Fuzhou Zuohai Underwater World—Located in the scenic Zuohai Park in Fuzhou, this attraction, founded with an investment of over 50 million yuan by the Fujian Longchuan Group, boasts an exhibition area of over 3,000 square meters, showcasing nearly 1,000 species and over 10,000 marine animals. This large-scale marine animal exhibition hall integrates viewing, entertainment, and education, and has been designated a provincial and municipal science education base. Zuohai Underwater World comprises a tropical rainforest hall, an ocean fish hall, an ocean theater, an underwater tunnel, an audio-visual education hall, a marine specimen hall, a penguin hall, and an ocean shopping center. It also features a Ferris wheel and a flying chair.
The underwater world showcases aquatic animals native to the Amazon River's pristine rainforest, vines native to the surrounding tropical rainforest, and a rich variety of marine and coral reef fish, offering a truly delightful and relaxing experience. The underwater tunnel, a key element of Zuohai Underwater World, is over 50 meters long and constructed using state-of-the-art acrylic glass technology. Acrylic glass boasts high water pressure resistance, high transparency, and excellent visual quality. The tunnel holds nearly 1,000 tons of water and showcases over 100 species of marine life, including ferocious great white sharks, docile leopard and Fuji sharks, as well as colorful tropical fish, including rare species such as the "African Prince," the "Ocelot," the Chinese alligator, walrus, angelfish, and butterfly fish.
