Introducing Zhi Zi Luo

Zhiziluo means "good place" in Lisu. The village belongs to Pihe Nu Township, Fugong County, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It was once the seat of the prefecture government, but now it is a ghost town, still retaining the appearance of the 1960s and 1970s.

In the early 1970s, experts predicted a potential landslide disaster, posing a high risk of destruction for the mountain city. The entire city was subsequently relocated to Liuku. What remained on the site was the so-called "abandoned city"—Zhiziluo—which is now reverting to its ancient name. It offers a sense of time travel, of being frozen in time.

This once-prosperous city has become an outcast, its former glory fading with it. Known as the City of Memory, visitors can stroll, reminisce, and simply let their minds wander.
