
Sanjiao Lake Park covers 107 mu (approximately 16 acres), with a lake area of 26 mu. Despite its small size, it is exquisitely designed and ingeniously designed. Its architectural features and layout have been repeatedly praised by national and provincial garden experts.
The garden's rockery, pavilions, long corridors, curved bridges, stone carvings of famous figures, and plaques and inscriptions create a sense of interest, enriching the garden's classical cultural heritage. With a temperate monsoon climate, strolling through the gardens reveals a variety of carefully shaped plants, arches, pavilions, and various animals, all vividly depicted. It's a pleasant place to visit in all seasons.
The "Pomegranate Garden" on the east side of the park is dotted with pomegranate trees, with Taihu rocks piled up like mountains, and rivers and ponds weaving through the surroundings. Gravel-paved paths and winding paths invite visitors to linger and cultivate their body and mind. Entering the "Chrysanthemum Village", visitors will appreciate the beautifully shaped bonsai art.
A major feature of the park is the bonsai trees handcrafted and cultivated by gardeners, which frequently win awards in competitions. Their potted fruit trees won four silver medals and one bronze medal at the 1999 Kunming World Expo. Climbing the majestic Anyang Ancient City Wall corner tower in the park's southwest corner offers panoramic views of the ancient city, a refreshing experience for visitors, allowing them to sense the profound changes in society and the call of our times.
The 514-meter lakeside corridor, like a colorful ribbon, stretches northeast of the lake. Its 214-meter-long murals showcase the scenic spots and cultural landscapes of various counties and districts in Anyang City. Visitors can admire the "Eight Great Scenic Spots of Anyang" of yesteryear while touring the corridor. Strolling through the garden, you'll find a variety of carefully shaped plants, including arches, pavilions, and various animals, all vividly depicted. This rich, lifelike form not only showcases the gardeners' exceptional skill but also offers visitors a visual feast.
