With the help of the second sister in Chengdu, I designed a 6-day itinerary, the advantage is that the time is not too long, the physical strength is not too tiring, it is friendly to office workers, there is no need to take a lot of leave, and the attractions are rich. Staying on the road for 5 days, all below 3,000 meters above sea level, is not easy for most people to rebel. This time there were 4 people, including a 70-year-old father and a 69-year-old sister-in-law. Although there are two elderly people, they usually maintain regular exercise habits and do not have any underlying diseases.

I picked up the car early in the morning and rented a Tank 300 on China-TravelNote. There are many people who go to western Sichuan to rent tanks 300, which are powerful and cheap. Go directly to the highway, no need to enter the city, and there is no traffic jam. All the way to Kangding. Lunch can be solved in Kangding. You don't have to enter Kangding City, there are many restaurants on the roadside. After passing Kangding, it began to wind around the mountain road, and now 318 is a very mature tourist route, the roads are very well repaired, the service area is also well-equipped, and there are all kinds of supplies for food, clothing, housing and transportation.
On the way, you have to climb over the first mountain above 4,000 meters above sea level, Zheduo Mountain, which is very cold, you need to wear a jacket, and it rains from time to time.
You can reach Yajiang County in the evening. Yajiang County is a small county town on the banks of the Yalong River, with mountains on both sides and rivers in the middle. Many houses are built next to the river, and it seems that they are in danger of being swept away by water at any time.
There are also many homestays on the side of the national highway, and it is convenient to eat. June is not the peak season, and the standard room is about 150.
Continuing the journey over the mountains, there is already a tunnel open to traffic on Gaoersi Mountain, so there is no need to cross the pass. There are also several 4,000-meter high mountains such as Scissors Bend Mountain and Xiongzongka Mountain.
After the eighteenth bend of the heavenly road, you will arrive at Litang County.
Litang County is 4,014 meters above sea level and is the highest town on the southern Sichuan-Tibet line, known as the "City in the Sky". Arriving at Litang is just lunch time, and you can have lunch here.There is a Letong Ancient Town in the county, which is a Tibetan-style tourist attraction, and we can go to see it when we have time, and we played on the way back. There are travel photos in Tibetan clothes in the ancient town, and there are various Tibetan specialties. Many are Internet celebrity clothing. We didn't use it, but rented the Tibetan hotel owner's own costumes, although not as flashy as the stage costumes, better than the original.
After Litang, we have to cross the two high mountains of Rabbit Mountain and Haizi Mountain. You can stop and take pictures at the Rabbit Mountain Observation Deck, and from a distance, it seems that there is a little rabbit on the top of the mountain with two ears erected.
Haizi Mountain is an alpine meadow with a very flat top, as well as wetlands, a lot of rubble, and perhaps the remains of an ancient glacier. There are several lakes at the top of the mountain.
After Haizi Mountain is Daocheng County, which is 74 kilometers away from our destination tonight, Shangri-La Town, about 1 hour and 16 minutes. It's summer, it's 5 p.m., and it's still bright.

I thought that Shangri-La was a remote and backward western town, with green waters and green mountains, and simple Tibetans, but the living conditions would be more difficult. Unexpectedly, this was the biggest surprise for me on this trip. After years of construction and recent rectification, it is a tourist town full of exotic style, with very complete food service facilities, and the price and service are very standardized, reasonable and fair.
Tomorrow's itinerary is the Aden Scenic Area. The scenic spot has two roads, long and short, the long line is called the Jingang Challenge Line, starting from Luorong Cattle Farm to the highest point of the five-color sea, 5km one way, 10km round trip, and climbing from 4100 meters to 4700 meters. Although there are horses to ride, none of us like to ride horses, and we must enjoy the fun of climbing mountains. Therefore, the two 70-year-olds who traveled with him also strengthened their confidence in climbing the mountain. The pharmacy in the town sells all kinds of oxygen, and there are rental oxygen concentrators in the scenic spot. I suggest that you don't want to be cheap, but buy medical pure oxygen, although it costs more than 50 yuan, but you can inhale a lot of mouthfuls. There is also a pillow bag, 70 yuan, 42 liters of pure oxygen. If you prepare in advance, there are all kinds of empty bags sold online, you can go to the health center to fill oxygen, 42 liters need 20 yuan.
