In 1948 , a great revival occurred in the Fuzhou Church, leading to a significant increase in the number of believers. Watchman Nee donated his ancestral property at No. 24 , Zhongdong Lane, Zhongzhou Island , to be converted into the second meeting hall of the Fuzhou Church. This 600- square-meter building could accommodate 1,000 people, making it larger than the Jinmen Road meeting hall. Later, Elder Zheng Zhengguang took charge of the building.
