Lengshuijian Scenic Area is located in the southern district of Jingdezhen, China, the world's renowned porcelain capital. It is a National AA-level tourist attraction, 7 kilometers from the city center, at the junction of eastern Yushan Town and western Hetang Township. It sits within the scenic Feifeng Ridge of the Lanshan Mountains. Vegetation is primarily composed of young trees and shrubs, with numerous rare species of plants and animals. It is one of the earliest birthplaces of Buddhism in our city, with a history dating back over a thousand years. Surrounded by mountains, lush greenery, and lush vegetation, the area offers breathtaking views of nature as visitors ascend the Thousand-Layer Staircase. Visitors can often witness breathtakingly beautiful, mirage-like cloudscapes emerging from the drifting mist.
A winding path leads to a secluded spot on the mountain, once bustling with traffic. It led to Leping, Yongshan, Yushan, Poyang, and other places. Long ago, it served as an ancient post road and a major transportation route. Legend has it that the immortal Li Tieguai's cane was the source of the Fairy Water Spring, a spring of divine energy. Furthermore, the Guanyin Temple on the mountain is a popular attraction, attracting a constant stream of pilgrims seeking the water each year.
Atop Lengshuijian Mountain, 531 meters above sea level, stands a half-empty temple. A spring perpetually seeps water within the temple. Legend has it that the spring was created when the immortal Li Tieguai, seeking to save thirsty sentient beings, used his crutch to conjure the spring. Guanyin Bodhisattva then sprinkled three drops of pure water into the spring, and Medicine King Li Yaoshi, following Guanyin, then bestowed several elixirs to aid the healing process. Therefore, it is considered "immortal water," attracting a constant stream of worshippers seeking the "immortal water." The temple has been worshipped for millennia, earning it the nickname "Sacred Mountain," a place of eternal worship and fascination for believers and pilgrims. The mineral structure of the spring's water is so beneficial to health that some ailments have miraculously healed after drinking it, earning the name "immortal water" a relatable relevance.
The climate is subtropical monsoon humid. Lengshuijian Scenic Area has built a number of cultural landscapes and mountain ecological attractions on the basis of the original natural scenery. It integrates pilgrimage, tourism and leisure. It is an ideal place for tourists and pilgrims to worship and relax, and is suitable for travel in all seasons.
