to ask for two taels of squid noodles, Chengdu characteristics, selling noodles can be sold according to one tael, two two, three two, more humane than Beijing's noodle restaurants, why this business method has not spread to Beijing, it's a pity. After dinner, return to the hotel to sleep.
On the 14th, Wuhou Temple, Liu Xiang's tomb, and Jinli wandered.
Wuhou Temple (Han Zhaolie Temple) began in 223 AD when Liu Bei Hui Mausoleum was built, it is the only temple in China where monarchs and ministers are worshipped together, the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and Shu Han heroes, and it is also the most influential museum of the Three Kingdoms relics in the country.
Liu Xiang's tomb was built in 1940 and covers an area of 115 acres. The cemetery imitates the architectural style of the Qing Mausoleum in Beijing, with symmetrical lines. On the central axis of more than 40 meters, there are relief stone stele-style gates, three-cave gates, square pavilions, multi-corner pavilions, Jianxin Hall and other main buildings. At that time, the archway gate was the main gate, and there was a small bridge flowing water in front of the door. The bridge is made of stone and the railings are carved with cloud patterns. Liu Xiang, as a Sichuan warlord during the Republic of China, participated in the civil war, but when the War of Resistance broke out, he resolutely led Sichuan soldiers to fight against Japan, and died of illness due to overwork. His life is as Liu Xiang himself said: "How many years of civil war have been fought in the province in the past, and the face is disgraceful, and today the muzzle is outward, just taking advantage of the time to serve the country, so as to wash away his dirt, how can he live in peace in the rear." He also said: "I have always shouted anti-Japanese, but now that the curtain of war has been lifted, I have retreated and not advanced, wouldn't it be ridiculed by future generations?" Guo Moruo made a couplet: Governing Shu is a person after Wei Gao, with great merit and virtue, meticulous and meticulous, and I feel that the good worker is lonely; The Japanese army marched a thousand miles east from Kuimen, determined to annihilate themselves, and suddenly a great star fell, often bringing tears to the hearts of heroes.
In Jinli, lunch is solved first: order a fat rice noodle along the street, a marching pot helmet and other snacks, and eat while walking to fill your stomach.
There is also a special service of picking out the ears in the street garden. Ear picking, commonly known as "small comfort", is a folk craft that integrates art and technology. In tourist attractions and teahouses in Chengdu, ear pickers have dozens of ear picking tools, such as ear pickers, goose feather sticks, chisels, vibrators, horsetails, ear scrapers, ear lifts, cotton swabs, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, headlamps, etc.
Ear picking is also a skill in the seventy-two lines of folklore, and it is also a unique ear culture in Sichuan. There are still three major happy sayings among the people: picking ears, pinching feet, and bathing. The ear is the most important auditory organ of the human body, and its nervous system is very sensitive, and customers can get the greatest enjoyment and relaxation in the itchy, tense and stimulating experience, so some people call it "small comfort".
I really wanted to experience the feeling of picking out my ears, and the price was 30 yuan, which was 10 yuan cheaper than Kuanzhai Alley, so I sat down. The ear picker took out a utensil shaped like a chicken feather, as long as chopsticks. I couldn't help but close my eyes, as the sound of Ding Dang increased, the master changed to a larger family business, and the comfortable feeling surged layer by layer with the scratching of the ear spoon, all the way into the heart, the heart seemed to be crispy, and the whole body felt relaxed. Enjoy it for ten minutes. If you don't experience it firsthand, you can't experience how ecstatic it is to pick your ears. "Very comfortable".
After that, I continued to go shopping, and when I was tired of shopping, I found another tea garden to listen to the play, the cost was half cheaper than Kuanzhai Alley, the seats were more comfortable, and the place was loose, but the performance program was a little shrunk, and the artistic level was not as high as that of Kuanzhai Alley.
In the afternoon, I went back to the hotel to rest, and went downstairs for dinner to find a local specialty restaurant, I smelled the aroma of pig intestines on the road, and I especially loved to eat the braised intestines in Beijing, so I ordered two taels of fat rice noodles in the roadside fly shop, the portion was more than Jinli, the price was much cheaper, and the taste of fat sausage was also sufficient. After eating, I went back to the hotel, sat idly and was bored, watched TV for a while, and wrote "Essay on Mount Emei" for a while until I was sleepy, and I didn't mention it all night.
On the morning of the 15th, I slept until I woke up naturally and checked out. Take the bus to Xinnanmen Station to store your suitcase, travel lightly to Chunxi Road, and order a Chongqing noodle at the food stall for lunch. In the afternoon, I wanted to find a bathing center and get a massage, but unfortunately I was not familiar with the place and couldn't do it, so I had to sit idly in McDonald's with a cup of Coke and a French fries to continue writing "Essay on Mount Emei". Until dinner, I ordered a Kung Pao chicken and rice at the New South Gate Canteen, and the taste of Kung Pao chicken was obviously more fragrant than in Beijing.
After dinner, I took the subway to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport, preparing to take flight HU7248, the plane was about an hour late, and when I was waiting for the flight, I suddenly remembered something, I wanted to go to the "Shuyuan" elderly care community to inspect the environment, but unfortunately I forgot everything, some regrets, and I also failed Mr. Taikang Yang's enthusiasm, I have the opportunity to make up for it. In addition, Chengdu is a tourist hotspot city, and many check-in attractions such as: Panda Base, Jinsha Ruins, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Wenzhu Temple, Qingcheng Mountain, and Dujiangyan have not been patronized, leaving some regrets, for the opportunity to go to Chengdu in the future to enjoy a slow life.
