Western Sichuan is a place that my husband and I like very much, and Daocheng Aden has not been there because of the high altitude and inconvenient transportation, and it is also what we have always missed. As I get older, I am determined to drive Daocheng Aden in more than 9 days this summer. Due to the serious congestion of National Highway 318, and considering that the gradual increase in altitude is conducive to physical adaptation, it was decided to take another path, from Xichang to Lugu Lake, take the famous Luya Line to Daocheng Aden, and the main sightseeing goal is Lugu Lake and Daocheng Aden.
Although we have made more adequate preparations, the four people of this trip are over half a hundred years old, and the high altitude, unfamiliar terrain and road conditions, frequent road safety incidents in western Sichuan in summer and other factors are intertwined, our hearts are full of apprehension, and finally due to the perfect route planning, more sufficient preparation, weather cooperation and other factors, we have successfully realized the mountains, water, and blooming flowers. The wish to go to Shangri-La in the dream. This trip is far from the mountains and steep slopes, which is inevitably frightening, but the mountains and rivers are magnificent and the scenery is very different, and I feel that this trip is worth it. Day 1 itinerary (7.25): Hanzhong-Jiange, live in the county
In order to reduce the pressure of the second day's trip, we set off from Hanzhong after get off work and rushed to Jiange County for accommodation.
Day 2 itinerary (7.26): Jiange - Xichang, stay in Xichang City (about 1500 meters above sea level)
Tour:We set off early in the morning and rushed to Xichang City, and arrived basically smoothly all the way. Xichang is a well-known aerospace city, due to time constraints, we regretted giving up visiting the satellite launch center and visited the ancient city of Jianchang at night. Located in the city center, the ancient city is an ancient city of the Ming Dynasty with a history of more than 600 years, maintaining the characteristic historical style of "fan-shaped city, cross as the axis, straight street and curved nine lanes", and the South Gate Datong Building rebuilt according to the original appearance, is now a cultural landmark of Xichang City. The ancient city is free all day (except for the Deng Chase Building), and there is a light show at night, which is suitable for tourists who love history and food.
Accommodation: First time in Xichang We stayed in the downtown area and visited the city. Popular accommodations are Qionghai Wetland Park, Torch Square, and Qionghai 17 Degrees Resort.
Day 3 itinerary (7.27): Xichang - Lugu Lake, accommodation scenic spot (2700 meters above sea level).
In the morning, drive to the Qionghai Diaoyutai scenic spot for sightseeing, and walk along the lake for about 1.5 hours. At 10 o'clock, we set off for Lugu Lake Scenic Area and arrived at the gate of Sichuan Scenic Area in 8 hours. Lugu Lake is a scenic spot jointly managed by Yunnan and Sichuan, bounded by the center of the lake, under the jurisdiction of Yunnan in the west and under the jurisdiction of Sichuan in the east.
Tour: Qionghai is the water source of Xichang City, and after years of ecological restoration, it is now the largest urban ecological protection wetland in China, and is a national 4A scenic spot integrating natural and cultural landscapes and lakeside parks. Qionghai is not the sea, but it has the vastness and gentleness of the sea, and the Qionghai in summer still maintains the unique tranquility of the plateau lake, the lake is full, the cool breeze blows, and the background color of the happy life of the people of Xichang is blurred.
Qionghai Diaoyutai 
Diaoyutai Traffic conditions:The mountain road in the urban section of Xichang-Yanyuan County has many curves and cars, especially large vehicles, and the traffic jam takes about 1 hour, and it takes about half an hour to pass slowly. After passing through Yanyuan County and entering National Highway 227, the big cars are basically gone, and the small cars have also been greatly reduced, but the canyon curves along the way still dare not relax.
Day 4 itinerary (7.29): Lugu Lake tour, continue to stay in the scenic spot
Tour: All the attractions of Lugu Lake are along the lake, and the main activities include sightseeing around the lake, taking the pig trough boat, taking the ropeway Denggem Sacred Mountain, and the Mosuo bonfire party. On the same day, we took a pig trough boat to Ribby Island at Sanjia Village Wharf, watched the water outlet, admired the water poplar flowers, and then drove around the lake for sightseeing.
At 7 o'clock in the morning, Lugu Lake was rippling, the lake water was deep and clear, and when we set off by boat at 9 o'clock, the sun gradually shone on the lake, and the lake water changed into a deep sapphire-like blue, which made people happy and intoxicated. The young men dressed in national costumes sang their key signatures and drove us to Liwubi Island, which floated in a blue patch, and at the outlet of Lugu Lake, a long green band appeared in the blue water, which was amazing. Climb up to the lush vegetation island along the winding path and enjoy the lake and island shadows from another perspective. In the blooming waters of the water elf of Lugu Lake - water-based poplar (second-class protected plant), the white flowers sway with the waves on the blue lake, like a little star, and the long flower stems dance lightly in the water.
After about 1 hour of boat trip, we drove around the lake (about 70 kilometers), checked in the attractions along the way, and enjoyed the mountains and waters of Lugu Lake. The Rig Peninsula is a landmark attraction of Lugu Lake, looking down from a high place, it is like a tear that fell into Lugu Lake, the lake surface is as blue as a mirror, the surrounding green mountains, blue sky and white clouds are clearly reflected in the water, and the lake, mountains and clouds are integrated into pure beauty. Lover's Beach, Little Falling Water Village, and Goddess Bay are not to be missed.

