The square at the entrance of the village is the most crowded place, especially the King Ginkgo Tree. Although it is bare, it is still majestic and attracts people to take photos and check in. Because I don’t like crowded environments, I walked deeper into the village. An autumn breeze blew and the ginkgo leaves were blown away by the wind, like gorgeous golden butterflies flying in the air, and then fell to the ground, laying a soft golden carpet on the path of the village. As people’s footsteps rose and fell, a faint rustling sound as thin as a cicada’s wing could be heard.

Finally, it was time to enter the village. The traveler gave us a sumptuous farm lunch. The chicken soup with ginkgo nuts in Ginkgo Village was still delicious. The next 4 hours were spent changing clothes and looking for time to take pictures of yellow leaves. The power bank was not fully charged the night before, and the phone ran out of power and shut down halfway through taking pictures. I was so anxious that I had to go back to the inn from time to time to charge it before setting off. Fortunately, the village was not big, and there were only a few alleys to go back and forth. These 4 hours really made up for the regrets of 3 years ago. This time, the time was right. It was the yellowest time. The ancient and continuous ginkgo trees made Chenjiazhai at this moment a beautiful scene of "the village is in the forest, and the forest is in the village". In the alleys, on the walls, on the tile houses, by the ditches, wherever you look, it is all golden. The ginkgo trees here are alive and well, hidden in the embrace of the mountains, and appearing between the smoke of the farms. When the wind blows, the yellow leaves are scattered, as beautiful as an oil painting.

Gudong Ginkgo Village is not far from Tengchong City, but our car was directed into a temporary parking lot far away from the village. We needed to buy a 25 yuan ticket plus a 15 yuan electric car to enter.

It takes a long walk from the battery car to the village entrance. It is said that the villagers do not allow battery cars to enter the village in order to set up stalls along the road. However, the parking lot is full of scalpers who drive into the village with customers.

When we went there, it was early November and the leaves of the ginkgo trees were just beginning to turn yellow. It is said that the best time to see them is in late November.

The overhead wires everywhere are really a nuisance. In the farmyard under the ginkgo tree, the golden carpet has not yet been fully formed.

Relying on the ginkgo trees, every household has started a farmhouse. The most famous tree in the village is the Ginkgo King. The original name of Ginkgo Village is Jiang. There are more than 30,000 ginkgo trees in the village. There are many stalls and a bustling crowd of people. There is no sense of tranquility that an ancient village should have.

A small ginkgo tree has brought popularity to a small village in a border town, but the noisy environment and dirty streets make people not want to come here again.

The most beautiful time in Tengchong Ginkgo Village is from November 10th to early December, when the ginkgo leaves in the entire village begin to turn yellow and fall!

We arrived at Ginkgo Village on December 5th, and the ginkgo leaves had basically fallen! We can only say that we caught the last tail! If you want to see the ginkgo leaves in Tengchong, it is recommended to visit from November 10th to the end of November, when it should be very beautiful!

I suggest you find a more remote farmhouse where the price may be different! The prices of various things in the village are different and you can bargain, so you should compare them carefully.

Ginkgo Village requires an entrance fee. About two to three hours is enough. If you have more time for dinner, it is a good idea to eat ginkgo nuts stewed with chicken in a farmyard. You can also buy some ginkgo cakes, which are delicious.

The accommodation conditions of the farmhouses here are average. If you are a photography enthusiast, you can choose to stay for one night.

