Swan Lake covers an area of ​​3 square kilometers, of which the wetland area is 2.6 square kilometers, accounting for 86.7% of the total area. It is an ecological scenic spot mainly composed of karst peaks, lakes, caves and wetland ecological groups.

The wetland biodiversity in the area is extremely rich, including 18 species of fish, 6 species of amphibians, 10 species of reptiles, 16 species of mammals, 145 species of birds, 1 species of national first-class protected animal, and 9 species of national second-class protected animals.

Birds include 146 species, including the Oriental White Stork, Black-winged Kite, Collared Scops Owl, Goose, Herons, Great Egrets, and Spot-billed Duck. The Oriental White Stork is a first-class national protected species. Wetland plants encompass 119 families, 332 genera, and 465 species, including 15 second-class national protected species. Aquatic plants include sea lettuce, wild water chestnut, golden anemone, hornwort, agave, Vallisneria, water terrapin, water hyacinth, pondweed, black algae, chara, foxtail algae, and lotus.