Water-based poplar at Sanjia Village Wharf Accommodation:There are many homestays around Lugu Lake, among which Daluoshui Village is the earliest developed and the most mature, we arrived on Sunday, the price of lake view homestays skyrocketed that day, I live in three nearby villages, the environment is quiet, cost-effective. The next day, I stayed at the lake homestay in Daluoshui Village, strolled around the lake in the evening, and looked at the sparkling lake under the sunset in the gentle evening breeze, feeling infinite tranquility and beauty. But at night, the screeching sound of vehicles running over the bumpy stone road lasted until late at night, affecting sleep.
Catering: There are not many choices for eating in Sanjia Village, eating stone pot chicken, live chicken is killed, and it is not cost-effective. There are many dining options in Daluoshui Village, you can taste water-based poplar flowers (artificially cultivated), and the edible flower stems are soft and have no special taste. You can choose to live in Sanjia Village and eat in Daluoshui Village.
Remarks: 1. The scenic spot takes a boat to Liwubi Island and watches the flowers for 50 yuan/person, and 30 yuan/person for watching the lake water outlet around the island.2. Lugu Lake is a place to see the sky and water, the scenery on sunny days and rainy days is very different, you must be optimistic about the weather to start, sunny days can bring you the top visual enjoyment. 3. There is no complete bus system in the scenic spot, which is suitable for self-driving travel.
Day 5 itinerary (7.29): Lugu Lake - Shangri-La Town, Suzhenshang (2900 meters above sea level)
Drive to Shangri-La Town in the morning, step into the famous "Luya East Line" around Lugu Lake, travel 280 kilometers, 10 hours (near Shangri-La Town, Road rockfall clearance ban waiting for 1.5 hours).
Traffic conditions: From Lugu Lake to Guzeng Township, passing through Qiansuo, Wujiao, Wachang, etc., the navigation shows that there is no nameless road, there are not many cars on the road, but the mountains are high and the roads are narrow, the cliffs are deep valleys, and the driving must be highly concentrated. Along the way, the alpine forests, grasslands and Tibetan villages are picturesque, and there are many stops to watch the scenery. Passing through Muli Temple, I was in a hurry and gave up the tour. After Guzeng Township, enter National Highway 227, a number of peaks above 4,000 meters above sea level, continuous sharp bends in canyons and cliffs, dozens of kilometers of long downhills, and dozens of kilometers of rockfalls near Shangri-La Town, all make people nervous. At an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, near the fork to the Mana Chajin Observation Deck (the best place to see the three sacred mountains of Aden, you can appreciate the majesty and holiness of the sacred mountains from a near-level perspective), you are fortunate to have a clear view of the magnificent beauty of the snow-capped peaks of the three sacred mountains of Aden reaching the sky. There are still about ten kilometers to the observation deck, and I thought about rushing and did not go to the observation deck.

