Summer vacation is a good time to travel, but due to the spread of the Delta variant strain of the new crown epidemic, everyone can only give up their plans to go out and stay at home obediently. It can be said that we are the lucky ones this summer. We traveled as soon as possible during the summer vacation, and when the epidemic spread in many cities across the country, we have returned home safely. The entire trip was not affected by this wave of epidemic.
Driving into Tibet is my ultimate dream in this life. And the hard-working salarymen, with limited vacations, can only look at the ocean and sigh for the long journey. But the Sichuan-Tibet line, which I have been longing for, wants to set foot in it first, so I personally planned this trip to Aden in western Sichuan. Two plans were planned for this trip. One is to drive the whole process, passing through Chengdu to Aden via the Luya Line or the Daoxiang Line, and returning from Yunnan. Considering that I took such a strong medicine on my first long-distance road trip, I was not afraid that I would not be able to stand it, but that my companions would peel off my skin. So I chose option 2 - fly to Chengdu and rent a car on land.
This self-driving trip lasted 9 days (July 10-18, 2021, excluding the time to and from large transportation), with a mileage of nearly 2,000 kilometers. The actual route is shown in the figure below. The original route from Dujiangyan to Danba was planned as "Dujiangyan-Yingxiu-Siguniang Mountain-Xiaojin County-Danba", and the whole route was a small loop with a tail. However, it was learned that the G350 Panda Avenue Siguniang Mountain to Danba section will be subject to traffic control at different times. Because it was the first long-distance self-driving tour, in order not to affect the itinerary, I changed my route to take the highway to Shanghai to Danba. In this way, I went back a lot and missed the good scenery along the Siguniang Mountain.

On the way to Yajiang, pass by the lavender manor in Xinduqiao. I didn't know this place when I passed by (I later stayed in Xinduqiao Town on the way back, listening to the hotel owner), but I felt a sense of déjà vu. This is a good place to make a blockbuster. Put on a long white skirt and dance in the purple lavender bushes, under the action of light and shadow, the romantic picture can definitely blow up the circle of friends. Unfortunately, this is all my conjecture after missing it, and we didn't stop here.
In the section of Gaoersi Mountain, there was no signal on the mobile phone, and offline priority was not set in advance, and the navigation took us to the old pass of Gaoersi Mountain. After the opening of the Gaoersi Mountain Tunnel, the old road fell into disrepair, and the people who walked the old pass thought of turning back the moment they turned into the old road. The road surface of the old 318 was covered with mud and gravel, and the vehicles drove through the dust, just like driving a military vehicle to the battlefield during the war years. The rugged and winding mountain road has a drop so big that it makes people's scalp tingle. Fortunately, it was a clear day, otherwise I doubt that the car would be able to withstand the bumpy trek. The hotel is only about 10 minutes' drive from the gate of the scenic spot, first go to the underground parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot to park the car (private cars are not allowed to enter the Aden scenic spot, parking is charged on time), and then go to buy tickets. It takes about 50 minutes to take the scenic bus from the entrance of the scenic spot to the scenic spot. After getting off the bus, you can walk to the Pearl Sea on the right plank road, that is, the short line.
