Built in 1983, the Xiamen Sports Center is located on the eastern section of Hubin North Road, covering an area of ​​21 hectares. Backed by mountains and facing the lake, the center boasts a beautiful environment, shaded by trees and fragrant flowers. Dotted with sculptures and architectural details, it possesses the characteristics of a sports park.

The central stadium covers an area of ​​five hectares and has supporting facilities such as a standard track and field stadium with 30,000 seats, a standard lighted football field, and a large electronic display screen for electric timing and scoring.

The badminton training hall covers an area of ​​3,700 square meters and has 24 training venues and corresponding service facilities. It is currently the largest badminton training hall in my country. Xiamen Wang Wenjiao Badminton Training Center is located in this hall.

The basketball and volleyball training hall covers an area of ​​3,100 square meters. There are two basketball and volleyball training courts in the hall, a movable stand with 1,500 seats for spectators, hydraulic electric basketball stands and an electronic scoreboard. In addition, there is a 500-square-meter fitness, table tennis and other activity venues on the second floor.

The tennis complex, comprising salon and center courts, spans 4,500 square meters, encompassing five courts meeting international competition standards. The complex also features a 1,200-square-meter lounge area and a second-floor grandstand seating for 400 spectators. The Xiamen Sports Center Tennis Management Center, established in 1998, currently boasts seven outdoor and two indoor courts.