It cannot be said that when it comes to high altitudes, there is oxygen in hand, and the heart has confidence. There are also many choices of accommodation in Shangri-La Town, and some large hotels are in good condition, but they are far from the town center and are located on the edge of the kilometer. I still chose to live in the center of the town, so it was convenient to eat. Moreover, Shangri-La Town is only more than 2,900 meters above sea level, and there will be no high reaction, which is also a good choice for most people to repair and prepare for battle.
Today, we entered the ultimate goal of this trip, the Aden Scenic Area. According to the experience introduced by others, I planned to take a long route and set off early in the morning.There are trekking poles in the supermarket at the entrance of the scenic spot, which can be rented, if not refunded, it will be 25 yuan, and if it is returned in the afternoon, each will be refunded 10 yuan. The price is fair and convenient for tourists. There are several stops in the middle, but basically no one gets off the bus, usually sitting directly to the terminal station to collapse, about 1 hour of driving. From the car, you can see the main peak of Daocheng 3 Sacred Mountain, Yang Maiyong, with an altitude of 6,033 meters.
Then walk about 20 minutes to Okikoji Temple.
Chonggu Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist temple, but it is not open and cannot be visited.
We chose to take a long line, take a battery car, the fare is 70 yuan, and get off at Luorong Cattle Farm. There is a service station when you get off the bus, and if the weather is cold, you can rent a military coat, a deposit of 150 yuan, and a rent of 50 yuan.
Then the 10km round trip began. Of course, if you are not physically fit, you can also choose to ride a horse, but the fun of going out will be lost a lot. There is a canteen in the Luorong Cattle Farm, where you can buy milk tea, butter tea and food. You can replenish some energy here.
They are all wooden plank roads, and the road is very easy to walk. At the beginning, the road section was relatively gentle, climbing slowly, and gradually, there were steeper steps. When I arrived at the Sacrifice Cliff, I had already climbed more than halfway. There are rest chairs, trash cans, and eco-friendly toilets along the way, but there are no food and drink. It is best to bring your own high-energy food and water. The whole journey takes about 6 hours.
There is still the last 300 meters of height to reach the Sacrifice Cliff. Further up is a steep step road, our oxygen came in handy at this time, seeing that my father was struggling to walk, so I asked him to take some oxygen intermittently. The 69-year-old sister-in-law didn't use oxygen, so as long as her body was fine, she didn't have to worry, and she could try bravely.
Arrived at the milk sea at an altitude of 4,600 meters, the background is snow-capped mountains, the river beach is white stones, if it is a sunny day, the sun covers the clear lake water, like the lake is not water, but fresh milk. There are clouds in the sky today, so the beauty of the lake is discounted, and the advantage is that ultraviolet rays do not peel off the nose.
The last 300 meters are climbed from the Milk Sea at an altitude of 4,600 meters to the Sea of Five Colors at an altitude of 4,700 meters. It is relatively steep and needs to be walked slowly, and the snow-capped mountain on the opposite side should be Xiano Dorji. The rocks show beautiful stripes.
Looking back at Yang Maiyong, the distance is closer, and the glaciers between the peaks can be seen very clearly.
Finally, we have reached today's ultimate goal, the five-colored sea, today there is no sun, and we have not seen the brilliant colors of the five-colored sea. But the most beautiful scenery is on the road, challenge yourself, and the sense of accomplishment of reaching the summit itself is enough to satisfy people.
It's easier to go down the mountain, it's not long-winded here. When you arrive at Chonggu Temple, there is a short line, which is relatively easy, called the "Guanyin Compassion Line", and the road is relatively gentle, reaching the Pearl Sea, which is called 'Dolma Latso' in Tibetan. But it's not too early. If you have time to come back the next day, the ticket is valid for two days, and the sightseeing bus is half price the second time. But we needed 6 days to return to Chengdu, so we gave up.
