Xiamen Calligraphy Square is located outside the Zengcuo section of the Ring Road, stretching from Shengma Temple in the east to the opposite of the Yiyuan Hotel in the west. The square's design theme is "Writing the Heart of Ludao, Showcasing the Ocean's Elegance," employing the design technique of "using the sky as paper and the sea as ink." The eastern section, dedicated to calligraphy, features a "Book" area, a static landscape area featuring landscapes such as the Four Treasures of the Study, a collection of calligraphy relics, and a resting pen holder gallery. The square showcases the works of renowned calligraphers throughout Chinese history and contemporary Xiamen calligraphers.

This is the first calligraphy-themed square in the country, gathering calligraphy works by famous calligraphers from ancient and modern times across the country. In the future, it will not only be a place for people to take a leisurely stroll, but also a good place for people to appreciate calligraphy, exchange ideas on calligraphy, popularize knowledge about the four treasures of the study, and learn about calligraphy allusions.
