Weekend Shengsi Highlights Tour

Route Features: Visit the main island of Sijiao, where you can enjoy the beaches and beautiful scenery.

D1: Jihu Beach
After arriving in Shanghai, we woke up early on Saturday and went to the Shanghai Nanpu Bridge Tourist Distribution Center to purchase our combined bus and ferry tickets. The bus departed at 8:00 AM, and the ferry departed from Luchao Port at 10:00 AM, arriving at Lizhushan Wharf in Shengsi around 1:00 PM. Lunch was served on the boat, costing 10 RMB per person. Upon arrival at Lizhushan Wharf in Shengsi, we took a 20 RMB taxi to Jinsha Road, near Jihu Beach, and found a family-run hotel (approximately 80 RMB per room for two). In the afternoon, we enjoyed the beauty and warmth of the sea at Jihu Beach, a famous attraction in Shengsi (entrance fee: 40 RMB). We sunbathed, then strolled along the beach at sunset, or took a relaxing dip in the water. We also enjoyed other beachside activities, such as motorboats and beach volleyball. Dinner: We asked our host to prepare a sumptuous seafood feast when we booked our room, which we enjoyed upon our return. The meal cost approximately 100 RMB per two people and was quite good. Evening: If you feel you haven’t had enough fun, you can bring a flashlight, shovel, bucket and other tools to continue catching crabs on Jihu Beach.

D2: Liujingtan → Dabei Mountain → Nanchangtu Beach
We woke up early and arranged a taxi (about 100 yuan) to go to Liujingtan to watch the sunrise over the sea. We then explored other scenic spots, such as Liujingtou and the First Dragon Throne of the East China Sea. The entire scenic area took about an hour and a half. Afterwards, we headed to Dabei Mountain, where we could admire Huanglong Island from the sea. Upon reaching Dabei Mountain, we ascended to the observation deck for a panoramic view of the island, then took in sights such as the Main Hall, Lingdan Temple, and the Heavenly King Hall. The journey took about an hour and a half. We then headed to Nanchangtu Beach, known as the "sister beach" of Jihu Beach. Admission was 20 yuan for a final encounter with the sea. After lunch at a restaurant near Jihu or at our host's house, we boarded the Flying Man boat, which departed at 1:30 PM for our return trip to Shanghai around 5:00 AM. This was the end of our joyful journey.
