Introducing Eribuge Grand Canyon

The Erbugai Grand Canyon is located 54 kilometers south of Badain Jaran Town, Alxa Right Banner, Inner Mongolia, and 12 kilometers from the former Erbugai Sumu . The canyon is shaped like a human figure from north to south, stretching approximately 5 kilometers, and the surrounding terrain is very secluded.

The valley is quiet and deep, with lush pastures, 30 to 40 meters wide at its widest point and only a few meters narrow at its narrowest point. On either side of the canyon are stone walls, which are said to be the remains of an ancient battlefield.

The Grand Canyon stretches for dozens of kilometers, crisscrossed with red and reddish-brown wind-eroded rocks, "colored like cinnabar and shining like bright clouds," a typical Danxia landform, formed in the Cretaceous period, approximately 65 to 137 million years ago.
