The Ganzhou Ancient Floating Bridge, scientifically known as the Huimin Bridge, also known as the Dongjin Bridge, the Donghe Floating Bridge, and the Jianchunmen Floating Bridge, is approximately 400 meters long and connects the two ends of the Gong River. Constructed from over 100 small boats tied together with cables, it dates back to the Qiandao period of the Song Dynasty (1163-1173) and boasts a history of over 800 years. The entire bridge is divided into 33 sections, connected by cables and then anchored to the river surface with steel cables and iron anchors.
Ganzhou City is located on the southern edge of the mid-subtropical zone and belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone.
