The Jade Emperor Pavilion and Jade Buddha Temple are located on the mountainside of Taibao Mountain. The Jade Emperor Pavilion, a three-story Ming Dynasty structure with brackets, is magnificent, exquisitely crafted, and imposing. The inscription on the second floor is different when viewed from the front, left, and right. From the front, the beige characters "至誠无忌" (sincere and without fear) appear; from the left, the green characters "龙飞凤凰舞" (dragons and phoenixes dance); and from the right, the maroon characters "海安河清" (seas and rivers are peaceful and clear) are quite intriguing. Climbing over 700 steps, the summit boasts a panoramic view of the entire Baoshan Mountain, including the Wangcheng Tower, a stage, and the Songyuan Pavilion. The summit also houses the Wuhou Temple, the second largest temple in Southwest China.
