Known as the Immortal City, it is one of Longhu Mountain's main attractions, thanks to the Tang Dynasty poet Gu Kuang's poem, "The towers and terraces, emerald green, stand out clearly from afar; I hear the immortals dwell in this city. There's no road to the immortal city, only voices among the flowers by the water." The mountain rises majestically from the ground, like a pillar supporting the heavens. Pass through three mountain gates and climb 720 steps to the summit. Along the way, you'll find over a dozen scenic spots, including the Immortal Rat Stone, Phoenix Bridge, the Immortal Water Well, the Immortal Lady's Temple, the Clear and Turbid Water Pool, the Dragon Transformation Pool, and the Tushita Palace.
Yingtan City has a subtropical humid monsoon mild climate with abundant rainfall, sufficient sunlight, a long frost-free period and four distinct seasons.
