The spring behind you is gushing with hot air and water vapor, like smoke and fog. The scenic area is very large, and climbing the mountain requires a certain amount of physical strength.

A must-see when visiting Tengchong, the scenic spot has a nice environment and is located halfway up a mountain. As soon as you enter the scenic area, you can see the steaming geothermal water and smell the strong smell of sulfur.

Tickets are 78/person. There are many hot springs in Chongqing. I am not very interested in this one. It is just a check-in tour. The temperature is very high and it is still very imposing. The fountain has high temperature and high pressure, so pay attention to safety.

Entering the Atami Valley, you will see the hot air rising up and the valley filled with steam. You can also see many pores in the valley spewing out mist.

What’s even more interesting is that most tourists carry eggs along the way, looking for places to steam and boil eggs. Carry? That’s right, this is one of the 18 strange things in Yunnan, selling eggs in strings. Use straw to weave a long bag, put a string of raw eggs in it, and carry it around. This strange thing is rare outside of Tengchong.

The water of Rehai Hot Spring is soft, high in temperature and highly mineralized. Soaking in the hot spring here is extremely beneficial to the body.

The most attractive thing in the scenic area is the "Hot Sea Hot Pot", a circular hot spring pool with a diameter of 6 meters and a water temperature of about 96 degrees. The eggs cooked in the hot pot are strung together with straw for 5 yuan each. It is a must-try and almost all tourists buy them.

Tickets: 60 yuan for adults; 268 yuan for Rehai Yugu Hot Spring, 238 yuan for Rehai Meilingchi Hot Spring. The whole scenic area is not very large, and 2 hours of sightseeing time is enough.

The scenery of Atami is very ordinary. You can smell the strong smell of sulfur not far from the scenic area, and the heat is everywhere. However, this special geological landform is still worth knowing. The Atami Big Boiling Pot is the highlight of the scenic spot. Put the eggs in the steamer next to the big boiling pot. It is said that they can be steamed in fifteen minutes. But there were many people on the day we went, and people kept opening the lid. The egg was not cooked for more than 20 minutes. If there are many people, it is recommended to steam it for half an hour.

There are also battery cars in the scenic area, from the gate of the scenic area to the entrance of Rehai, one-way 15 yuan, round trip 25 yuan, one-way driving about 5 minutes. You can also walk to the entrance in about 15 minutes.

The hot springs are very nice, not very developed, and surrounded by nature

This is the best hot spring that our family has traveled all over China. We soaked in it for a day and felt very comfortable. It also cured our dandruff.

The attractions exceeded expectations. The natural landscapes formed by sulfur minerals in various geothermal springs along the way are paintings from nature, which are awe-inspiring. The hot spring eggs are great, and the taste is really different after being fumigated by geothermal heat! [Transportation] There is a direct minibus at the bus station of the urban tourist bus station. There are almost no people in the off-season. It takes about half an hour to get there, and it only costs 3 yuan.

The "Rehai Big Boiling Pot" was packed with people. The ticket + beauty bath + rice noodle cost about 270 yuan. I felt that only this bowl of rice noodle was worth the trip!

It takes almost 2 hours to visit without taking the hot springs. You don't have to take the car inside. Not only will you miss some scenery if you don't go far. Potatoes and peanuts are good. You can buy eggs and salted duck eggs at the door and steam them for 10 minutes.

In each bathing place, you can also drink chrysanthemum tea, Pu'er tea, and sour papaya juice. Here I especially recommend sour papaya juice!!! I can't stop drinking it

At the end of the bath, I also used the geothermal steam. Don’t forget to lay a towel when doing so.

After experiencing everything, there are free buffet food such as Hot Sea steamed eggs, steamed potatoes, steamed peanuts, purple rice porridge, pumpkin porridge, white fungus soup, jujube, tortoise jelly, watermelon, etc.

After leaving the locker room, don’t forget to take the electric car to eat the free rice noodles, which taste delicious.

Common supplies such as bath towels, shower gel and shampoo are provided free of charge, just like in bathing centers.

The water quality is said to be the best in Tengchong. It is worth the trip. It can be said to be the top 1 must-see in Tengchong.

In addition to the volcanoes, Tengchong also has many hot springs. The Rehai Park of Tengchong Volcano Geothermal National Geopark is a concentrated embodiment of Tengchong's geothermal landscapes such as hot springs, steam cones, waterfalls, and rivers.

However, this season is the peak season and the hot spring pool is crowded, so we gave up this arrangement.

As the saying goes, if you haven't been to Rehai, you haven't been to Tengchong, and if you haven't soaked in hot springs, you haven't been to Rehai. (You can see the traces of the 4A to 5A change in the picture) The ticket price of the newly promoted 5A scenic spot in August 2016 has now risen to 270 yuan. There are many gas springs and hot springs along the way. The Big Boiling Pot is located at the end of all the scenic spots. There are two hot springs in the scenic area for tourists to recuperate - Rehai Beauty Pool and Love Bath Valley. The Beauty Pool is located in the front half of the scenic area. There are tourists passing by above it, which feels awkward. The Spring Valley Hot Spring is located next to the Big Boiling Pot and is also the focus of the itinerary. The environment and the number of springs are better.

It's a very interesting place, steaming everywhere. Eggs are cheaper outside the gate, but more expensive inside the scenic area.

The children came here just for the boiled eggs, so they bought a bunch of eggs at the entrance of the scenic spot, and jogged all the way to the highest point, which was the large boiling pot in Rei. A staff member used tongs to put the eggs into the boiling pit next to the boiling pot, and they were cooked in about 20 minutes, and they were indeed fully cooked.
