Located 1.5 kilometers east of Liancheng, Guanzhi Mountain rises from the flat ground, unconnected to hillocks. Its position is elevated, unassuming, and remote. It is straight on the outside and hollow in the middle, covering a circumference of 40 li. It was designated a national scenic spot in 1993.

Guanzhi Mountain was formerly known as Tianshi, named for its peak resembling a giant crown. Due to its unique and steep rocks, during the Ming Dynasty, the area was reclaimed for fortification, north-south moats and walls were built, stone steps were hewn, and academies were constructed, making it renowned as the "First Viewpoint of the Upper Reaches." The mountain's name, "Qi," resembles a blooming lotus from afar, earning it the name Lianhua Mountain. It has been developed since the establishment of Liancheng in 1133, the third year of the Shaoxing reign of the Song Dynasty, and was designated a scenic spot during the Yuan Dynasty.

Guanzhi Mountain is a Danxia landform with steep peaks and rocks and charming scenery. There is the Cangyu Gorge where clear springs flow through the rocks and the sound comes out of the canyon; there is the Jinzi Spring which is as clear as a mirror; there is the Yitiantian where two peaks are cracked in the wall, and a line of light appears at the sky; there is the "Zhaotianzhu" which looks lonely but shines on the earth; there is the Lotus Cave which has a spring and a refreshing breeze and can accommodate hundreds of people; there is the Sister Rock which is graceful and beautiful; when you climb the Dantiyunzhan to the top of the mountain and look into the distance, you will feel as if you are traveling in the sky, swaying in the white clouds.

With its subtropical monsoon climate, the construction of Guanzhi Mountain Scenic Area has made great progress. The mountain roads have been rebuilt, more than 100,000 trees and flowers have been planted, the Changshou Pavilion and Ningbi Mountain House have been built, and the tourism service facilities have been improved, attracting a large number of Chinese and foreign tourists. It is suitable for travel in all seasons.
