Introducing Suojiang Tower

Suojiang Tower is located on the bank of the Yangtze River in Jiujiang City. When you take a boat into Jiujiang waters, the pagoda of Suojiang Tower (Wenfeng Tower) will come into view. Therefore, Suojiang Tower has become the symbol of Jiujiang.

The tower stands 35 meters tall, seven stories high, and has a six-sided conical shape. Built of blue bricks and topped with a stone arch, it stands proudly on the riverbank, resembling a giant pillar supporting the sky. It is one of the ten scenic spots of Xunyang. This spot was originally a Dragon Rock, a prominent rise from the riverbank that rises over 30 meters above the surface. The current swirled and raged here, often causing shipwrecks.