I don't recommend going there. I personally think that the ginkgo trees in the Dali Three Pagodas Scenic Area are more beautiful than this one. You need to walk about 1 kilometer from the parking lot of the scenic area, otherwise you can choose to pay for a battery car or rent a bicycle. There are no free items starting from the parking lot. Even the toilets in the village cost 1 yuan. The roads are full of villagers pulling you to buy ginkgo wreaths, countless stalls, and the ginkgo leaves in the village are trampled into pieces. This may be the place where I have come to Yunnan with the greatest hope but ended up being the most disappointed after so many times. It is really not an exaggeration to say that it is dirty and messy. It is dirty and messy and the charges are extremely high. After returning, I read other people's travel notes saying that you have to go to a slightly farther village to see ginkgo leaves. This village closest to the gate of the scenic area has been commercialized to the extreme. I will explore it next time. Anyway, I am very disappointed this time! ! (ps. Be sure to find out the state of the ginkgo leaves in advance, so that you can easily take great photos. I was a little early this time, and the ginkgo leaves had not yet completely turned golden. Of course, even so, in the early winter, the place, which was originally a village, also had a very strong commercial atmosphere, which was different from the natural simplicity and slow pace of Heshun. In addition, I also did some research and found that except for a few B&Bs with a unit price of more than 600 per night, the conditions of other B&Bs were still not satisfactory. I was very glad that I gave up the plan of staying in other B&Bs there for one night because I didn't book that high-end B&B.

I guess not many people climbed up the ancient battlefield to take pictures of the sunset. That is the most unique viewing point of Ginkgo Village. The crater in the distance, the golden ginkgo trees, villages and fields nearby are comparable to Hemu. The people in the village are quite friendly. They warmly welcome you to sit in every courtyard and take pictures. It doesn't matter if you don't have a meal. What's interesting is that the old ladies selling wreaths at the parking lot at the entrance of the village lined up in an orderly manner, one person following one car. Overall, the scenery is good, and the locals seem to be carefully guarding the reputation of Ginkgo Village. But accommodation in the peak season is expensive, so it is recommended to find it now during non-holidays.

I just went to Ginkgo Village today. Let me tell you about the way backpackers travel independently: take the bus to the West Gate Bus Station (corner building), and then take the minibus directly to Ginkgo Village. The cost is 12 yuan. I thought it was taken directly to the village entrance, but in fact the minibus was going to Gudong. It passed the Ginkgo Village intersection (it is about 10 minutes to drive from this intersection to Ginkgo Village) and sold the guests going to Ginkgo Village to the local villagers. You give the villagers another 25 yuan (ticket fee), and the villagers will take you directly to Ginkgo King (the real village entrance). You save the cost of taking the scenic area battery car. Of course, you need to walk to the parking lot by yourself when you return, which takes about ten to twenty minutes. Then I took a rural passenger transport minivan that I met by chance back to Tengchong County, and the driver charged 20 yuan. The scenery, please see the picture.

Many friends who took part in this colorful Yunnan self-driving tour came here for the Ginkgo Village in Gudong, Tengchong. However, they were very disappointed when they arrived. There were too many tourists in the Ginkgo Village, the shops were arranged in a messy manner, and the tranquility of the entire ancient village was broken.

Gudong Ginkgo Village is located in Jiangdong Village, Jiangdong Town, in the north of Tengchong County, Baoshan. It is adjacent to the National Volcanic Geopark in the west and 35 kilometers away from Tengchong County. The scenic area includes four natural villages: Chenjiazhai, Baxin, Jiangyun, and Sihe. There are more than 2,000 acres of ginkgo trees planted in the area. From November to December, the small mountain village is wrapped in golden yellow by the tall ginkgo trees.

1. There is a "Ginkgo Square" when you enter the scenic area and arrive at Jiangyun Village. The ginkgo trees are concentrated, old and have large crowns. It is very beautiful and easy to take pictures.

2. Walk from east to west towards the depths of Chenjiazhai, Baxin Village and Sihe Village. The real beauty is in the alleys and courtyards. The most beautiful scenery of Ginkgo Village is in late November and December. When I arrived in early October, I only saw a little bit of yellow leaves, and there were many green leaves, including the Ginkgo King, which has a high status in the village. Most of the houses in the village have been converted into small hotels and homestays. They all surround a small courtyard with a few tables in the courtyard. You can eat and drink tea, look at the fallen leaves, and the ground is golden. The poetic mood can't be described in words, only personal experience. There is no direct bus to Ginkgo Village. Generally, you can charter a car in the city for 100 yuan to reach the parking lot, and then change to the scenic area environmental protection car to enter. In fact, the road you change to is not far, only two kilometers. Those who like hiking don't need to spend another 10 yuan to take the environmental protection car, you can walk directly. Only local villagers can drive in. If the season is here, you will see golden ginkgo leaves when you look up, and you will also see gold when you look down. It's like being in a dream world.