In the early morning of the 16th (Friday), I arrived in Beijing with all my beard, took the airport bus to Anzhen Bridge, walked 400 meters home, and the clumsy inner and the little padded jacket had already fallen asleep. The "Dream Journey to Mount Emei" has come to a successful end, no, it should be a semicolon, I really look forward to visiting Mount Emei again with my family or friends in my lifetime, and share the dream journey!
Twenty-three Perception of life
Theroad to Mount Emei is rugged and unpredictable, there are uphill, flat, downhill, steep slopes, and you will encounter various situations on the way, there are robbery monkeys, vendors selling goods, entangled sliding poles, fellow climbers, the ups and downs of the road of life, as long as you don't retreat, you will definitely be able to go up to the top of the mountain, even if you fall on the way to climb, what harm is it, life is just like this.
In the face of worldly troubles and impermanence of life, listening quietly on the mountain, the voice from the depths of the heart may be the most attractive. Leaving the pace of habits, getting to know a new self, and stepping onto the top of Emei, I realized how big the world is and how vast my state of mind can be.
As people grow older, after experiencing countless problems and setbacks, they begin to gradually understand the deep meaning of life, and they no longer have the mentality at the beginning, but begin to be cautious. We began to analyze which mountain is more beautiful and which water is the clearest.
If a person stays at this stage of life, he will suffer this life. People will look at this mountain and the mountain high, compete and be competitive, and there will be a day of never-ending and satisfaction. Most people reach the end of their lives at this stage. pursued a lifetime, but could never achieve his ideals, so he held hatred for the rest of his life.
But some people finally elevate themselves to the highest level of life through practice and return to the basics. Look at the mountain or the mountain, look at the water or water. At this time, people will have a respectful attitude, concentrate on doing everything they should do, do not care about others, have no desires, have no quarrels with the world, and face worldly things.
Life is short, the years are like a shuttle, happy to know fate, why not be happy.
Why do you frown your head and break your heart for the momentary setback?
Why are you upset about people and things you are not used to?
Don't you know that we are all compatriots who reflect each other in the world.
The sea embraces all rivers, and there is room for it; The wall stands a thousand feet high, and if there is no desire, it is strong.
Where in life is there not to practice, practice may not enter the empty door, it may not be the famous mountain lamp incense Buddha, the practice is in the world!
After.
After
visiting the eight major monasteries of Mount Emei one by one, I felt the arduous and arduous mountaineering road, and from the day I set off alone, it was destined to be a lonely and lonely hiking trip. But this feeling is very wonderful, allowing me to walk alone in such an unfamiliar deep mountain and old forest, making this hike a practice, and in my own experience, I have never hiked alone in such a mountain. Because I was mentally bound and suppressed by my father since I was a child, I was stripped of my material life, and I relied on accepting handouts to steal pleasure, and if I made a slight mistake in my studies and life, as long as it was considered to damage the majesty of my father's family, I would be slapped with a stick, which created my introverted and timid and inferior character. This hike made my body suffer, and it felt like a bitter trip, but it actually became a perfect release for me, allowing me to experience a baptism of my soul and a full-body salvation.
I have found myself, fully understood myself, so what if I am like this, what does it matter at this level, bravely admit myself, accept my real self, but will make people feel that I am real and not hypocritical. In the past, I lived too upside down, I didn't know how to cherish it, and I didn't know how to be blessed in the blessings, but in fact, life was very simple, and we complicated it ourselves. The road of life is like the road of Mount Emei, and the rhythm of climbing is also different from person to person, even if you can't reach the Golden Peak, what can you do if you can't see all the ten views of Emei, life is still day by day, the meal is also eaten in bite, live every day in a down-to-earth manner, find happiness in the ordinary, and find happiness.
Mount Emei is still the original Mount Emei, the living environment in Beijing is still the original environment, I am still me, but my heart has changed, the way of looking at the world has changed, everything is going well, existence is the best reason, instead of demanding others to change, it is better to take the initiative to change yourself, the world has become better because of the changes of all of us. Great pleasure in nature, arrogance in the senses. The journey of life, the journey of humanity, the journey of nature, but so on.
Seven Laws "Perception of Mount Emei"
Wuwei
Inautumn and winter, step on Emei, the mountain road is far away to find the north,
find yourself alone in the clouds, and self-interpretation and self-reading are more beautiful than immortals.
In the Puxian Tower in Mount Emei, some people worship and some travel,
believe it or not, who is happy and who is sad?
Li Hongzhang's famous couplet in his later years
Enjoying Qingfu is not an official, as long as he has money in his pocket, grain in the warehouse, and poetry and books in his belly, he is the prime minister in the mountains;
Pray for the New Year without taking medicine, but hope that the body is not sick, the heart is worry-free, and there are no creditors at the door, and it is the gods on earth.
I offer ugliness and a horizontal criticism Yin Shi Fushou
In
the joy, although there are regrets, it is also the norm in reality, enlightenment is obtained, and Mount Emei is worth the trip.
