Introducing Gospel Hall

The Gulangyu Gospel Hall was built between 1901 and 1903 with donations from Chinese believers of the London Missionary Society's Taishan Church and Guanai Church. It is located at the foot of Riguang Rock and can accommodate about a thousand people.

In 1958, Gospel Hall Pastor Zhou Qingze went to the countryside to work. That same year, Chinese Christianity implemented joint worship, and the staff of the Gospel Hall and the Preaching Hall were merged into Trinity Church. The Gospel Hall building was occupied by a high-frequency factory, causing damage to the building. The church reclaimed the property in 1987, and in 2001, it opened the Lily Garden Elderly Care Home within the Gospel Hall.