Accommodation and catering: Living in Shangri-La Town is the first choice for Daocheng Aden, only 6 kilometers away from the scenic spot, relatively low altitude (2900 meters), the basic conditions of accommodation, catering and supermarkets in the town are good, lively and prosperous. We stayed at Daocheng Siruihe Leisure Resort Hotel (Daocheng Aden Hotel), the room is spacious and clean, equipped with oxygen supply equipment, and there are many dining options around, which is comfortable and convenient.
Day 6 itinerary (7.30): Visit Daocheng Aden Scenic Area, continue to stay in the town
Tour:The Daocheng Aden tour route is divided into short and long lines, and there is no connection between the two lines, and the starting point is Chonggu Meadow. Short line: Chonggu Meadow - Xiannai Observation Deck (4100 meters above sea level), passing through Chonggu Temple, Xinbao Lake, Pearl Sea, about 1.5-2 kilometers one way. There are no sightseeing cars, only on foot. The main attraction is the Sennai Snow Mountain. Long line: Chonggu Meadow - Wuze Sea (4,700 meters above sea level), passing through Luorong Cattle Farm and Milk Sea, about 10 kilometers one way. There are battery cars about 6 kilometers from Chonggu Meadow - Luorong Cattle Farm, and you can only walk or ride horses above Luorong Cattle Farm. The area around Luorong Cattle Farm covers most of the scenery.
With our physical condition, we plan to take a short line and then take a car to the Luorong Cattle Farm. In the morning, drive to the gate of the scenic spot, take a sightseeing bus for about 1 hour to Guanbeng Station, and the altitude quickly climbed to more than 4,000 in the 36-kilometer distance. After getting off the bus, my husband and I both felt a little want to vomit, so we took a break and walked about 700 meters to the filming location of "Passing by Your World" - Chonggu Meadow, which is a meandering stream, like a natural bonsai.
Rush to the ancient meadow 
Chonggu Meadow We first went to the short-term attractions, and after going uphill about 1 kilometer to the Xinbao Lake at an altitude of 4080 meters, we saw the whole picture of the highest peak of the Three Sacred Mountains of Aden - Xian Nairi (6032 meters above sea level), the majestic sacred mountain, shaped like a charity and tranquil Buddha, and there are tough and sharp lines like a pyramid, high ridges into the clouds, heroic, and emerald-like Baoxin Lake under your feet. The lake surface is like a reflection of the sacred mountain, which is breathtaking.

Okikoji Temple In order to save energy, we did not go to the Pearl Sea (you can watch the Xiannai Day up close), but returned to Chonggu Meadow and took a battery car to Luorong Cattle Farm. Luorong Cattle Farm (4150 meters above sea level) is surrounded by three sacred mountains and is a good place to see the three sacred mountains. The ranch is full of wildflowers, the three sacred mountains are covered with ice and snow, spotless, walking along the plank road, snow peaks, forests, stream icefalls, alpine grasslands, every step is like stepping into a fairyland. At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the sky darkened, the temperature plummeted, we quickly returned, got on the bus and poured heavy rain, and when we arrived at the gate of the scenic spot at 5 o'clock, it was sunny again.

Luorong Cattle Farm Remarks:1. The ticket for Aden Scenic Area is 266 yuan/person, of which the ticket is 146 yuan/person, valid for 2 days, and the round-trip sightseeing bus ticket is 120 yuan/person. Chonggu Meadow to Luorong Cattle Farm battery ticket sightseeing car round-trip 80 yuan/person. 2. Bring an oxygen tank, walk slowly, and do not carry weight. The weather in the scenic spot can be described as a day and four seasons, wear quick-drying clothes and jackets, and bring raincoats. 3. The sightseeing bus sits on the left side, which is convenient to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains along the way.
Day 7 itinerary (7.31): Shangri-La Town - Luhuo, Suxian County (3250 meters above sea level)
Traffic conditions:After visiting Daocheng Aden and Lugu Lake, the goal of this trip has been basically completed, and it is planned to return in four days, along the way. In order to avoid congestion, it was decided to take Litang-Xinlong-Ganzi-Luhuo-Danba-Dujiangyan-Hanzhong, and visit the Danba Tibetan Village and Siguniang Mountain Shuanggou Bridge Scenic Area along the way. We set off for Daocheng at about 9 a.m., there were not many vehicles, and we arrived at Luhuo at 9 p.m. (it took 1 hour to release the road on the way). Along the way, the grassland carpet of the Litang Plateau at an altitude of more than 4,600 meters, the Shihe Park like entering the moon, the long and steep Yalong River Grand Canyon, and the Baili Highland Barley Gallery as beautiful as oil paintings all interpret the charm of the secret place in western Sichuan.

Accommodation: Luhuo County is not big, as a tourist transit station on National Highway 317, there are more accommodation options, and it is convenient to live anywhere.
Day 8 itinerary (8.1): Luhuo-Jiaju Tibetan Village, Suzang Village (about 2,400 meters above sea level)
Traffic conditions: From Luhuo to Danba Jiaju Tibetan Village via Daofu, all the way smooth. Passing through the Yala Snow Mountain Observation Deck, go down the clear snow water of the Yak Gou River to Danba County.

