Introducing Huibo Evening Glow

Huibo Evening Glow is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Jinan. It can be viewed from Huibo Tower. At the northeast corner of Daming Lake, there's a gate called the North Water Gate. In the past, water from the city's numerous springs flowed through this gate, hence its name. A bridge over the gate is called Huibo Bridge, and beneath it stands a temple called Yan Gong Temple. Beneath the bridge stands a terrace called Yan Gong Terrace, and beneath the terrace stands a gate called the Arch Gate. Below the gate lies water, flanked by willows that drape over the gate and droop into the water. A gentle breeze sways the willow branches, rippling the water like a brocade. The setting sun casts a vibrant orange-red hue on the surrounding landscape, creating a breathtaking spectacle. This scene is known as the "Huibo Evening Glow." With the passage of time, the Arch Gate has become blocked, and this scene has vanished.
