Introducing Bishan Park

Bishan Park is the "Hundred Herb Garden" for those born in the 1980s and 1990s on Gulangyu Island. With its swings and benches, the warmth and laughter of family, its green pond, willow trees, and lush flowers and trees, Bishan Park carries the memories of many Gulangyu residents. "Above, there were blue skies and white clouds; in the woods, there were wildflowers; in the treetops, birds sang; in the grass, there were autumn insects chirping. Now, it's just a small, abandoned park on Gulangyu Island."

Climb up the mountain from the steps next to Longshan Cave. At the end of the steps is a dense small forest. Follow the trampled path and you can see several huge rocks piled together. Climb to the top along a shaky iron ladder and you can overlook Gulangyu Island, facing the northwest side, the direction of Neicuo'ao Wharf.
