Day 2 Huizhou City → Wuyuan → Sanqingshan

All day

8:00 In the morning, after breakfast, we drove to [Wuyuan Huangling] to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the clear water river bay.

Huangling is a masterpiece of human culture, and its autumn sun-drying is a symbol of folk custom. Take a sightseeing cable car into Huangling Ancient Village, where dozens of ancient Hui-style dwellings are scattered across a valley with a hundred-meter drop. Every home features windows for natural light, and racks for drying produce. In spring, bamboo shoots and bracken are dried; in autumn, red peppers, rice, and soybeans are dried. This creates a masterpiece of folk customs that continues in an orderly manner year-round. Passing through the ancient village, you'll find some of China's most spectacular terraced rice fields. Walk across a glass cable bridge, then descend to admire the Wuyuan terraces in spring before returning to the ancient village via another cable bridge.

12:00 For lunch, we will have free time to eat at the food street in Huangling Scenic Area.

In the afternoon, we left the scenic area and checked into the hotel at the foot of Sanqing Mountain, making it convenient for our trip to Sanqing Mountain the next day.

We woke up at 7:30 and had breakfast before setting off.

Around 10:00 AM, we set off lightly and took the Sanqingshan Classic Loop Route. First, we visited the Sunshine Coast, where a several-kilometer-long high-altitude plank road soared into the air.

Around 12:00, we will take out the dry food we brought with us and have a cloud-fog lunch. After the meal, we will continue our journey and visit the Taoist holy land - Sanqing Palace Scenic Area, Ge Hong's alchemy site, Dragon and Tiger Hall, Feixiantai, etc., which allow tourists to deeply experience the Taoist culture. Then we will come to the West Coast Scenic Area, which is the high-altitude plank road - Xihai Plank Road, Guanyin Sending Child, Jade Girl Presenting Flowers, etc. Energetic tourists can wait for the glorious sunset on the west coast here.

As Sanqing Mountain is located on a high ground, it is often shrouded in clouds and mist before and after rain, and there is a certain probability of heavy fog. Please keep calm and take things as they come when you go out for fun.

When the sunset faded, we returned to the hotel, had dinner, played mahjong, and truth or dare in the evening. We decided what to do, haha!!!
