
Longhu Lake Scenic Area, located in Huaiyang County, is the largest lake surrounding a city in inland China. The lake embraces the ancient city, which stands tall in the water. With the city within the lake and the lake within the city, it is known as an inland wonder and a famous pearl of the Central Plains. The vast expanse of Longhu Lake, with its shimmering emerald waters, shimmering golden light, willow branches draping the banks, gulls and herons frolicking on the shores, lush cattails, and vibrant hibiscus, creates a picturesque and breathtaking scene .
With a city within a lake and a lake within a city, it is known as an inland wonder and a famous pearl of the Central Plains. The meeting place of the pair of lovers described in the Book of Songs and Chen Feng was right on the shores of this ancient and magical Longhu Lake.
Longhu lotus has a long history and brilliant colors, and is known as " the first lotus in China " . Since 2007 , Huaiyang County has successfully held nine lotus festivals.

Longhu Scenic Area is a natural and cultural site known for its lush landscapes, limestone formations, and historical significance. It represents the natural beauty and local heritage of Zhoukou, Henan.
Located in Zhoukou, Henan Province. Accessible by taxi or local bus from Zhoukou city center. Walking is ideal for exploring the scenic trails inside the park.
Open generally from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Spring and autumn offer the best weather and scenic views.
Tickets cost approximately 40–70 CNY. They can be purchased on-site or via local online ticket platforms.
