Xinggong Tower, also known as Wenbi Tower, is located in Weishan Yi and Hui Autonomous County, Yunnan Province. Located in the center of the ancient city, it served as a cross-street tower in the heart of Menghua Prefecture during the Ming Dynasty. During the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty, a large number of Ming troops arrived. Weishan established garrisons and established garrisons. On this basis, the ancient city was redeveloped and the original earthen city was converted into a brick and stone fortress. The city was completed in the 23rd year of the Hongwu reign (1390).

The walls are made of brick and stone, with 1,277 battlements and 430 crenellations. Four gates are built, and towers are erected on top: the eastern tower is named Zhongwu, the southern tower is named Yingxun, the western tower is named Weiyuan, and the northern tower is named Gongchen. The three-story northern tower offers a panoramic view of the entire Sichuan River. It is surrounded by a moon-shaped city wall, making it extremely sturdy. The city walls are square like a seal, with the Wenbi Tower in the center serving as the seal's handle."

The tower is pavilion-style, constructed with a combination of raised and through-beam beams and a double-eaved hip roof. The ground floor is surrounded by corridors, with plaques on all four sides depicting the scenery of Mount Weishan's four rings: "Auspicious Mist and Huafeng," "Mountain Clouds Embracing Cranes," "Jade Rings and Guapu," and "Green Shadows and Coiling Dragons." From the upper floors, panoramic views of the mountain can be enjoyed.
