Yangting River Wetland Park is located in Yangting Town, Huancui District, Weihai City, Shandong Province. It is 6.7 kilometers long and covers a total area of 85.22 hectares. In January 2014, it was rated as a provincial wetland park by the Shandong Provincial Forestry Department.
Yangting River Wetland Park successfully passed the review of the provincial wetland park expert group organized by the Shandong Provincial Forestry Department and was officially announced, successfully advancing to a provincial wetland park. This is also the first time that Huancui District has won the title of provincial wetland park.
It has a temperate continental semi-humid monsoon climate with distinct four seasons, moderate cold and hot seasons, synchronized light and temperature, and simultaneous rain and heat. Spring is dry and windy, summer is hot and rainy, autumn is sunny and refreshing, and winter is cold and snowy.
