Introducing Shanjinei

Shanji is an undeveloped subtropical rainforest area within Tongan's Yunding Mountain. Ascending along a meandering mountain stream, visitors encounter graceful springs, oddly shaped rocks, and lush forests. This breathtaking landscape, woven together by shade trees, wildflowers, and flowing streams, has captivated countless hikers from Xiamen and surrounding areas.

Shanji Nei is the name of a village in Tingxi Town, Tong'an District, Xiamen, nestled against Yunding Mountain. The classic Xiamen outdoor trail, "Shanji Nei River Tracing and Maple Viewing," takes place in a valley flowing from Yunding Mountain. Because it passes through Shanji Nei Village, the valley has become known as "Shanji Nei."
