The Ganzhou Confucian Temple is located southeast of Ganzhou's old city district, north of the eastern section of Houde Road, in Jiangxi Province. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient county school site in Jiangxi Province and a nationally protected cultural relic. The vast majority of its surviving buildings date from the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty and are well-preserved. These include the Dacheng Gate, Dacheng Hall, Chongsheng Shrine, Kuixing Pavilion, and Jiexiao Shrine. The Dacheng Hall, the temple's central structure, stands 15 meters tall and boasts a majestic presence, imbued with distinct southern Jiangxi characteristics.
