The Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall is a social and historical celebrity memorial hall. It will become the main collection institution of Tan Kah Kee's cultural relics and materials, a publicity and education institution, and a scientific research institution, giving full play to the social education function and role of the museum, making it a patriotic education base, lifelong education classroom and cultural and leisure facility that the people love, serving to build a harmonious society and promote Xiamen's economic construction and social development.

The main building of the Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall spans three floors. The first floor houses administrative offices, a cultural relic storage area, a library, a lecture hall, and a 1,000-square-meter temporary exhibition hall. The second and third floors comprise a 360-square-meter introductory hall and four 780-square-meter exhibition halls, totaling approximately 3,080 square meters. The Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall features two primary exhibits: Halls 1 through 3 feature "The Flag of Overseas Chinese, the Glory of the Nation—The Life of Tan Kah Kee," and Hall 4 features "By Tan Kah Kee's Side—The Kah Kee Phenomenon: A Walk of Sincerity and Perseverance."
