Lijiang Elephant Mountain is a very inconspicuous mountain located in the north of Lijiang City (Old Town). When you look north at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from Lijiang Old Town, the mountain on the left is Lion Mountain (a small hill between the urban area and the Old Town), on which are Lijiang TV Station and Wangu Tower. The Twin Peaks Mountain on the right is Elephant Mountain. You can see a small pavilion on the left peak and a tall antenna on the right peak.
The view from the top of Elephant Mountain is expansive. To the southeast, you can see the entire Old Town of Lijiang. To the northwest, you'll find Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Black Dragon Pond, and other scenic spots. To climb Elephant Mountain, you need to go through the back entrance of Black Dragon Pond Park. Most people who climb Elephant Mountain are permanent residents of Lijiang, and they climb early in the morning to take advantage of the sunrise to witness the tranquility and clarity of the ancient city.

Black Dragon Pond
Located at the foot of Elephant Mountain in the north of the city, if you go upstream along the Jade River along the longitude and latitude from Sifang Street in Lijiang Ancient Town, there is a crystal clear spring pool about one kilometer away, which is the world-famous Black Dragon Pool.
Dongba Culture Museum
The Dongba Culture Museum, featuring Dongba culture, occupies a 7-acre site and is a comprehensive museum of ethnic customs encompassing history, nature, and art. The museum's main building is a replica of the ancient Naxi courtyard-style building, taking advantage of the topography and natural environment to create a cluster of courtyards as the main building belt.
Qingxi Reservoir
