Anyang People's Park embodies tourism and culture. One of Anyang's four major parks, it was built in 1955 and is located at 73 Dongfeng Road in Anyang. It is a business-oriented institution with 105 employees and occupies 273 mu (30 mu of which is water). It features gardens, flowers, amusement parks, animals, and services.
The park adheres to the working idea of "taking service as the center, increasing income by attracting, demanding efficiency from management, and seeking development by tapping potential", and continuously broadens the development path of the garden industry. It has built nearly 20,000 square meters of green lawns, laid colored road slabs, repaired tourist seats, and updated fruit peel bins.
Today, People's Park boasts carpeted lawns, adorned with birdsong and fragrant flowers. Its beautiful environment and high-quality services have earned it praise from visitors, steadily improving its three key benefits. The park has been awarded the title of "Provincial Civilized Unit" by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, and the title of "Greening Standard Park" by the Provincial Greening Committee.
Boasting a temperate monsoon climate, Anyang People's Park boasts a vibrant display of peonies, peonies, and winter jasmine in spring. In summer, the park is shaded by green trees and filled with intoxicating fragrance. In autumn, crape myrtles and a variety of chrysanthemums fill the park. In winter, verdant pines and cypresses, and smiling wintersweets immerse visitors in a world of flowers, allowing them to enjoy the beauty of nature and truly experience the harmony between man and nature. It's a great place to visit in all four seasons.
The entire park is divided into four areas: flower area, sightseeing service area, entertainment area, and animal viewing area. It is the largest public entertainment venue in Anyang City.
The flower area is located in the southeast of the park. In this four-season garden, where fragrance overflows in winter and summer, it is a world of flowers. Various flowers, plants and trees are gathered here.
The recreational area, located in the southern part of the park, is a children's paradise. It features over a dozen rides, including bumper cars, a Ferris wheel, and a self-driving airplane. Every holiday, children enjoy the joy of childhood here.
The tourist service area is centered around a 30-acre lake, with a central pavilion built in the center. Connected by the curved bridge, deer bridge, jade belt bridge, and cloud maple bridge, the area is surrounded by weeping willows and towering cedars. A 217-meter long corridor winds and twists, while the 6,000-square-meter bonsai garden is a poetic and picturesque delight.
The animal viewing area is located in the northern part of the park, where you can see more than 200 species of animals, including Siberian tigers, African lions, black bears, brown bears, sika deer, fallow deer, camels, yaks, macaques, parrots, blue peacocks, white jade birds, mandarin ducks, magpies, vultures, etc., which will feast your eyes.
