The river in Lijiang's Blue Moon Valley, blocked by mountains, forms four large bodies of water: Yuye Lake, Jingtan Lake, Blue Moon Lake, and Tingtao Lake. Yuye Lake is one of these four, located upstream of Jingtan Lake. Its deeper waters give it a more turquoise appearance. Upon arrival, it feels like a fairyland, pure and tranquil. Many newlyweds take wedding photos by the lake, creating a unique scene.