The ginkgo season in autumn and winter is really beautiful. The tickets are not expensive, but the food and accommodation are not cheap. There is no direct bus, but you can share a car at the entrance of Tengchong West Bus Station, which costs 20 yuan to get to the entrance of the scenic area.

Either refund the money or accept to stay at a relative's house, but the wifi is faulty and the hot water is irregular. It may be rented at a higher price. If you are a photography enthusiast, you can not toss it. The scenery itself is beautiful, but the man-made pollution is too great. Even if you go out early and come back late, the scenery is pitfalls. When the sun comes out, a carload of aunts and uncles also come. In general, it is barely okay to take a few good-looking pictures, but it is too difficult to take big pictures, and the same is true for the post-production. Not to mention the original picture control. The golden viewing period is only two weeks, which is relatively fixed every year, about one week in the morning and evening. If you want to go, go early.

In the Ginkgo Village of Tengchong, Yunnan, there used to be a huge ginkgo tree in the village, which required several adults to hug it. According to legend, Liu Bei once tied his horse to this tree during the Three Kingdoms period, so the villagers are very proud of it. There is also a Ginkgo Temple under this tree. Because the tree is so big and the temple is in a unique location, it is visited by many tourists and is well-known from far and wide, hence the name Ginkgo Village.

I was going to give it 5 stars, but ended up giving it 4 stars. The reason for giving it 4 stars is that the travel company was a bit of a scam. They stopped our group of four about 2 kilometers away. We had no choice but to take a tour bus. We spent 60 yuan in vain. The scenery was beautiful, and the food was OK.

In October, Ginkgo Village is still green. It is a village with poor management and no sense of simplicity. Compared with Zhinan Village in Lin'an, Zhinan Village is much cleaner.

The ticket price for Ginkgo Village is 20 yuan in the off-season and 40 yuan in the peak season. Since we were a hitchhiker with a local license plate and the car drove directly into Ginkgo Village, we didn't buy a ticket. Although Ginkgo Village was green in the off-season, it was still interesting. There were very few tourists in the village, and the farmhouses were basically closed. There were old men pulling two cows on the street, walking slowly. The real Ginkgo King is not the one marked "Ginkgo King" at the entrance of Ginkgo Village. After the place where you buy tickets, walk to the entrance of the village. Ginkgo Village is on the right and another village is on the left. The real Ginkgo King is in the village on the left and has been there for more than 1,450 years. There are more than 3,000 ginkgo trees in Ginkgo Village, but the trees are not concentrated. Most of them are in the courtyards or in front of and behind the villagers' houses. The village is not big, and you can see green farmland in a short time.

We walked around Ginkgo Village for 2 hours. If we just want to experience the scenery of Ginkgo Village, 2 hours is enough, but if we want to have a full enjoyment, it may take a whole day.

Although the leaves of the ginkgo are still green, the innkeeper strongly recommends it, so I still went for a walk. I took a ride from the county town for 43 yuan. The driver was very nice and took us directly into the village, avoiding the 20 yuan ticket per person. The ginkgo king at the entrance of the village is not as good as the one in the village on the left, which is more than 1,400 years old. The width is at least one-third different. There are no large tracts of ginkgo forests in the village. The forest at the entrance of the village is obviously planted in recent years. The older trees are in the yards of every household. Because it is the off-season, many farmhouses and shops are closed, and tourists are very rare. The air here is very good. Walking slowly to the village path, walking through the mossy walls and ginkgo trees of various sizes, there is a very leisurely feeling. Even on rainy days, it is also very pleasant to stroll around the village with an umbrella. If you have enough time, you can go shopping.

The rooster crowed at dawn, and the first morning in Ginkgo Village arrived. At dawn, the white mist was still lingering outside the window. Walking out of the house and walking outside the village, the countryside was full of frost and dew on the grass, as if you were in a white fairy tale world related to frost.

