
Xihaiwan Scenic Area, located in Wuning County, Jiujiang City, is one of the county's core scenic areas. Built around the Shatian River, Chaoyang Lake, Changshui Weir, and Xihai Weir, it covers an area of 1.04 square kilometers, including 0.65 square kilometers of water area. It is an urban river and lake-type water conservancy scenic area.
The scenic area has built Chaoyang Lake Park, Bayin Park Sightseeing Belt and Shatin River Wetland Park Sightseeing Belt along the lakeshore. The scenic area has convenient transportation, crisscrossing waterways, and 8 bridges with unique characteristics , integrating lake landscape, urban landscape and wetland landscape.