Yala Snow Mountain Observation Deck Tour: 1 hour tour in Luhuo County in the morning, the small city is built on the Xianshui River, Quiet and clean, on one side of the hillside are densely distributed red and yellow Tibetan houses, known as Little Seda.
Jiaju Tibetan Village is close to Danba County and is an important part of Danba Tibetan Village, which means hundred households in Tibetan. In the height difference of nearly a kilometer in the Dajinhe Canyon, more than 100 Tibetan-style watchtower houses with velvet climb layer by layer with the mountain terrain, standing in a staggered manner among the green tree terraces, known as the most beautiful rural ancient town.
From the visitor center to the scenic spot, you have to walk 6 kilometers of mountain road, the mountain is high and the road is dangerous, and the scenic spot is distributed from bottom to top No. 1-5 observation decks, and you can see the Tibetan villages with different folds of the mountain from different observation decks.The No. 5 observation deck can be seen with ticket pictures to take pictures of the Tibetan village, the No. 4 observation deck can be viewed up close, and the observation decks 1 and 3 are the most lively, and you can enjoy the large area of Tibetan dwellings in the other two folds.
Accommodation:There are many Tibetan-style houses converted into homestays and inns in the scenic area, and the advantages of living in the scenic spot are beautiful scenery, cool wind, and 60% discount on tickets (original price 50 yuan/person), but the disadvantage is that there is no business and limited catering options. Living in Danba County is convenient for dining, but the river valley is dry and warm. We lived near Observation Deck 3 in Danba Jumbu for a while. Rose memory, the B&B has a good geographical location, a quiet environment, an exquisite courtyard design, and a very warm female boss.
Catering: Most people eat in the homestay where they live, just when the mushrooms are on the market, and they taste the chicken mushroom soup pot in the homestay, which tastes very delicious.
Day 9 itinerary (8.2): Jiaju Tibetan Village - Siguniang Mountain Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, stay in the scenic spot
Tour: After visiting the Tibetan village in the morning, set off for the Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area of Siguniang Mountain, visit the middle road of the Tibetan village on the way, pass through Xiaojin County, and visit the Shuanggou Bridge Scenic Area.
The Tibetan language of the middle road is "a good place for people and gods to yearn for", and the Tibetan village on the middle road is one of the places with the highest concentration of Danba watchtowers, with a large number of thousand-year-old stone carvings, and has the reputation of "the country of a thousand watchtowers". The Tibetan village is located in the high mountains of Jinchuan Gorge, with narrow roads and steep slopes, but the village is on a plateau, the terrain is relatively flat, and the view is good. The White Pagoda Observation Deck has a wide view, and the distant mountain canyon and the watchtower Tibetan village are unobstructed, which makes up for our regret that we did not see the watchtower in Jiaju. Compared with the Tibetan village on the middle road, the Tibetan houses in the middle of the road are larger and denser, the scenic spots are more mature, and there are many ancient watchtowers on the middle road, which are more primitive, simple, and free. If you have the chance, you can take a look.

Photographed from the White Pagoda Observation Deck Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area is the most representative, well-developed, and easy to visit ditch in the "three ditches and one mountain" of Siguniang Mountain. The ditch is about 36 kilometers long, and the main attractions are equipped with sightseeing stations, which can easily visit the entire scenic spot without spending much physical effort, and the scenic spot ticket is 150 yuan/person (including sightseeing fare). The scenery in the ditch is diverse, and it is known as "the beautiful back of Siguniang Mountain".
We rushed into the scenic spot before 3:30 (no entry after 3:30), and took a sightseeing bus directly to the deepest part of Shuangqiaogou - Sequoia Forest Station at an altitude of 3,840 meters, which is nearly a kilometer away from the 2,900-meter altitude difference between the ditch and the mouth of the ditch, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and sequoia forests. Then take a car down to tour, stroll along the plank road to watch, and check in turn to check in the scenic spots such as Burada Peak, Sigu Nacuo, Longzhu Cuo, Ginseng Fruit Flat, etc., along the way there are snow-capped mountains of different shapes, wide meadows, clear and quiet lakes, bonsai-like century-old sea buckthorn trees, and the beauty of nature hits the heart again.
Accommodation: Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area is the most popular attraction encountered along the way, and the accommodation in Siguniang Mountain Town, a few kilometers away, is full that day. Accommodation outside the scenic spot is also very tight. It is better to book in advance and live in town.
Catering: There are stalls selling various snacks at Sequoia Forest Station in Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, and there are many types of restaurants and restaurants outside the scenic spot and in the town.
Day 10 itinerary (8.3): Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area - Hanzhong
Departed from Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area at 7 a.m., crossed Balang Mountain, passed Gengda Town, and returned at high speed on Dujiangyan. After crossing Balang Mountain, there is an endless stream of vehicles heading to Siguniang Mountain, and after entering Gengda Town, the summer army is crowded with the town, and the continuous influx of vehicles blocks the long queue, and western Sichuan is worthy of being a good place for tourism and summer vacation.
