Within Wushipu and its surrounding area, covering approximately 0.25 square kilometers, there are over 4,000 painters and art workers, nearly 200 art shops, approximately 10,000 people engaged in oil painting logistics, and approximately 3,000 people working in supporting industries such as canvas, brushes, and frame production. In 2007, the village achieved an output value of 600 million yuan. By tapping into resources, integrating the market, and extending and lengthening the industrial chain, the output value of oil painting accessories and frame components is expected to reach 635 million yuan this year. On February 8, 2006, the village was designated a "China Cultural (Arts) Industry Demonstration Base" by the China Artists Association and the Industry Department of the Ministry of Culture of China.
