A meal at a small Shengsi restaurant can easily cost around 100 yuan. For budget-conscious reasons, it's best to buy your own seafood at the market and have the hotel owner prepare it for you.

The seafood snacks at the fishing port night markets in Sicaiyuan (located on Jinghai Road in Caiyuan Town) and Jinping, also known as "fishing port night stalls," emphasize the freshness of seafood and are full of unique characteristics. The numerous stalls and the large number of diners create a bustling scene.
Dozens of seafood night stalls line the harbor, filling the air with the rich aroma of fish. On the tables, red tigerfish, yellow croaker, and white dragonhead fish; round sand clams, pointed yellow snails, and snarling swimming crabs—it's like stepping into an aquarium.
On a hot summer day, when night falls, it is quite charming to sit by the harbor, savor seafood in the gentle sea breeze, and watch the night scene of the fishing harbor with the mast lights and the bright moon shining against each other.
Seafood barbecue has been available at Shengsi Jihu Beach and Nanchangtu Beach for several years, combining sea fishing with a picnic.
Visitors smear a layer of soy sauce and spicy oil on the surface of the live fish they catch at sea, and grill it on a charcoal stove. Then, they sprinkle a little five-spice powder on it while turning the wire. When the fish is golden brown and fragrant, with crispy skin and tender meat, the unique barbecued seafood is ready to be eaten.

It's best to buy your own seafood at the Caiyuan Town Aquatic Products Market. The hotel owner will accompany you there and process it for you. The processing fee is about 20-25 yuan per person. Note that the processing fee is per person! The taste is similar to that of the restaurant, but the quality is guaranteed.
You can also buy seafood at the market and bring it to your residence, discuss with the owner and cook it yourself, and it will definitely taste extra delicious.
When staying in a family hotel, the owner usually provides breakfast (5-8 yuan/person), which includes white porridge and many side dishes. The more distinctive ones are dried shrimp and salted eggs. They taste good and the portions are large. You will want to drink water after eating, so it is best not to eat too much.
Special note: The standard of each meal at a fisherman's house is different, divided into different grades, and they will let you choose. A meal can be very good for a maximum of 200 yuan. If you eat at a fisherman's house, be sure to ask in advance so that they can prepare it in advance.
