Introducing Jingtan Lake

The river in Blue Moon Valley, obstructed by the mountains, forms four larger water bodies: Jade Liquid Lake, Mirror Lake, Blue Moon Lake, and Listening to Waves Lake. The miniature Mirror Lake is beautiful, tranquil, and peaceful, making it well worth a visit, evoking a sense of miniature Jiuzhaigou.

The name of Jingtan Lake comes from the artistic conception of an ancient Naxi song sung by a man and a woman: "Spring water flows everywhere, the spring water flows into the pond, the pond water is clear and bright, better than a small bronze mirror, there is no need to be afraid of the mirror breaking, the pond water is a mirror, brother and sister meet again, their smiling shadows float on the pond water, the pond water is a mirror, brother and sister laugh in the water, please don't worry..."

The waters of Jingtan Lake are so clear that you can even see a grain of sand at the bottom. The waters are icy cold, as if melted after a thousand years of freezing. Furthermore, the lake is surrounded by rocky beaches. The colorful pebbles add a touch of brilliance to the "sapphire" surface. It's said that when visiting this lake, washing your hands and face three times is essential to wash away any bad luck.