After going down the mountain yesterday, I ate hot rice noodles, which were very cheap and tasted good. Get a good night's rest in Shangri-La Town. On the fourth day, I went from Shangri-La Town to Yajiang County, stayed overnight in Yajiang, repeated the road, and pressed the table.
, after crossing the Yajiang River, we began to walk north at Xindu Bridge and entered the small ring road in western Sichuan. Xinduqiao is known as a photographer's paradise, but I think it is actually difficult to match the fame, and I don't feel that it is brilliant. When you arrive at the Tagong grassland, there is a large temple, Tagong Temple, which has many national treasures and beautiful legends. Tickets are 25 yuan, worth seeing. The Tagong grassland is also very beautiful, with the white Yala Snow Mountains in the distance, and the gentle grassland stretches as far as the eye can see.
I also passed by the Moshi Park Scenic Area, a place known as an exotic planet. Unfortunately, this day was just in time for the holiday, there were a lot of people, and it would take a long time to queue for the scenic spot transportation bus, so we decisively gave up.
On the way to Danba, there is also a Huiyuan Zen Temple, which is also a very famous temple, and I heard the lama say that there is a very famous living Buddha from here.
The next stop is tonight's destination, Danba County. All the way down the mountain, it is a winding mountain road, and there are several Yala Snow Mountain Observation Decks on the road, where you can stop and take pictures, and there are some snacks. There are also residential camps.
The road to Danba is further lowered in altitude, and the scenery takes on a different style from the plateau. From snow-capped mountains, plateaus, and grasslands to high mountains and canyons and streams. Not far from Danba County, it is Jiaju Tibetan Village, we booked a homestay in the scenic spot, and we can get a 80% discount on tickets with an order.
The winding mountain road in Shangzangzhai is very steep and narrow, but fortunately, we are driving a four-wheel drive car, and the power is more reassuring. Living halfway up the mountain, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland.
The owner of the homestay is very enthusiastic, and some tourists have difficulty driving up the mountain, and the boss also helps to drive the car down. Breakfast is included in the accommodation and dinner is also available at an additional cost, but at a fair price.
6 Jiaju Tibetan Village can drive all the way to the No. 10 observation deck. The beauty here really surprised me. The beauty is completely different from that of the plateau, and it is not inferior to Daocheng Aden. The scenery here can not be as bold as the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and more beautiful ink painting.
After visiting Jiaju Tibetan Village, continue to drive, and the next stop is Xiaojin. Passing by Siguniang Mountain, friends who have time can visit Siguniang Mountain. Because we had limited time, we stopped at the Maobiliang Observation Deck. If you are lucky, you can see the snow-capped mountains of Siguniang Mountain, and sometimes the sunshine golden mountain, the sea of clouds, etc., but today is just cloudy, so we can only make a special trip next time. Walking back to Chengdu through Balang Mountain, although it is much slower than taking the highway, the scenery on the road is still pleasant. Balang Mountain is densely vegetated and passes through the Wolong Giant Panda Sanctuary. However, not everyone is destined to witness giant pandas. The road in the second half of the journey is much easier, there are not so many mountain roads, and the road is much wider. When we arrived in Dujiangyan, it was almost evening, and we had a big meal in Dujiangyan to replenish our energy, and then rushed all the way back to Shuangliu Airport on the Chengguan Expressway. Our trip to western Sichuan ended successfully, fulfilling my long-cherished wish for many years. I have a few insights through this journey. 1. Don't stop trying because others say it's difficult, many things are difficult to think about, and it's not so scary to actually do it. Second, you should maintain good living habits, eat healthily, insist on exercising, and have a good body in order to enjoy life. 3. Be curious about unfamiliar things, and there are surprises everywhere in life. Fourth, enjoy the process of doing things, sometimes the process is more fun than the result.