Looking back suddenly, behind the frost eaves and tiles, the crisscrossing yellow that cannot be concealed has filled the eyes. The morning sun melted the cold and closed the door to the frosty world. But it brought the smoke from ordinary people's cooking, gradually blurring the mountain streams, forests and countryside. Running freely in the vast fields, let the boiling blood burn; the colorful colors, the crisscrossing paths, the ribbons of the earth show us endless potential and creativity. Although I am not an artist, let alone artistic attainments, the natural painting can always knock on the hearts of mortals. The cultivated land is meticulous and neat, and the forest is free and boundless; I hope the two will always depend on each other and coexist peacefully. On the other side, endless yellow and blue meet at the horizon. It turns out that there is a family next to every century-old ginkgo tree. Although it is winter, all kinds of bright flowers and plump fruits can be seen everywhere beside the paths and in the walls of people's courtyards, fully decorating the village.

The red lanterns reminded me of the commercialization of Ginkgo Village. Most of these red lanterns are the signs of farmhouses. The more red lanterns there are in the village, the more commercialized Ginkgo Village is. In recent years, many people have begun to complain that the village has been infiltrated by too many commercial elements, and negative comments have been coming one after another.

Due to the special nature of ginkgo, its "golden time" is only about twenty days each year. It is normal for Ginkgo Village to be extremely popular. As long as you keep a calm mind, I believe everyone can discover their own beautiful scenery.

If you want to go to Ginkgo Village from Tengchong City, go to Ximen Bus Station and take the bus to Gudong Town, and get off at the Ginkgo Village intersection (the intersection is more than 5 kilometers away from the ticket office). The fare is 7 yuan. During the Ginkgo season, there will be a free shuttle bus at the intersection to the ticket office. There are also special vans that go directly to Ginkgo Village, but they will only leave when they are full, and the fare is 20 yuan.

There is no shuttle bus to the intersection when leaving the village, so you can share a car at the parking lot or take a minivan back to Tengchong. The fare is 20 yuan. The ticket office is less than 2 kilometers away from the entrance of the village. All private cars are parked here. If you want to enter the village, you need to take a sightseeing bus, and the fare is 10 yuan one way.

PS: The best time to visit Ginkgo Village is from November 20 to December 10, which may be a few days earlier or later depending on the climate of the year. It was a little late when I went there, and many big trees had already lost half of their leaves. I heard from the locals that if I could go there 5 days earlier, I could see the most beautiful Ginkgo Village. The entire Ginkgo Village, if you remove the ginkgo, is basically the same as an ordinary village. In addition, it has become more famous in recent years, so the entire village has a strong commercial climate.

Every household in Ginkgo Village has a ginkgo tree. Some of the ginkgo trees are hundreds of years old, so their leaves fall early, and the ground beneath the trees is golden yellow.

The clear and bright sunshine on the plateau makes each ginkgo tree extremely eye-catching and even more dazzling against the backdrop of the blue sky.

I have longed to visit Tengchong's Ginkgo Village for a long time. Two months before I planned to go there, I paid attention to the specific time when the leaves of the ginkgo trees turned yellow. Finally, I waited for the most beautiful moment and booked an inn in Gudong Ginkgo Village in advance. The innkeeper picked us up and we could get in for free. Staying for one night was enough for a day of fun!

If the leaves are yellow enough, or can turn yellow together, the scenery is still very good, but unfortunately the weather has a big impact this year. The parking lot is deliberately set up one kilometer away, and then the sightseeing buses are charged, which leads to chaotic management and is scolded. It is really not worth it.

Ginkgo Village is 35 kilometers away from Tengchong City. It has a natural ginkgo forest of more than 10,000 mu, with more than 3,000 ancient ginkgo trees, and another 1,000 mu of young trees, about 33,000 trees [1]. Among them, there are more than ten trees over 1,000 years old, more than 400 trees over 500 years old, more than 740 trees over 400 years old, more than 1,000 trees between 200 and 300 years old, more than 1,800 trees over 30 years old, and 4,200 trees over 20 years old. The village produces more than 550,000 kilograms of dried ginkgo nuts annually. The best tourist season is from November to December!

