Dapingshan Country Park, located next to the Haicang Bridge in Haicang District, is the first of the four major country parks outside the island built by Xiamen, and is also the closest municipal ecological leisure park to Xiamen Island.

The park is built on the mountainside and focuses on natural ecology. There are two valley streams and a mist forest system installed. It is turned on at a fixed time every day, just like natural mist rising slowly, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere. It is a good place for leisure and fitness.
