Tongluoba National Forest Park is located in Shuifu County, Zhaotong City, over 40 kilometers from the county seat. The scenic area boasts five streams, 18 small basins, seven small lakes, and dozens of waterfalls. It is one of the most intact subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests in northeastern Yunnan. The entire area boasts majestic, unique, dangerous, secluded, and beautiful scenery, making it an ideal destination for leisure and tourism.
Tongluoba National Forest Park boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, with peaks clustered like forests and thousands of acres of lush greenery. In Pigeon Valley, several Davidia involucrata trees stand in clusters, and when in bloom, they resemble a flock of white doves dancing through the trees. Millennium-old elephant trunk trees, with their intertwined roots, create a lifelike spectacle. Tea Mountain Ridge and the azalea forests, when in bloom, create a dazzling display.
Tongluoba National Forest Park has a subtropical humid climate and is a combination of grandeur, strangeness, danger, seclusion and beauty. It is an excellent eco-tourism destination bestowed by nature and is suitable for travel in all seasons.
