The park's overall architectural style reflects Fujian-style architecture, and the design and naming of its hot spring pools draw on legends, allusions, couplets, and poems from Fuzhou's 1,700- year history of hot spring culture.
The hot springs in the park are drawn from the deep well source of Wusi Road. The water is clear and transparent, rich in various minerals and trace elements. It has certain therapeutic effects on rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, neurasthenia, colds, and beauty, whitening and smoothing the skin.
Yuanmai Hot Spring Park has 31 open-air hot spring pools (including hot spring courtyards), 7 hot spring courtyards with added ingredients, 7 hot spring houses , 18 indoor luxury hot spring SPA rooms , a SPA hydrotherapy pool, a children's paddling pool, an open-air movie, a lounge, a chess and card room, a specialty snack bar, an indoor constant temperature swimming pool, an indoor basketball court, a gym, a multi-functional conference room, etc.
