Introducing Wenzeng Road

Located in the southwest of Xiamen Island, Wenzeng Road stretches 5.33 kilometers in a north-south direction. Its northernmost point intersects Xiahe Road and Houdaixi Road. The route continues along Wenping Road, crosses the Yuping Mountain Pass, passes the west side of Shangli Reservoir, and descends to Zengcuo. Its southern terminus intersects with Huandao Road. The area it passes through features a low-lying terrain with a high center, a relative height difference of approximately 80 meters. It connects to existing Xiamen roads at both ends, and the middle section passes the Yuping Mountain Pass.

Wenzeng Road is designed as an ecotourism route. Traversing mountains and hills, its construction was meticulously designed to preserve the natural vegetation along its ridges, minimizing its original appearance. The landscape design pursues a natural and unadorned style. A stroll along the path reveals verdant hills, bamboo groves, flowing water, and wooden houses framed by fences. The enigmatic "Strange Slope," the tranquil rural charm of the mountains, and the poetic gardens along the way create a feeling of being transported to a beautiful painting. Adjacent to the "Strange Slope" are realistic rock formations and artificial ditches, constructed to prevent pedestrians from falling. Furthermore, the cobblestone-paved fitness trail and the evocative rocks create a natural and refreshing atmosphere.
