Xiamen Buzheng Park, located above the Wucun Tunnel on Lianban Chenggong Avenue (Longshan Bridge Station), covers an area of ​​26,700 square meters and comprises a Laozi Cultural Zone, a Community Living Zone, and a Storytelling Culture Zone. The Laozi Cultural Zone, with a statue of Laozi as its backdrop, showcases the cultural essence of Laozi through the bronze sculpture "Laozi Exiting the Mountain" and the 81-chapter display of the Tao Te Ching. The park was completed and opened in early June 2011.

　This community park is themed around the principles of "non-contention" and "inaction." The bronze sculpture "Laozi Leaving the Fortress" depicts Laozi riding a green ox. The statue depicts Laozi, a thin figure dressed in green, with a long, flowing beard, evoking a Taoist spirit. He sits atop a green ox, preaching, and the ox strides westward. Why west? It means "westward out of the Fortress." The base of the statue is shaped like the Bagua, surrounded by five stone bamboo scrolls containing passages from the Tao Te Ching.

The Tao Te Ching, known as the "King of All Classics," has profoundly influenced ancient Chinese philosophy, science, politics, and religion. Hu Shi even called it the forefather of ancient Chinese philosophy. The first part is called the Tao Te Ching, and the second part is called the Virtue Te Ching. It consists of 81 chapters. It advocates the philosophy of "ruling by inaction."
