Anhui's premier collection of famous books is located on Yanyudun, Jinghu Road, Wuhu City. A Ying was a renowned modern writer, dramatist, literary historian, and bibliophile. His collection of over 12,930 books is on display in his archives, including 8,000 bound volumes of ancient books, as well as hundreds of manuscripts, stage photos, and the magazine Cangmang, which he edited in his early years. Wang Ying was a Chinese dramatist, film actor, and writer.
The Wang Ying Exhibition Room displays many items such as Wang Ying's photos, manuscripts, and relics from the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Hong was a famous modern Chinese educator and bibliophile, and a pioneer of higher education in my country.
The Hong Collection Exhibition Room houses 1,358 titles and 14,157 volumes of ancient books donated by Mr. Hong during his lifetime. Most of these books are stone-printed and finely engraved editions from the Qing Dynasty, with several particularly valuable Ming Dynasty Wanli editions. Also featured are rare calligraphy and paintings, Palace Museum monthly publications, and Han and Tang Dynasty inscriptions, all of which are of great value. The rich cultural atmosphere and tranquil natural scenery of Yanyudun blend seamlessly, captivating visitors from both China and abroad.
