Introducing Wangshuiquan

Wangshui Spring is located within the Wanzhu Garden of Baotu Spring Park. It was included in both the Jin Dynasty's "Famous Springs Monument" and the Ming Dynasty's "Poems on Seventy-two Famous Springs." The spring pool is 20 meters long, 9.8 meters wide, and 2.2 meters deep. A three-arch stone bridge spans the center, with a pavilion to the south and a hall-gate tower to the north. A stone inscription inscribed with "Wangshui Spring" dating from 1910, the Gengwu year of the Qing Dynasty, is embedded in the north bank of the bridge's west bank. Buildings are scattered around the pool, and lush bamboo forests form.

Wangshui Spring is located in the west courtyard of Wanzhu Garden. According to legend, this spring is connected to another famous spring in Wanzhu Garden, Dengzhou Spring, and both overlook Dengzhou, hence the name "Wangshui Spring".

Wangshui Spring is located in the west courtyard of Wanzhu Garden. Ming Dynasty poet Yan Bi believed that this spring was connected to the Dengzhou Spring not far outside the garden, so he wrote a poem: "Wanzhu Garden is full of secluded scenery. Twin springs overlook Dengzhou. Hundred-foot-high green wutong trees inhabit red phoenixes. Thousands of snow-capped waves play with white gulls."
