Qishu Lake is located 3 kilometers southwest of Hongcun Village and 10 kilometers from the county seat. It takes about half an hour to walk from Xieli Ancient Village to Qishu Lake (downstream of Nanhu Lake).

Qishu Lake, formerly known as the Dongfanghong Reservoir, reaches depths of dozens of meters at its deepest points. Its vibrant scenery, with its shimmering blue waters, resembles a virgin, shrouded in mist and rain. In autumn, large patches of pink flowers gradually sprout along the lake's edge, painting the riverbank a striking shade of rosy pink, a visual feast. During years when the reservoir's water level is low, the exposed riverbed becomes covered in grass and wildflowers, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