Ginkgo Village has started to charge entrance fees, 55 yuan per person. The innkeeper found someone to pick us up and took us into the village, and only charged 20 yuan per person. For us, we spent less money and achieved our goal, so we didn't care whether there were any receipts. I wanted to "see" the Ginkgo Village because I was so fascinated by its golden color. To be honest, I also knew that this time was the peak season for Ginkgo Village. Although I was mentally prepared, I was still a little disappointed when I entered the village. It was not because the leaves were not yellow enough, but because there were too many people.

I went to Ginkgo Village by rural bus. I booked tickets in advance on Tongcheng and saved the money for two bottles of water. I walked 1.8 kilometers to the core village, but the golden leaves of the trees had passed, and more than 80% of the leaves had fallen. There were still some scattered, but this did not affect the mood of the beauty-loving ladies. The exquisite and elegant houses were full of beautiful figures looking for leaves and chasing the scenery. The farmhouse firewood chicken ginkgo soup and bacon I ate there the night before were very delicious. The scenic area management company is Oriental Garden. I used to study gardening and dreamed of joining this company. Alas, it's all past. They are holding a folk festival recently. I went to experience the cliff swing. To be honest, it was quite scary. There was a little girl sitting on the swing and screaming heartbreakingly. It was so hard. It made me laugh to death. There is also a glass platform, a good place to take pictures. There is a lower canyon in front of you. The umbrellas on the canyon plank road are quite beautiful. The scenic area is still doing things with heart. I bought some ginkgo nuts and stewed chicken back, which was worth the trip. I went to Ginkgo Village by rural bus. I chose to go there at the end of November just to see the ginkgo trees. Unfortunately, I went there a little too early. Only about 40% of the leaves had turned yellow, and many were still green. But I felt a different Ginkgo Village, and the photos I took were still beautiful.

When I went there, the ginkgo trees were still green. It felt like a homestay everywhere, and you could go in and take pictures. There were corns hanging under the eaves, which were said to be for feeding chickens.

I met those aunties who wanted to buy wreaths in the parking lot, but they were actually quite pitiful. After all, they were in the countryside and had no place to make money. There are more than 3,000 ginkgo trees, of which more than 50 are over 500 years old and more than 70 are over 400 years old. The best viewing period is from late October to December every year!

We went there in early December. When we saw that they were going to charge an entrance fee, we looked for a farm stay online and asked them to find someone to take us in. It was 20 yuan per person. We had chicken stewed with ginkgo nuts, which was very delicious. There has been a lot of rain this year, so the leaves didn't turn yellow until December, and the whole city was covered in golden armor, which was very beautiful. We bought two pounds of ginkgo nuts for 25 yuan each. We ate them when we made soup at home. It was nutritious and not very commercialized. The villagers were very simple and honest. I highly recommend going there.

We were in Ginkgo Village on November 26th, late autumn. Every year at this time, the trees and the ground are all golden, but this year, it was too warm! No frost yet, and the ginkgo trees were only half yellow. The villagers said that the best season this year would be December 8th-10th. We were really unlucky.

Ginkgo Village is not very big, but there are quite a few people coming here. The commercial atmosphere is very strong. The entrance ticket to the village is 40 yuan. When you drive to the designated parking lot, there will be people soliciting customers for food and accommodation, and there are also people selling flowers everywhere. The parking lot is about one kilometer away from the entrance of the village. People who like to walk don't need to take the sightseeing bus. The village environment is very beautiful. Some farmhouses are very beautiful against the backdrop of ginkgo trees. The village is not big and can be visited in 2 or 3 hours. I walked through all the alleys, big and small. Some places are quiet and beautiful with few people. It is comfortable to bask in the warm sunshine. It is recommended to come, but choose a good time. It will not be outstanding without ginkgo trees.

Transportation: You can take the rural bus from Tengchong County to Gudong and you will go here. You can also charter a car for 100 yuan. We were 2 people at the time, round trip. If there are many people, it is recommended to charter a car, because you have to transfer there, and the cost is about the same.

Accommodation: There are many accommodations, but the price at that time was around 380. It is enough to go there for a day.
