Gulangyu People's Stadium, also known as "Ma Youhan Stadium," is located at 7 Zhonghua Road. Ma Youhan, a native of Gulangyu, became a sports star when he won the one-mile race by 50 yards at the 1905 "International Games" hosted by the Shanghai YMCA. He also won the 880-yard race at the 1910 National Games in Nanjing.
