Langmao Mountain is located in the southern part of Shizhong District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, west of Qilishan West Road, east of Langmaoshan Road, and north of Second Ring Road South. It has three main peaks, each 235 meters above sea level, composed of limestone. Overgrown with weeds and interspersed with pines and cypresses, it is commonly known as Nanshan and also as Langwo Mountain. Legend has it that in the early years of the Republic of China, the area was remote and desolate, covered in weeds, and wolves inhabited the ravines and caves, hence the name "Langmao Mountain."
Langmao Mountain is composed of seven peaks, large and small, arranged like the Big Dipper. The park is shaded by green trees and offers a tranquil environment. Small leisure facilities are located within the park, and a four-corner pavilion can be seen near the west gate, making it a great place for relaxation.
Jinan has a temperate monsoon climate with obvious monsoons and distinct four seasons: dry and rainy spring, warm and rainy summer, cool and dry autumn, and cold and snowy winter.
